About the home

This fully furnished new duplex style property is situated on the Costa Golf 2 Complex in the peaceful resort of Costa de Antigua which is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. The modern complex has communal gardens and two large swimming pools. We have a private patio with a table, chairs and sun beds; in addition we have a BBQ for those evenings when you may want to relax with a glass of wine.
A 10 minutes walk to the new promenade which has breath taking views of the Atlantic ocean will take you to the larger resort of Costa Caleta. (Don't forget to buy a bag of peanuts to feed the chipmunks!) Here you will find a good selection of shops, bars & restaurants as well as the beautiful golden horse shoe beach and a championship golf course.
If the walk doesn't appeal you could always use a taxi which will cost 3 euros or there is a free courtesy bus which stops just outside the complex and takes you to the Atlantico Shopping Centre in Costa Caleta.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands where you will find golden sand dunes contrasting against a mountainous interior all drenched in all year round sunshine. The island boasts some of the best wind surfing beaches to the north at Corralejo and a wonderful theme park to the south at La Lajita.

The Caleta de Fuste / Costa de Antigua area

This part of Fuerteventura is ideal for families and couples. It has a charm of it’s own and has a very friendly atmosphere. At Costa Caleta (previously known as Caleta de Fuste) you will find an attractive harbour, a wonderful beach where you can watch the sand engravers at work or partake in the water sports on offer, and a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. At the Atlantico shopping precinct you will find a selection of shops including a large supermarket, great shoe shops, ten pin bowling and a cinema.
Those looking forward to a game of golf will also find the very popular Championship Golf Course. For the bargain hunters there is the Saturday market. Cost de Antigua is located a couple of kilometres along the coast from Costa Caleta and the resorts are linked by a wonderful promenade along the coastline. Costa Antigua is a much smaller resort and for a quiet night take a relaxing 5 minutes stroll to one of the local restaurants or bars.

“A real Home from Home with sunshine” After a short taxi ride from the airport we arrived at Casa Sarah, which was spotlessly clean and equipped with absolutely everything we needed, a real home from home. It is situated in a quiet location with beautiful communal gardens, we also very much enjoyed the use of the swimming pool which we had to ourselves most days. We found bars and restaurants nearby and enjoyed the walk along the excellent coastal path to the beautiful beaches of Caleta, which we found was also reachable by free bus during the day and reasonably priced taxi's in the evening. Ten out of Ten - we will certainly book again. Linda and Paul, Leicestershire.

“Perfect choice holiday home” Hi all, we stayed at this wonderful house for 2 weeks in august 2011 and it is absolutely perfect, the house is very modern, clean and comfortable. It is extra well equipped with everything needed to make it perfect, I brought my own hairdryer, teatowels, pegs etc because i learned from previous experience to do so but this time i did`nt even need to unpack them! The pool and garden area are spotless clean and very well cared for, The weather was glorious and i have absolutely no crititisms to say about this accomadation. The agent called sue is lovely and pointed us in the right direction for bus/taxi, restaurants, pubs etc. My husband and myself and our 2 young sons throughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning again, thank you so much, Linda and Joe Harrington
