This superb townhouse is located in a lovely urbanisation only approx 4 minutes walk to the marina, local shops and restaurants, 3 minutes walk to the beach, and about 3 minutes drive to Baviera golf course, and has everything you need for your holiday.
The property includes: 3 bedrooms - one double with en suite, the other two are twin rooms, a family bathroom. A fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, full size hob, micowave and dishwasher, which leads into a spacious openplan lounge dining room with large sofa, two chairs, coffee table, Satelite TV, book shelf with various books, and dining table with 6 chairs. There is also a downstairs cloakroom/toilet.
Ouside the house is a rear terrace with sunbeds, table and chairs for 6, there are also three terraces at the front, one at ground floor level, one at first floor level and one on the roof which has views to the sea. The communal pool, which is open 1st May to 31st October, also has a children's pool, can be found in less than a minute's walk.

The house is suitable for those with restricted mobility, but please note that the bedrooms and bathrooms are situated on the first floor which is accessed by stairs only.
Smokers are welcome, but please use outside areas only in respect of non-smokers who may be renting after you.

Car advised for those wishing to sightsee the surrounding area, but not essential as there is a good bus service, and amenties within walking distance.
For those not wishing to hire a car, there is bus service from Malaga airport (see 'how to get there' section), taxis can be taken from the airport, or alternative airport transfers may be arranged upon request.
The Costa del Sol region
The best climate in Europe, with lots of sunshine all year round the mean annual temperature being about 19 °C (66 °F).
The inner city of Málaga is just behind the harbour. The quarters of El Perchel, La Trinidad and Lagunillas surround this centre, with lovely historic buildings, castle, and Picasso Museum in the old part of Málaga, with lots of tapas bars, restaurants and shops, this city is well worth a visit.
Nerja is accessible by bus, or 15 minutes by car, with the famous El Balcon, narrow streets, restaurants, bars and lots of nightlife.
The house is centrally positioned for exploring Andalucia, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Seville, Marbella, Ronda, Granada, Sierra Nevada, and Almeria are all within a 2-3 hour drive.
Caleta de Velez
Caleta de Velez is on the east of the Costa Del Sol. It is next to the towns of Torre del Mar, and Velez Malaga, these remain a very Spanish area where the spanish way of life exists. A promenade runs along the Mediterranean coastline from the marina at Caleta to the end of Torre del Mar and is a pleasant walk, passing a great selection of cafes, restaurants and bars. During the summer months there are market stalls, local open- air entertainment and children’s fun fairs. Sun lounges and parasols are also available for hire on many parts of the beach.
Caleta de Velez is a pretty fishing town only 30 kilometres from Malaga with superb beaches, an impressive marina, a large and colourful Saturday morning street market and the 18-hole Baviera golf course.
Caleta means bay in Spanish and the name of this town literally means The Bay of Velez-Malaga.
Velez-Malaga, the historic capital of the area with a traditional town centre, theatre, central hospital and water park plus the large El Ingenio shopping mall, is just a kilometer away. Caleta is unique in having a village atmosphere with all amenities on hand plus it is a short stroll along the attractive promenade, lined with palm trees and nesting green parrots, to the lively adjacent resort of Torre del Mar, and a two minute drive to the Mediterranean Motorway which connects east to west and north to south.
The local full 18 hole golf course is Baviera Golf. 3 minutes drive to the club house (discount available) www.bavieragolf.com. Other golf courses available within a 20 km radius.
There are many local banks. There is a big shopping mall in Velez Malaga with a big supermarket with shops like Zara, Mango etc. and a cinema.
Everyday of the week there is a market locally except Sundays in different villages on Saturday the market is in Caleta.
Local activites include horse riding, scuba diving, aqua park, and go karting.
There is a skiing resort at Sierra Nevada in Granada which is one hour and half hours by car.
Granada’s Alhambra Palace and science park are not to be missed and take about one and a half hours drive.
Malaga Centre is about 25 minutes by car/about 45 minutes by frequent buses.
Gilbratar is approximately one and a half hours by car.
Malaga Airport is approximately 35 minutes by car.

"Excellent and relaxing holiday"
Two week stay a good welcome from Sue.House well decorated and clean with all equipment which was needed..House was well positioned and in a quite area.Excellent patio and hope to stay again.… More

"Quiet and relaxing"
House was clean and welcoming with all mod cons. As described 2 minutes to the pool (mostly there on our own) and 5 minutes to the beach, which was very quiet and sun beds only 5 euros for the set. The Eclipse restaurant on the beach was our favourite, with reasonable excellent food. Staff very friendly. Lovely promenade walk into Torre De Mar and enjoyed the market in Callete on Saturday morning. Had barbecues on some evenings and felt very Spanish going to Aldi (3 minutes walk) for our food. Took a boat trip with Ena - lovely too. Don't go there if you want noisy nightlife, but all was perfect for us. Sue & Mark were very helpful with everything. We arranged transport to and from the airport with them.

On arriving at house was met by Sue who showed us around and gave information on area. The house was clean and airy and on first impression was very pleased. Nothing negative to say about house. Swimming pool we had to ourselves most days. 30 minuted walk into Tor del Mar in the evening for dinner along the promanade was very nice and got a taxi back cost 9 euro for the 4 of us. We had hired a car and went to Gibralta for the day. On another day we went to Granada. There is an Aldi shop 5 mins away which was very handy. Also the market on Saturday is well worth a look. The only negative thing was the beach did not like the sea which shelved into deep water.

"A great property in a fantastic location"
The agents were most helpful and greeted us on arrival. The house is well decorated and furnished and has lots of cutlery etc. It is 5 minutes walk from the beach, bars and shops.....just a great location. You can either hire a car or use the buses to get aroung and there is plenty to see/do.

"Great value for money"
Our family, two teenagers and one 9 year old spent two weeks here in August 2011. The house was superb; clean, spacious and well equipped. The communal pool is literally a two minute walk through the urbanisation although the kids preferred the beach next to the fishing port because of the "huge Waves". Caleta is still relatively unspoilt most of the people on holiday were Spanish and the bars and restaurants were good value. We hired a car and drove to Granada, Nerja and Malaga. The water-park at Torremolinos is well worth a visit far better than the one in Caleta. Great Holiday

"Wow - what a fantastic holiday"
We arrived at this property late at night and were immediately impressed with its attractive modern comfort. It was tastefully decorated, absolutely spotless and contained everything that we needed for a thoroughly relaxing holiday. The welcome pack which included essentials, plus a couple of treats was generous and greatly appreciated, especially by our three hungry offspring at midnight! The property was extremely well located in a quiet residental area. The locals were very friendly and all amenities were within easy walking distance. The fabulous shared pool, which we must have used at least twenty times, was a good size and was never crowded, in fact we were often the only family there! Caleta itself had some very reasonably priced restaurants and Ramo's bakery had pastries to die for. The beach, which was within easy walking distance, kept the children amused for hours and the chirnguitos along the sea front were great places to stop and have an icecream or drink. We found plenty of varied things to do in the area too, we took day trips out to attractive Nerja and its 4km long cave complex, we visited the Picasso museum in Malaga, and spent mad days at the water parks, to name but a few. An altogether relaxing, enjoyable and truly memorable holiday was had by all.
