About the home

Whether its a relaxing sunny break you want or a golfing holiday, you'll find that our beautiful villa on the Fuerteventura Golf Resort will cater for all your needs. Furnished to a high standard, it has a lounge, separate kitchen and bathroom, and 2 double bedrooms. It benefits from a large terrace and garden area and a communal pool.

The living room is tastefully furnished to a high standard, and has direct access to the outside terrace overlooking the front garden where you can dine 'al fresco'. There's a selection of games, books, DVDs and CDs for you to enjoy during your visit.

The kitchen is in a separate room, and has a door leading to an enclosed outdoor utility area. The bathroom is fully tiled with white bath (overhead shower), wc and bidet. Mirror. Extractor Fan.

Both bedrooms are bright and airy, with fitted wardrobes, bedside lamps and ample storage. A high chair and cot can be hired from our property manager.

Pay As You Go wifi internet is available at the villa through Canarynet Wireless.

Further details outdoors:
A short walk from the beach-front, the property is at the lower end of the golf course. The access road is well lit and decorated by palm trees and other plants. Entry to the course is monitored by security staff who also patrol 24 hours a day. The villa itself is enclosed with gates and electronic entry phone. There is a car port, and also on-street parking. The main feature is the wide terrace and beautiful garden which is great for relaxing and sunbathing. Several sunbeds are provided. The garden and terrace are lit at night with outdoor lighting. Just behind the villa is the communal swimming pool, with sunbeds, showers and toilet facilities.

We can arrange for a welcome grocery pack to be delivered. You just pay the cost shown on the supermarket receipt when you arrive.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is one of the Canary Islands situated 60 miles off the African continent. It has an all year round sunny climate with little rain, not dissimilar to Miami or Mexico - yet is only 4 hours flight time from the UK.

Our wonderful new bungalow is situated on a prestigious new golf course development, a few minutes from the resort of Caleta de Fuste. Less than 8 kilometres from the airport, the property is centrally located and is ideally based for sightseeing and visting the wonderful beaches around the island.

Towards the north of the island, you'll find the popular resort of Corralejo and its wide expanse of natural sand dunes. Corralejo is also home to Baku, the island's waterpark. Heading south is the resort of Morro Jable, famous for its beaches and windsurfing. On the way, there's the zoo and tropical gardens at La Lajita. Inland, there are many villages and towns to explore including the old capital of Betancuria, reached by the winding roads up the mountainside.

The Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area

It's a short (about 12 minutes) stroll from the villa to the beach-front. Here the Atlantico centre has a supermarket, bank, hairdresser, multi-screen cinema and bowling complex. There is a range of shops, bars and restaurants too. Adjacent, is the 5 star Sheraton Hotel & Spa and the 4 star Elba Carlota and Elba Sara Hotels which provide great evening entertainment for the whole family. Alternatively, the 5 star Elba Golf Hotel on the golf course offers refined dining and a quiet piano bar. The white sandy beaches are perfect for sunbathing and the sheltered coves make swimming very safe. A short walk along the beach promenade brings you to the main resort of Caleta de Fuste where there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants. At the harbour, there is fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, and cruising (in search of dolphins and whales).

Many guests enjoy a relaxing holiday here without playing golf but, if you decide to play, you'll find that the course is professionally designed to take the island's breeze into account. There are large greens with lakes and other obstacles. There's a practice range, buggies for hire, and a clubhouse with 5 star amenities. All a short walk from the bungalow.

Lots of charter flights fly to Fuerteventura. If you want greater flexibility and don't mind a stopover in Madrid, try a scheduled flight (www.opodo.co.uk). These can sometimes work out cheaper too.

A hire car is not necessary but the property is a great base for exploring the island from. Car hire is available at the airport but it can work out cheaper if you book beforehand. We use www.cicar.com.

A taxi from the airport takes around 10 mins and costs about 10 Euros (£7). We can arrange a dedicated pick-up and drop-off service if you prefer, for 15 Euros (£10) each way.
