Our property near Caleta de Fuste has some lovely bars and restaurants catering for every taste imaginable.
Just a short stroll along the promenade (15 min walk from the apartment) leads you to the harbour with its lovely marina.

You will find lots to see and do, visit the aquarium, go on a boat trip, windsurfing, learn to scuba dive, visit the seals, to name but a few or simply just sip a cocktail in one of the many beachside bars and watch the sun go down. Car hire is cheap as are the local taxis and bus service.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the oldest Canary Island and was formed about 70 million years ago as a result of volcanic activity. Fuerteventura's modern landscape is the result of the weather on the original landscape that was created by the volcanoes.

Though there are no active volcanoes on Fuerteventura, there is abundant evidence of their presence in the topology of the island.

Caleta is situated half-way down the east coast of Fuerteventura and as such is a great place from which to explore the island. Walk along pathways between exotic volcanic cones, dive underwater or enjoy some windsurfing.

There is a weekly market held in Caleta on Saturday mornings; you can't miss it ( just follow the crowd) don't forget to haggle .You can also avail of the free bus service outside the San Jorge Hotel that will take you a 5 min journey to the new atlantico shopping centre where you will find many more shops, bars and restaurants a big Eurospar, McDonalds, cinema, bowling alley and the bank plus another lovely beach.

Caleta also boasts a fabulous championship golf course having hosted the Spanish open 2004 and is a short distance from the bungalow. You might like to take a trip to see the sand dunes at Corralejo and shop in the town, good public transport or hire a car.

How to get there

From all major UK and European cities to Puerto del Rosario Airport.

By ferry to Puerto del Rosario and Corralejo from Lanzarote.

Our bungalow is only 5 mins drive from the airport.

The twin beds go together to provide very comfortable double bed. The sofa bed is new and very comfortable and the air conditioning unit is new and functions very well.

Further details outdoors:
Patio with table and chairs, easy parking and beautiful pool.
Clients have the optional use of pools in nearby resorts for a change of scenery if desired.
