About the home
This property is situated in the village of Madeira in the countryside where there are lots of lovely views and exotic flowers. It is very open and spacious, with three bedrooms, an open kitchen, and balcony. It also has two verandas, one in the front of the house and one in the back with chairs and a table so you can sit back and relax.
The property is conveniently located for many attractions: it is above a little Bar/Coffee shop so you don have to go far to get fresh coffee and cake in the morning. The bus stop is just across the road, and we are just ten minutes from a stunning sandy beach and 20 minutes from Madeira's capital, Funchal.

The Madeira region
There are mild temperatures all year around on this charming island just off Portugal. The area is peaceful and there is plenty of countryside to explore as well as the beautiful coastline. There is also plenty to see in the main town, with churches and the annual Carnival.
The Calheta / Arco da Calheta area
Our property is a twenty minute drive to the city of Funchal and ten minutes walk to the sandy beach of Calheta, one of the best beaches on the whole island, where they have lots of different restaurants and attractions there in the summer including volley ball tournaments and speed boating.
