About the home

Newly built 3 bedroom townhouse on a private gated development which can sleep upto 6 people. The property is superbly situated on this very popular complex with excellent views of the swimming pool & gardens as well as sea views from the twin bedroom balcony. Our house has been furnished to a very high standard throughout and has its own private patio with sunbeds, BBQ and tables and chairs for alfresco dining. The patio also has a lockable gate for child safety. The property also has a safe for valuables.

The house is located on a quiet private complex and is situated near the heart of Caleta De Fuste, only a 5 minute walk away from the beach and around 10 mintues to all amenities including bars & restaurants,supermarkets boutiques and gift shops as well as a 24 hour English doctors. Caleta's famous horseshoe shape beach is perfect for children with breakwaters placed to keep the waters calm and shallow making this safe for all ages to enjoy. We are situated within a 10 minute drive to both of Caleta's golf courses which includes Fuerteventura's PGA course.

Our three bedroom house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The first floor has lounge with 2 leather sofa's, tv, DVD / CD Player with a selection of DVD / CDs for your use. The fully fitted kitchen has a large fridge freezer, integrated washing machine, microwave, hob, oven and dining table with 6 chairs. On the second floor, the double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and private balcony. The twin room has fitted wardrobes with private balcony with views of the communal pool, gardens and sea. The fully fitted bathroom is also on this level with an additional wc on the lower level adjacent to the lounge. The third bedroom is located on the lower level of the house. The bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. On this level there is also a 2nd lounge area with sofa, TV / DVD and XBOX games console with a selection of games and films for children.
Please note bedroom 3 is on the ground floor and is not suitable for children under 11 years of age.

Please be advised that all bed linen and towels are provided apart from beach towels.

Travel cot and highchair are provided free of charge. Please note that we do not supply the bedding for the travel cot.

Our private patio is accessed from the kitchen and has table & chairs with parasol, BBQ and lockable gate to keep your children safe from the pool.

A £50 per week deposit is required to secure your booking.

Payment in full is required if the booking is less than 8 weeks before departure. Please note, booking cancellations less than 6 weeks prior to your arrival are non refundable.

The Fuerteventura region

The beautiful island of Fuerteventura enjoys more then 3,000 hours of sunshine every year and is the perfect holiday destination all year round. Just off the coast of Morrocco, Fuerteventura is on the same lattitude as Hawaii and Florida. Due to the trade winds the weather never becomes uncomfortable and even in peak summer you do not get the humidity you would associate with a hot country.There are over 150 beaches on the island with the sand dunes of the Natural Park in the north and the spectacular beaches of Jandin in the south. Watersports here are a must, there is everything from jet skiing, surfing and scuba diving right through to catamaran trips, dolphin and whale watching. There are 2 golf courses in Caleta one of which is a PGA course that has held the European Championship.

The Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area

Caleta is a popular tourist resort and offers everything for all ages and tastes. There are a host of great bars, restaurants, cafes and shops as well as the Saturday market.

5 minutes drive or just a short walk down the beach along the new promenade you can find the Atlantico shopping centre opposite Fuerteventura's PGA Golf Course. This large air – conditioned centre has designer clothes shops, supermarket and restaurants, amusement arcade, cinema and bowling alleys. A short walk from the centre and you are back on the beach. Here you will find some beautiful new bathing areas made around new lagoons as well as the bar El Chiringuito at the end of the pier.

Caleta's own beach, the horseshoe bay, offers a large harbour and marina with every kind of watersport from Jetski's to submarine trips. There is also a dive school and oceanarium at the harbour, as well as Harvey the local seal that puts on free perfomances for children. Around the beach area there are many other activities such as crazy golf, cycling, tennis & archery, volleyball, football and beauty spa.

There are a number of cheaper airlines that are now operating to the island and the cost of visiting Fuerteventura has become much more affordable. Some of the European airlines that operate from Fuerteventura Airport include:Air Berlin, Air Europe, Air Holland, Air Italy, Air Luxor, Air Malta, Austrian Airlines, Binter Canarias, Czech Airlines, Eurofly, Finnair, Hamburg International, Hapagfly, Iberia, Luxair, Macedonian Airlines, Nordic Airlines, Novair, and Scandinavian Airlines. You have a wide range of departure points to choose from as scheduled and charter flights to Fuerteventura can be booked from most of the UK and Ireland.

Fuerteventura is a beautiful and exciting island to explore, the only real way to see it is by using your own transport. Car hire is very popular and there are a large number of companies offering car hire.

The minimum age for driving in Spain (provided you hold a full UK license) is 18 for a car and a motorcycle over 75cc. If you have still got the old style green license you might find the police do not recognize them, so it is advisable to either get it updated or carry an International Driving Permit as well.

TAXIS:

You will find the taxi rank right in front of you as you come out of the main arrivals area from the airport terminal building, just after you have collected your cases. The Fare to Caleta should be between €10 - €14 depending on time of day.
PLEASE NOTE: The taxis can usually only carry up to 4 people and luggage.

