The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the oldest Canary Island, and was formed about 70 million years ago as a result of volcanic activity. Fuerteventura's modern landscape is a result of the weathering of the original landscape that was created by the volcanoes. Though you will not find an active Fuerteventura volcano, there is abundant evidence of their presence in the topology of the island. Fuerteventura is the most easterly of the Canary islands and is only 60 miles from the coast of Morocco. The geographical position of Fuerteventura means that for many tens of thousands of years sand from the Sahara has been deposited on Fuerteventura's shores. The result of this process is 125 miles of some of the world's best beaches.
Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area
Caleta has been created around the original cove, because this offered a safe, sheltered environment for beach activities. Caleta is Spanish for cove and a fuste is
Caleta has a safe familty friendly beach which is big enough to relax on or play sports.
The beach gently slopes to the sea which is cordoned off to stop anything else entering close to shore. This beach s about 5 minues walk away. The sea path and cliffs are within 150m of the house although local amenities are close by(3-4mins) the house is in a peaceful location on the boundary of 'green belt' so there is no building next door to spoil uninterupted views of sea from one balcony and mountains from the other.
A short free bus ride away of taxi if you want to pay is the atlantico centre which houses larger supermarket and local shops and banks, this must not be confused with shopping centres in the uk, it does have bowling and cinema as well as a beach just outside.
Championship golf couse is also on this bus route.
Thalassotherapy spa also a 5 min walk
How to get there
Taxi for the airport can be arranged for around 10 euros and take 10mins at the most

If you do require extra cleans and towel change please let me know this is the same with high chairs and cots
