The private AmuleyMar complex is centrally located within Caleta de Fuste, being no more than a 5 minute walk from local shops, varied restaurants and the large manmade beach. The beach has been designed to avoid currents and is therefore enjoyed by all ages with beach volleyball courts and football pitches alongside large areas of sunbathing. It's harbour is also the home of many watersports eg diving windsurfing jet skis and to Harvey the Sea Lion and his friends.
For those wanting to get out and about, we'd also recommend the local golf courses (5 minute drive), the mountains, beachs and coastline, ten-pin bowling (5 min bus or drive), the water park (30-40 minute bus or drive) or the zoo (30 minutes bus or car).

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura benefits from all year round sun and makes it an enjoyable place to visit whatever you're looking for.
For the sun worshippers, there are plenty of local beaches to relax, swim, read or whatever takes your fancy! For those wanting to stay cooler, we'd recommend exploring into the mountains and some of the inland villages that are entirely unspoilt and extremely picturesque. If you're looking for golf, there are two courses in Caleta and others on the island. If you just want to relax, we'd recommend a visit to one of the two local spa's.
Last but not least, for the younger visitors, there's La Lahita zoo to the south and the Baku Water park to the north. There are buses running to both and each provide a fun-filled day out.
Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area

There are also many watersports available from here - diving, windsurfing, jet skis, etc.
Fopr local entertainment, the local market is held on a Saturday and is worth the experience! There are also two crazy golf courses along the coastline of Caleta that a great way to while away an afternoon. We'd also recommend trying one of the many boat trips that are available from the marina - if only to meet Harvey the Sea Lion and his friends!
Also accessible either by a 30 minute walk or a short (currently free) bus ride is the Atlantico centre which houses a 10pin bowling alley, cinema, supermarket and shops.
How to get there
The simplest option to reach Fuerteventura is to fly into Puerto del Rosario, the island's capital and main airport (FUE). Many airlines operate twice-weekly here include Thomas Cook, Xl, Ryan Air, Aer Lingus, Thomson, Monarch etc. Flying times from the UK vary from 3.45 hours to 4.25 hours - depending on which way the wind is blowing as much as anything!
Alternatives are to fly with BA or Iberia via Madrid or to another Canary Island and then catch a local flight or ferry to Fuerteventura but we would recommend flying directly.
Car Hire companies available at Fuerteventura airport include the main names such as Hertz and Avis, alongside the local company Cicar (Canary Islands Car Hire - www.cicar.com). Their intial quote will be comparative to the main companies but each varies in the amount they charge for extra's such as child seats, second drivers and additional insurance if you travel over to Lanzarote - so make sure you compare total quotes!

Further details indoors: Each bedroom has separately-controlled air conditioning and the two top floor bedrooms have balconies. The top floor also has the family bathroom (including hairdryer). The third bedroom is on the bottom floor, has an en suite shower room and hairdryer. There is also a king size sofa-bed in the living room that can be used should the party be 7 or 8 people. The middle floor has the living room, kitchen and cloakroom. The living room includes Satellite TV, CD/HiFi, DVD player and a selection of games. The kitchen has hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, toaster kettle, etc and leads out to the patio area.
The property has use of the shared swimming pool on the complex and we provide our own sun loungers, chairs, umbrella etc to avoid any shortages!
Further details outdoors: Our house has a private patio area containing our garden furniture and drying facilities for any washing. This in turn leads out to the shared gardens and spacious pool area of the complex.

All bookings will be confirmed by our info pack and then met on arrival, either at the airport or the house, by our local (English) property managers. They will then show you the basics as well as being able to answer any questions on the local area. Our managers are also your point of contact for any enquiries during your stay.
Basic supplies will be provided on arrival (water, milk, toilet rolls!) and others can be added if requested.
Kind-sized sofa bed can be used if required and arranged in advance.
Conditions
25% deposit required to secure dates of booking. Balance is due 6-8 weeks prior to departure and should include a £100 damages deposit - this is refundable within 14 days of your return (subject to satisfactory property inspection)