BUSES:

When you come out of the Arrivals Hall the bus stop is to the left of the building. There are two main bus routes: the number 3 runs every 30 minutes from Puerto del Rosario to Caleta de Fuste via the airport: and the number 10 is hourly and again operates from Puerto del Rosario to the airport then to Caleta de Fuste and on to Morro Jable.

“A relaxing break” We stayed for 11 days, too which we had a fantastic relaxing break, where the kids (11 and 9) played in the pool and we could watch them from the patio if necessary. The weather was great, and the location was close enough even for any lazy child to reach the beach or restaurants at night-time. The meals at night were all great, except for one chinese buffet place which we took a chance on. We hired a Bug Convertible for a day, and was well worth a trip down the south side and back through the old capital - gotta like heights though ! Overall, a lovely place and a great break away.

Just to say we had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and immaculate throughout. You can see the sea from the house and the beach is within 10 minutes walk which was perfect for the kids, lots to keep them occupied. All the shops & amenities are within 10 mins walk. There was on site management should we need anything & the owner couldn't have been more helpful we feel like we have made a new friend. We hope to be back next year. Would definitely recommend 5 stars *****

We visited feuterventura in june for a week . We booked it last minute with the owner via email and it could not of been easier . For a hassle free week in the sun it was fantastic , from being picked up by the management team from the airport to the moment he took us back to the airport everything was great . We also had organised milk, tea , coffee and much needed squash for the kids when we arrived at the house. The house itself was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed if we wanted to stay around the lovely clean pool and cook a meal at home or a good selection of restaurants nearby to choose from if we fancied eating out . there was quite a few handy netto shops nearby for your grocerys . the beach is lovely and safe and the sea is shallow for a long way out if you want a paddle or swim. we would definetely recommend this property.

We have just returned from this fantastic holiday home in Fuerteventura (first time on the island).
The house was modern, clean and well equipped with a beautiful, quiet communal swimming pool.
We were close to the beach, shops and lots of places to eat.
Booking the house could not have been easier and transport from and to the airport with was hassle free.
We would highly recommend this property and would certainly go back.

We had a lovely lazy holiday with the girls and the girls want to come back next year - they felt it was a very safe place and loved the shopping at Atlantico and the capital.
Met many friendly people there in the complex and the girls had their photos taken with Martin Keown who happened to be there as well as Nick Hancock.
Great to know about the free bus to Atlantico shopping centre & beaches.
Didnt hire a car so didnt get to see the island but that's a good reason to go again.
Found a lovely Italian restaurant La Torre above the portuguese restaurant which we can highly recommend and to which we went three times. Shame to come back to disappointing English weather when we wanted to show off our tans!!

I stayed at the property with my husband and two children. the property is situated within walking distance to everything. the property is clean and spacious.
Calate has everything that you need. great beaches, good places to eat and lots of evening entertainment too. There is a walk to the next village/town and there is a shop called bits and pieces, they sell all english food at a resonable price. Also buy some monkey nuts and feed the chipmunks as you walk.
the weather was lovely and hot. only had one day of overcast. xmas day we sat on the beach then had our xmas dinner in the trafalgar.
we are certainly going to go back. as the complex where the property is all the people are friendly and is situated in the perfect place. .

We have just returned from Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura. This was our first time on the island and we stayed in this beautiful house very near the beach and amenities. The house looked exactly as it did in on the website, very clean and very tastefully decorated. The booking process was very easy and we were also collected at the airport and taken to the house which was just a short ride away.
We found Caleta de Fuste to be the perfect family holiday as there was so much to do. Our children loved the beach at the horse shoe bay and we shocked to see how big the beach was. They loved all the sporting facilities and there were even camel rides on the beach. We would definitely recommend this for a holiday. We had some perfect winter sunshine about 80 degrees, stunning beaches, and plenty to do. The only regret is that my husband didn’t get his game of golf in as we ran out of time. Hope to see you again next year.

Myself, my wife and my two boys aged 4 & 7 had a great week (In October) staying in this modern apartment. The location is very convinient with shops, restaurants and the local beach within walking distance. The apartment was spotless and situated in a quiet friendly complex. The two story set up worked well for us as we could put the boys to bed and relax downstairs without disturbing them. The poll area is lovely and overall I couldn't fault the accomadation.

Hi , I just wanted to thank you for the use of your wonderful home. We had a fantastic time and the weather was perfect, a real tonic. Your house is in a ideal position on a lovely clean, friendly complex just out of town but close to everything including the beautiful beach. Thank you again for the advice about the free bus service, Andrew used it to get to the golf course. We can accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or credit card (3% fee). The prices quoted per week are for occupancy of 4 guests. Occupancy of 1-4 guests will have the use of 2 bedrooms on the upper level, which is 1 x double room and 1 x twin room. Occupancy of 5-6 guests will have the full use of all 3 bedrooms and will be charged at a supplement of £30 pp per week for the 5th&6th person only.

£125.00 breakage deposit is required. This is payable with the final balance and will be refunded at the end of the holiday subject to an inventory of contents. In the unlikely event of damages / breakages, customers will be liable to the full replacement cost of the damaged or missing item (s).

We do not take responsibility for any loss, injury or accident whether personal or otherwise suffered by you while staying at the property and recommend you take out suitable insurance before travelling.
