This is duplex style apartment with out door patio area leading into the living area whare you will find satalite tv plus a dvd player some dvds which you are welcome to use there is also a large sofa bed and coffee table . Should you need to cool down there is also a large ceiling fan and free standing fan in the living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need and has a breakfast bar we have also added a mini oven and grill for your convenience along with a small separate utility area where you have the washing machine and mops brooms ect, there is also a downstairs wc.
Upstairs you have the double bedroom that has twin beds that can be easily converted to a double, a lovely room that has its own private sunny balcony where you can sit and relax over a glass of wine , you will find plenty of storage space in the double fitted wardrobe with shelving and hanging space (hangers provided) you also have the safe in the wardrobe and a hairdryer. Celing Fan and stand alone fan in this room aslo for your comfort '
All linen and towels are provided(EXCEPT BEACH TOWELS) a midweek change of bedding and towels is provided when a two week stay is booked , free of charge .
The bathroom has both bath and shower was hand basin and toilet.

Sunbeds and cushions are provided on the private balcony just off the bedroom ( please dont remove them from the apartment)
The complex has recently completed a lovely new pool together with childrens pool opened in September 2010. Lots of sunbeds are available around the pool , and the sun terrace which gets the evening sun . The main Complex doors are also locked overnight .
As this a private home , please note that we do not have hotel facilities , such as reception , lifeguard or security , all children must be supervised by the guest at all times .if you wish to hire a car , we have street parking ront and rear of the complex

This is a no smoking apartment , We have provided an information folder in the apartment and would ask guests to take the time to read carefully as it will provide you with some helpful information. We do have a travel cot , but you will need your own bedding for the cot .
We have English speaking management who are on hand( should you have a problem with anything in the apartment) We can give you contact details of airport transfers (charge locally €14 each way also english speaking , or you will find local taxi's just outside the airport doors .
Conditions
A non refundable booking deposit of €50 for each week booked is requested at at time of booking with the balance due eight weeks prior to arrival date. Please note you will need to contact us for discounted prices if you want longer than a two week stay .
We will also require a signed booking form to be sent with the deposit which we will email or post to you at the time of your inquiry We do not take a safety deposit, but we would kindly ask that our guests inform our management of any accidents that occur so that we can discuss payment of same (if any) prior to departure so we have a chance to repair or replace before the next arrivals . We kindly ask parents of young children that they supervise them at all times both inside and outside the apartment .

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is off the coast off Africa explaining its all year round sunshine with tempatures ranging from 20 to 30degress .
Caleta de Fuste is on the east coast of the Island.
In the north is the larger resort of Carralejo with beautiful white sandy beaches and a recently opened water park plus wildelife park you can also take a boat trip from here to the neighbouring Island of Lanzarote.
The Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area
Caleta de fuste has some lovely bars and restaurants catering for every taste imaginable.
Just a short strool along the promanade ( 1 min from the apartment ) leads you to the harbour with its lovely marina you will find lots to see and do , visit the aquarium, go on a boat trip, windsurfing, learn to scubadive, visit the seals, to name but a few or simply just sip a cocktail in one of the many beachside bars and watch the sun go down. Car hire is cheap as are the local taxis and bus service.
There is a weekly market held in Caleta on saturday mornings you cant miss it ( just follow the crowd) dont forget to haggle .You can also avail of the free bus service accross the street from the apartment outside the San Jorge Hotel that will take you on a short journey to the new atlantico shopping centre whare you will find many more shops bars and restaurants a big eurospar, Mc donalds, cinema, bowling alley and a bank plus another lovely beach. Caleta also boasts a fabulous championship golf coursce having hosted the spanish open 2004 and is a short distance from the apartment.
A pharmacry and medical centre are only 5mins walk away from our apartment as is an ATM machine and supermarket

Guestbook for Castillo Mar
Not people who like commercial sun, sea, and sand holidays, but this is not a criticism. Caleta took us by surprise having stayed in Castillo Mar twice now, we are planning a return trip because its a small complex with pool, and a lovely coastline beautiful walks and most important fab restaurants eg, La Fuenta, Fado Rock, The Mexican to name a few. The apartment is equipped to a very high standard in a private location.

