This is a peaceful two-bedroom luxury apartment (with gardens front and back -feels more like a villa!). Just one of four apartments at this peaceful, prestigious location. Easy access to beautiful, child-friendly sandy beaches and lagoons of Caleta de Fuste. Overlooking the quiet , uncrowded, shared private swimming pool and children’s shallow pool (shared by just a small number of apartments) and ajoining the 18th fairway of prestigious Championship golf course, with the ocean just beyond.

Imagine playing golf in sun and warmth year-round? You can at Casa F!!! The Five star Fuerteventura Golf club (18th fairway) adjoins Casa Felicidad garden. Plus new neighbouring Salinas De Antigua Golf Course now also available. Reasonable green fees. Enjoy this superb, peaceful location that enjoys stunning westerly mountain views yet is central for beach and excellent restaurants/entertainment. Glorious sunrises and sunset views. Nearby health spa,(chocolate massage sounds fun!) Ideal location for exploring the beautiful island of Fuerteventura: windsurfing locally and at fabulous beaches of Costa Calma, Corralejo water park, day trips Los Lobos/Lanzarote. Family owned, Casa Felicidad has a bright and pretty spacious master bedroom with kingsize bed. Patio doors to covered verandah and garden. TVDVD//video. Ceiling fan. Enjoy fabulous views of the sun rising out of the ocean without even leaving your bed. Attractive built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space and drawers.

Second bedroom with two full-size single beds, ceiling fan. Fully glazed door to front garden, patio and hot tub. Plenty of storage space - built in wardrobes. Travel cot and bedding provided free.

Comfy beds (made up with duvets and quality linen and bed covers) await your arrival.

Delightfully sunny pretty L shaped dining room/lounge with patio doors to covered verandah and gated gardens. Comfortable sofa bed - can be single or double. 28 inch Satellite TV/DVD (over 25 channels in English). Selection of DVDs/CDs/books/cards/PS2 and games for your enjoyment.

Sunny fully fitted kitchen with all you need to be at home. Cooker, generous sized oven, 4 ring halogen hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, cafettiere, etc., and door to garden. We've tried to think of everything you'd need from the teapot right down to the garlic crusher so you're totally at home!

We have arranged for FREE broadband internet access to be instantly available for all our guests and have even provided a small desk for your lap top so you can sit in comfort and take care of any business/pleasure that calls!!

Hair dryer, Safe, bath, hand and beach towels provided.

Large bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
Kitchen: Full size Oven , 4 ring hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, electric juicer, toaster, cafetierre,.

Picture yourself relaxing in your gorgeous, bubbling hot tub just for your exclusive use on your sunny patio. Soak your cares away whilst enjoying the stunning views of sunset over the desert mountains - heaven! Fragrant gardens to front and rear filled with vibrant bourganvillia and hibiscus. Barbecue. Table, chairs, sun loungers with cushions. Parasol. Huge (at least 75 feet long x 30 feet wide) uncrowded shared privately owned, gated swimming pools - "virtually had the pool to ourselves" commented one of our guests.- just half a dozen paces from the front gate. Large children's pool too and beautiful, landscaped sun terraces that catch the sun all day long, free loungers and parasols.

Conditions

Casa Felicidad is all on one level so ideal for anyone with some mobility problems. We have taken Terry's mum who uses a wheelchair (she had a great time) which was not a problem. However, we don't have a hoist for bath etc., so some mobility is necessary.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is an ancient island and well worth exploring. It has a fascinating history. Drive half an hour West from Casa Felicidad, to historic Bettancuria, the old capital from where you can take the scenic route through the mountains to other coast of this narrow island and enjoy the utterly unspoilt landscape.
This is a romantic island that’s perfect for star gazing!

Alternately take the route South for ¾ hour to the Costa Calma beaches, fantastic windsurfing in the turquoise ocean, kite-surfing on the vast expanse of stunning white sand, Oasis Park for camel rides cactus and zoo, go-karts nearby . Corralejo - Las Dunas National Park, boat trips to Lobos, Lanzarote – three quarters hour North by car, enjoying the sight of the emerald and sapphire ocean all the way – beats the M25 any day!!.

The Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area

Fuerteventura basks in the warmth of equatorial sun but is bathed by sea breezes that keep the temperatures extremely pleasant all year round. Casa Felicidad is near the sea and splendid, uncrowded, sandy beaches of Caleta de Fuste – great for children of all ages! Adjacent to fabulous championship Golf Course based at 5 Star Elba Palace Hotel. Also close to windsurfing, diving, sailing, quad bikes, walking, tennis, health spa.

Amazing selection of excellent restaurants in Caleta – there’s something for every taste and pocket plus; Tapas bars, ice-cream parlour, scrummy hot crepes, (you could choose a different restaurant each night and there'd still be plenty to try next time you visit). English speaking chemist and doctor. Sky TV Sports bars (favourite overlooking the cliff walk) . Internet cafe. 5 minutes by car to nearest beaches, ocean and lagoons. 25 mins stroll to beach, Atlantico shopping centre well stocked Eurospar and complex. There's a free bus every hour to the Shopping Centre and Caleta town, which leaves from the golf club 3 mins walk away. Local Spanish people very friendly and speak good English.

Fabulous cliff top walk starts from the charming marina where you can catch the catamaran for stunning coastal voyages. You’ll feel 'glad to be alive', refreshed by ozone and rejuvenated from watching the dazzling emerald ocean tipped with a million dancing diamonds. Cheeky chipmunks dart out from the rocks to see if you have any peanuts whilst egrets stand aloof distancing themselves from such wanton forwardness. Stroll South towards Las Salinas and explore the craggy shore where local fishermen cast their lines. Check out the fossilised sand and enormous whale skeleton, amazing! I love this place. Treat yourself to a meal (excellent fresh fish and garlic prawns) or a drink at the only bar by the Salt Museum on the tiny beach which is also perfect for children, rock pools at low tide.

Getting to Casa Felicidad is easy. Airlines fly from many UK airports to Fuerteventura. We''ve often used Flightline to find the best value flights. They check what's available from a huge range of travel firms to give you the best price - often with last minute bargains.

The flight is often less than four hours long. Fuerteventura Airport is small, clean, modern and the staff helpful.

We find hiring a car is a cheap and easy way to get around. There’s so much to see on this beautiful island it seems a shame not to explore

Petrol is CHEAP compared to UK and traffic on the roads light. Hire cars can be picked up at the one of the desks at the airport and dropped off there on your return. We find it cheaper if you book on line before you arrive. We’ve frequently used Auto-Reisen and been very happy with their reliable service: www.autoreisen.es

If you want to hire a car for a day or two during your holiday it 's possible to arrange this through one of the local hotels for pick up in Caleta.

If you don’t want to hire a car, there are a large number of modern taxis available at the airport. The fare for the short drive (10 – 15 minutes) to Casa Felicidad should cost approximately 12-15 euros.

Beach, shops and Caleta are all within walking distance but it can get hot for your little feet!

Taxis from the centre of Caleta to Casa Felicidad cost approximately 3 euros. Very convenient.

There is also a free bus to the Atlantico Shopping Centre, the beach and into Caleta town. This leaves hourly, during the day, from the Elba Palace Hotel, which is just around the corner from Casa Felicidad.

For travelling around the island local buses are cheap, modern and clean.
