Home description
Lovely 3 bed villa furnished to a high standard including all the latest mod cons expected in a first class holiday home. Just a 10 minute drive from the airport. The villa is in a quiet location on the prestigious Fuerteventura Golf Resort near Caleta de fuste, and enjoys fabulous views across the Golf Course to the sea beyond. The beaches of Caleta are within easy distance, as are a large selection of shops and restaurants.
The villa has 3 bedrooms, one with kingsize bed, plus two twin rooms. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers and fans. The house has a large shady terrace with bbq perfect for al fresco dining and is situated on a large plot with beautifully landscaped secure and private gardens. There is also a large sunny sunbathing area with sunbeds.

The Fuerteventura region
The largest of the Canary Islands yet the least developed in terms of tourism, Fuerteventura enjoys an embient temperature all year round. We recommend a visit to the dunes at Corralejo, the beaches at Sotovento in the South of the Island, El Cotillo (a surfing village on the North Coast), Betancuria (the ancient capital of Fuerteventura), the water park at Corralejo.
Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area
Villa Golf y Mar is just 2 kms from the very safe sandy beach and marina/port area at El Castillo where there are a wide variety of watersports available, including pedalo/jetski hire, boat trips dolphin spotting. 2kms from Caleta's wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. 3 minutes walk to the Golf Club House which is located in a 5 star hotel. Guests at the villa can also enjoy many of the facilities on offer in the Hotel, e.g. tennis, spa, jacuzzi, gym etc (fee payable). 1.5kms from a large Commmercial centre containing, cinema, bowling alley, upmarket shops, restaurants and a 4 star hotel. How to get there
Many charter companies operate to Fuerteventura airport from a variety of UK airports. Thomas Cook, First Choice, Air 2000, Skytravel. Alternatively try cheapestflight.co.uk for internet offers.
Villa Golfymar is 10 kms from the airport, and taxis are easily obtainable on arrival.
Car hire is available from a wide variety of companies in Caleta de Fuste, and you can arrange to collect at the airport on arrival if wished. Car hire costs vary between Euro 100 - Euro 200 per week, dependant on time of year.

Further details indoors: Villa Golf y Mar is furnished to a high standard. The entrance to the property is via double gates accessed via intercom. Off road parking for one vehicle.
The house has a large terrace (facing East/South/West) with seating for 6 plus barbecue - ideal for enjoying the spectacular Canarian weather, and listening to the clink of golf ball on driver from the 18th tee. A further flat terraced area provides a lovely spot in which to sunbathe and soak up the sun, with 4 sunbeds. Upstairs balcony enjoying great views of the golf course and sea off the master bedroom. Further balcony off 2nd bedroom with gets the late afternoon/evening sun and has great views of the mountains at the rear.

Shared communal pool in landscaped gardens situated just 75 metres from the villa. The pool has showering and toilet facilities and has ample sunbeds provided by the Community.
The house is located adjacent to the 18th tee and is just a 5 minute stroll from the Club House located in the luxurious 5* Elba Palace Golf Hotel. A free courtesy bus service is provided from the Golf Hotel to Caleta de Fuste and the Atlantico Shopping Mall. The Mall with exclusive stores, supermarket, bowling alley, cinema, plus lagoon beaches, bars and restaurants is within 15 minutes walk of the villa.
Fuerteventura boats the finest beahces of all the Canary Islands - fantastic sand dunes, and is one of the most popular destinations for Wind and Kite Surfers. The Island has a great deal to offer, visit the Oceanarium at the Harbour and feed the fish, sail on a catamaran, swim with the dolphins, take surfing or scuba diving lessons, camel riding, quad bike hire, go karting, fabulous water park.

Further details outdoors: Caleta de Fuste is a lovely family resort. Very safe horseshoe shaped sandy beach, ideal for young children. Watersports are available at the bustling marina, including water skiing, fishing, boat hire etc. Dolphins are often sighted further out to sea so a boat trip from the marina is highly recommended.
There are a number of excellent bars and restaurants in the town, and a visitors book at the house provides details of those we recommend. Nightlife in the town is generally low key (no late night clubs etc). Good quality family entertainment can be found in the hotels.
The house is adjacent to the golf course, which was home to the Spanish Open Championship in 2004. Green fees at the Golf club are currently in the region of £40 per 18 holes, although discount applies for 9 holes. Tee times can be booked in advance. The Golf Club is located in the 5* Elba Palace Golf Hotel and guests at the villa may avail themselves of many of the facilities in the hotel - bars, restaurants, gym (fee payable), tennis (fee payable).
Further afield, we recommend a trip to the dunes at Corralejo, the beaches on the Southern tip of the island at Jandia, the zoo at Lajares, go-karting, etc. An Island Guide at the villa provides details of all these and more..
