203 El Refugio is a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment situated on the first floor of a quiet road on the prestigeous Fuerteventura Golf Course. The apartment is first line golf course with views across the 18th fairway and stunning views of the sea and mountains. The apartment consists of a large sitting room/dining room, 2 double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher , 4 piece bathroom suite, large furnished balcony accessed from the master bedroom and sitting room and a totally private roof terrace to enjoy the all year round sunshine. The apartment also benefits from a shared pool with private key access for residents only, separate children's pool, 24 hour manned security and a free coach that runs throughout the day and evening to the beach, town and shopping centre. Caleta de Fuste and our apartment are just 10 minutes from the airport. We can arrange meet and greet at the airport for 25 euros return.

The Fuerteventura region
Caleta de Fuste is just 15 minutes from the airport. The town and golf course are fronted by the beach and sea and backed by rolling hills. There are over 100 beaches to visit on Fuerteventura including the famous dunes in Corralejo 30 mins drive to the north of the island. The views from the mountains are spectacular. Many beaches have wonderful sea for body boarding and surfing whilst the Sotovento beach to the south offers 25 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches.
Caleta de Fuste / Campo de Golfe area
The 18 hole championship golf course is right outside the apartment and a round of golf with your own clubs or hired ones can be arranged at the 5* hotel 2 minutes away. Summer prices - 9 holes 30 euros and 18 holes 55 euros. Club hire 20 euros (no balls or tees) trolley hire 3 euros. These prices are a guide only and may vary.
The sea surrounding Fuerteventura is ideal for body boarding, wind surfing and surfing. There is plenty to see and do including a trip to the mountains and Betancuria, the sand dunes of Corralejo or a trip to the the zoo.
How to get there
Flights to Fuerteventura are available from all main UK airports. www.cheapflights.co.uk or www.expedia.co.uk have good selections of flights. The airport in Fuerteventura is located in the capital Puerto del Rosario. Caleta de Fuste is just a 10-15 minute journey from the airport. Taxis wait right outside the terminal or you can prearrange a car to pick up at the airport. www.autoreisen.es are at the airport. There are several rental companies located at the airport itself so it is possible to arrange car hire on arrival. There is a free bus route running all day approx 2 mins from the apartment to the town which takes 5 minutes. Further details indoors: This penthouse apartment has been stylishly finished throughout. The decor is neutral and cool with tiled floors. All the furnishings have been coordinated from the pictures and mirrors through to the soft furnishings and furniture. We provide a complimentary starter pack which includes tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water etc.
Further details outdoors: There is a large balcony with views across the 18th fairway, dining table and chairs, hammock seats and fold away sunloungers. Blinds have been fitted to the open aspects which can be rolled down to create a breeze free and private area whilst still leaving views. The roof terrace has spectacular views across the golf course to the sea. There are sunloungers, side tables, barbecue and further dining facilities. This is a perfect place to perfect an all over tan in private. There is an outdoor shared swimming pool across the road from the apartment set in its own landscape garden with key only access for the residents. There are changing rooms, toilets, sun loungers, sun brollies etc with lovely views across to the mountains.
Further details
There is a free coach that runs throughout the day and evening to the beach, the town of Caleta de Fuste and the Commercial Centre. The bus runs from the 5* hotel which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment - the journey takes just 5 minutes. The Commercial Centre includes restaurants, bars, takeaways, supermarket, bank, a selection of shops and boutiques, bowling alley and cinema. The main town of Caleta de Fuste offers a stunning crescent beach with calm waters and a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops etc.
