About the home

The property is located in a peaceful area of Caleta de Fuste. It comprises 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1twin), lounge with sofa bed, fully fitted and equipped kitchen,and bathroom with bath/shower.

There are terraces to the front and rear of the villa. There is a private pool at the rear of the property within a large walled, private garden area with stone built BBQ. Stairs lead to a private roof terrace with sea and mountain views. A real sun trap for topping up your tan.

The villa well presented and has been recently decorated throughout. The accommodation can sleep up to 6 people (sofa bed in the lounge area) and has fitted wardrobes in all bedrooms. The lounge/dining area has a television with UK channels and DVD player. There are 2 bedrooms,1 double and 1 twin. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering break. The bathroom is fully tiled with bath/shower over, WC, basin and bidet.

Further details outdoors:
At the front of the property is a walled terrace area. Stairs lead to a very sunny roof terrace with sun and mountain views. At the rear of the property is a large,private terrace area with a private pool. The pool retains good heat all year round and is ideal for children as it is not deep. There is a pool cover to keep it warm and clean when not in use. A stone built BBQ is also in this area plus sunbeds and outdoor furniture.

The development is very safe for children as there are only walk ways between the villas and traffic is not allowed. There is plenty of parking allocated to the development and the villa is close to this.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura enjoys year round sunshine and a diverse landscape, from the sand dunes of the north and south of the island to the rugged mountains of the interior.

The island has much to offer, including great beaches, watersports & golf.

Whether your looking to relax & unwind or explore a little then the island has something to offer for all the family.

Fuerteventura also offers plenty of 'Naturist Friendly' Beaches.

You can enjoy the long stretches of sandy beaches, try your hand at windsurfing, hop on a quad or a trike, visit La Lajita Zoo, enjoy a camel ride, have a fun filled day in the water part or while away the hours with a few rounds of golf. (we now have three 18 hole & one nine hole golf course).

Dont forget for those who want to see a little more of the Canary Islands, Lanzorote is just a short boat trip away from the harbour in the resoert of Corralejo.

A car is not always essential for your holiday, but you might like to hire one for a few days to explore more of the island. Alternativley a frequent & reliable bus service can take you to the main parts of the island.

The Caleta de Fuste area

Caleta de Fuste is a popular tourist resort on the east coast of the island. The resort offers plenty for all ages. There are good bars, restaurants and shops to suit everyone's taste. Caleta de Fuste is a very family friendly resort with a wide range of activities to suit all age groups. The gently sloping, horseshoe shaped beach is very safe for swimming. The harbour is a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon, watching the world go by. There is an oceanarium in the harbour area and a submarine and catamaran, where trips can be arranged for a spot of dolphin or whale watching, and exploring the under-sea world of the Canaries.
The harbour area is also home to lots of watersports including scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing and more. There are restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets and children are always main welcome. The nearby Altantico Centre houses a cinema, 10 pin bowling alley and boutique style shops. The prestigious Fuerteventura golf course is located in Caleta de Fuste, also now next door is Las salinas 18 hole course- so be sure to bring your handicap certificate! To the south of the island there is a zoo and botanical gardens and to the north, the newly built Baku centre houses a wildlife park, water park and amusement areas.
Caleta is a great central resort for those wanting to explore the island, the north and south both being just 45 minutes drive away. It also benefits from being just a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Fuerteventura now has many airlines flying frequently to the island. Flights are available with Fly Thomas Cook, First Choice, Monarch, Easyjet and Ryan Air.

Taxis are readily available at the airport. Car hire and private transfers can be booked on-line.

We really enjoyed our stay in villa Francesca, lovely and clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Our girls loved the pool and we felt like we had been there a month by the end of our stay – a real break. Everything from the transfer to the villa, the location and the service excellent. The villa and pool everything we needed very child friendly and very clean.


The villa was spacious and very clean. We especially enjoyed the pool. Because we are non-swimmers the constant 1 metre depth was ideal for us. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday and would book this holiday again. August 2008.
