About the home

Situated on the hillside above Caleta de Fueste, it is a 20 minute walk to the beautiful calm golden sandy beaches and the main town of Caleta with its excellent choice of bars, restaurants and shops. There are also a number of bars and supermarkets nearby.

Caleta has something for everyone, its very family friendly, it also has a fantastic range of cuisine from traditional Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, fantastic Seafood and Steak restaurants too.

The villa is centrally located, ideal for exploring the whole island, with it's unspoiled tranquil beaches, with huge stretches of white sand, and clear turquoise sea. This provides the perfect place to relax in the sun or participate in the various and varied water sports, or a round of golf or two.

Facilities

Master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a fan over the bed and patio doors leading outside to the pretty private rear garden. Sun loungers are provided for your use. The living room has patio doors opening to the terrace with views over the town. Ideal for sunny breakfasts and relaxing in the evening.

We also have Freeview TV, a good selection of books, DVDs, videos and games to keep you occupied. WiFi is available at an additional cost of EUR 15 per week, this can be arranged to be activated for your arrival.

All bed linen and towels are provided for guests during their stay.

Further details

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on booking, with the balance due six weeks before the start of your holiday. A breakages deposit will be collected from you on arrival of GBP150 / EUR 150 which will be returned to you when you leave.

Weekly maid service is also included and a weekly change of all bed linen and towels. An English speaking management company are available for help and advice at any time during your stay. A welcome pack consisting of bread, milk, tea, coffee etc is available on request at an additional cost.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, with an average year round temperature of 22C and 3,000 hours of sunshine, making it an ideal location at any time of the year.

If you want to head outside of Caleta, there are plenty of interesting and beautiful places to visit. You can explore the sand dunes of Fuerteventura’s National Park, learn about the history of the island in Betancuria. Explore the breathtaking white sandy beaches with clear blue water at El Cotillo.

Heading South The Oasis Park Zoo is well worth a visit. Fuerteventura is also a haven for water sports enthusiasts with great diving and some of the best windsurfing (to the South) and surfing (to the North) to be had anywhere.

The Caleta de Fuste area

Caleta de Fuste is situated 10 minutes drive from the capital of Puerto del Rosario. Ideal for families, couples, golfers, friends, it has something for everyone. There are numerous fine international restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. It has a number of calm sandy beaches. There is also a main shopping centre with multiplex cinema and bowling alley.

Fuerteventura’s main golf course is a 5 minute drive away from our villa, this was home to the Spanish open in 2004. The 18 hole course is a par 71. A round of golf costs about EUR40 and golf buggies are available for hire. Despite Fuerteventura’s almost constant sunshine and little rain the golf course remains beautiful and green.

The airport in Fuerteventura is in the capital Puerto del Rosario. Caleta de Fuste is a 10 minute drive from here. Most charter airlines travel to Fuerteventura. www.cheapflights.co.uk is a good source for finding decent priced flights.

Car hire is available at the airport. I would recommend AutoReisen as their cars can be collected directly at the airport, they are also reasonably priced.

“Relaxing holiday???... Most definatly !!” This holiday was an amazing 2 weeks away with my partner and our two friends, we are in our early 30's and wanted a holiday where we could have peace and quiet but get into the pubs and restaurants quite easily and this is what we got. Hazel and Woody met us at the villa on our arrival with the keys and were very helpful in showing us around and letting us know where to go to get whet we needed. Very friendly. The villa is very clean and has everything you need. The pool is easy to access and you can see it from the back porch area. The views are amazing from the front porch as you are up a hill out of the way. We had several amazing BBQ's watching the sun go down over the bay. The pubs and restaurants are easy to get to down the bank, however it is a bit of walk getting back up, so we chose to get a taxi for a few euro's rather than walk. I would advise to hire a car to get round the island as there are some beautiful beaches and sites to see. I will definatly be returning!! Thank you

“Perfect for winter sunshine” We have used many self catering apartments and houses over the years and this is one of the best. If you are looking for a convenient, clean and well appointed rental with easy access to a beaches, golf course, restaurants and shops this is the place to be. Sunsets over the sea are magical. Sitting on the terrace after a hard day cruising along nearly empty roads, leisurely lunches in sea food seaside bars, walks across the lunar landscape to the north or browsing amongst the galleries and small museums that dot the island drinking a glass of wine...magic. We have been there for two years running and are going again in 2012. There can hardly be a better recommendation than that..

“Lovely bungalow in a fabulous location with great views.” It was easy to contact the owner to make the booking and we received an excellent welcome pack and directions. The facilities in the bungalow were better than advertised and included beach towels and a cool box with ice packs. The bungalow was spacious and has fantastic views to the front. It was very clean and the area was very quiet. It is a gentle 20 minute stroll down hill to the centre of Caletta and only three euros back in a taxi. We had a great holiday and would definately return to this bungalow.