We found the apartment very clean and modern and was like a home from home. Lots of clean towels, sheets and a washing machine which comes in handy with 3 children. The complex is very clean and quite and is well maintained. The apartment is very well situated being less than 10 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach with local bars and restaurants only minutes away also.
I highly recommend this apartment and Caletta de Fuste for a relaxing stay , very safe and suitable for children.

Just back from our stay in this lovely apartment , my only complaint is that we are not still there . We have been going to Caletta 3 or 4 times a year for the last 12 years and will continue to do so hopefully all future stay's in this apartment. This apartment is perfectly situated, spotlessly clean and has all anyone could want . I would recommend this apartment to anyone "except for the weeks I want to go".

Just back from our three week's stay in your really lovely apartment. Now we don't want to say to much about it because we want to keep it a secret it was that good!! It ticked all our boxes but we must be fair and share. The apartment was spot on the bed's, well we have never slept so sound, and the sun balcony was a dream it got the sun from 8/45 am till 1600/hrs it was sheer bliss and so quiet and your sun bed's were so comfy. We were looked after right down to the non slip mat in the bath, you have thought of everything.
This apartment and it's location is spot on for everything and all so easy, shop's, supermarket's, restaurant's and the walk's along side the Atlantic are just breath taking.
We would recommend this apartment to all who are looking for a superb and hassle free break
All we can say is it's been FAB U LOUS and we will be back. That's for sure

After getting back from our fantastic stay in Caletta ,we couldn't have been more lucky missing all that horrendous weather,every single bit of it.
With Temps of 27 degrees and I think lowest was about 23 degrees during day times.
We can't thank you enough for the first class service we have received from first booking your apartment through to the end of the stay ,all your correspondence because it was so accurate and to detail made it all plain sailing.
Your apartment is so lovely and a credit to you both,as has been said before it was like home from home with everything provided,it also is in a great position with most things within easy walking distance.
We would recommend anybody to book and stay at this apartment,and we certainly hope we are fortunate enough to stay again ourselves in the not to distant future.

Hi Joan
I just wanted to put a few words on an email about our holiday as promised.
We really had a lovely time. The apartment is really ideally situated. Very close to the restaurants and shops yet in a quiet area. It is also so handy for the beach and that lovely long walk up to Nuevo Horizonte which we did several times during our stay, stopping to feed the gorgeous chipmunks along the way. I must send you some pics. (My husband is presently calling me ‘the chipmunk whisperer!J). I LOVED them!
The apartment is very well equipped and the washing machine was a godsend! Another thing that I liked was that with the bedroom being upstairs, it gave the illusion of space which is a real change from most hotel rooms that you might stay in. We sat outside on the patio most nights and enjoyed a few glasses of chilled white before we headed out to sample the restaurants in the area, which may I say are many and varied which was great.
One last thing, the complex itself is quiet and safe and the pool area is ideal for chilling out and reading books which is exactly what I did.
All in all, a lovely holiday was had by both of us however it all seems so long ago now that I am back at work. What is it they say…….. ‘no rest for the wicked’?! Who knows, maybe I will get a week off later in the season and might be in touch to revisit 41 Castillo Mar!

Having been to 41 Castillo Mar twice this year we can highly recommend it as a place to stay in Caleta! The apartment is extremely homely and comfortable. The pool area is never too busy and there are plenty of sunloungers. We love pottering around in Caleta and Castillo Mar is in a brilliant location to explore. Out of the front of the complex, cross over the road and you are on the coastal path which is well worth a wander. The chipmunks are a particular highlight! The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and bars/restaurants are a plenty within a short distance also. Thank you
