About the home

Brand new 3 bedroom airconditioned townhouse, sleeps 7. Set in a peaceful and convenient location on an exclusive development, 2 mins walk from the sea and 5 mins walk to a golden sandy beach. Built on 3 levels, offering 2 lounges 2 bathrooms and 3 W.Cs, furnished to a very high standard and overlooking landscaped gardens and lovely large communal pool. Fully fitted kitchen/diner leading to private patio with patio table and chairs and sunbeds. We have provided a DVD player, TV with Freeview and movie channels, CD player and playstation 2 for your entertainment and hope you will enjoy our house in the sun as much as we do!

Furnished throughout to a very high standard and with air conditioning. Built on 3 levels, mid level consists of spacious lounge area with 2 leather sofas and dining table with 7 table settings. For your entertainment we provide TV with Freeview + Movie channels, DVD player with an up to date selection of DVDs, CD Player and Playstation 2 for the kids (and the kids in all of us), cloak room with toilet and handbasin. Fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, full oven, microwave, full sized fridge/freezer, washing machine and table and chairs. Leads to a private patio with patio table and chairs and sunbeds.
Upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms with private balconies, one with partial sea view and double bed, the other with twin beds and a generous family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. Lower floor consists of second lounge leading to twin bedroom (beds can be pushed together as headboards are not fixed) with en suite shower room and toilet (available for bookings of 5+) . An additional full sized single foldaway bed is available.
A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided for your convenience. Cot and high chair available. White cotton sheets and towels are provided.

Further details outdoors:
Private patio area leading to landscaped gardens and large communal pool. 100 metres from sea and coastal walk and 5 mins to a sandy beach. A cycle track can be followed along the beach and cycles can be hired very cheaply. There is a Thalassotherapy centre at the beach offering beauty treatments and massage. The harbour is easily reached offering boat trips and opportunities for diving, windsurfing and fishing. The PGA golf course is closeby. 3 min walk to find a colourful array of restaurants offering international cuisine including, Canarian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Portuguese, Greek and British cooking.
Town house located 12mins drive from the airport .Taxi fare from airport approximately 12 euros.

The Fuerteventura region

With 50 kilometres of fine white sand, Fuerteventura has the biggest selection of beaches of all the Canary islands. There are a total of 152 beaches. Some are wild and lonely like something from Robinson Crusoe while others bustle with tourist activity. Caleta de Fueste is well positioned for exploring all of the island and is only a short transfer from the airport. There is plenty to do there for young and old or just relax on the beautiful sandy beaches in the sun...

The Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area

Ideal for families and couples, Caleta de Fuste has a great climate all year long. The sheltered sandy beach is safe for bathers of all ages. For the more adventurous, windsurfing, diving and jet ski-ing are available for hire and the harbour has it's own Oceanarium with Harley the seal in residence. Boat and catarmaran trips are available to see whales and dophins and also deep sea fishing. Good amentities available for eating out with a variety of good restaurants and plenty of supermarkets and gift shops. Lovely coastal walk and cycling path. 18 hole PGA golf course 1.5 kilometeres away. Cinema complex and 10 pin bowling at the Atlantico Centre. Local Saturday outdoor market.

“Large villa, lovely pool, great value” We travelled as a group of 5 girls and this was perfect. The house was really big, with 3 toilets, 2 showers and 2 living rooms! The pool is big and very close, and you can get to the beach in 10minutes. There are lots of places to eat - you have to look a little harder to find the Spanish ones but they are there and some are very good! There are trips available locally (eg. Boat trips, snorkelling, horse-riding), some decent bars, and supermarkets near by to stock up. Very good value, perfect for a fun holiday in the sun.

“A beautiful house ideally situated in a great resort suitable for both young and old alike” My partner, I and our 3 year old daughter stayed here in February of this year and we all couldn't of been happier!! The town house was so welcoming, homely and spotlessley clean as well as being very spacious for the three of us. As soon as we collected our luggage we walked out to an abundance of taxi's just waiting to take us to our 'new home for the week' ! It cost us no more than12 euros (including a tip) and quite literally dropped us to the front door. On venturing out we were very pleased to find that everything was close by and the short walk to the lovely harbour and beach was delightful. After feeding the fish for pennies (an experience not to be missed) from a jetty on the Marina we found an ideal spot ,one of the Barcelo hotels, to sit where my daughter could play in the kids pool as well as enjoying the adventure playground situated next to each other where we had a buffet lunch and a drink from their cafe bar facilities which became our regular hang out The resort really caters for children as I couldn't even count the amount of play areas suitable for them although couples are more than looked after with lots of cafe bars, pubs and entertainment, all at reasonable prices. Eating out is just as good, we didn't have a bad meal out there and you don't have to go looking as they are on your doorstep. Its well worth doing the full walk around the horse shoe promenade and if you go that extra bit further around the corner the beaches are even better with a great shopping centre) the Spar supermarket is very cheap so try to go there at the beginning of your holiday to stock up on any essentials you might need and if you don't fancy carrying it all back with you just take a taxi as its cheap enough! I could go on and on (although I already have!) but its a great resort with fantastic accomodation and my only wish is that people would stop booking it up so we can go there again. Thanks so much Lyn for letting us stay at your lovely home and that goes for my mum and dad too who were holidaying on the Island at the same time and managed to stay with us for a few nights thanks to some last minute alterations to our booking. I've told so many friends about the house and hoping if they manage to visit, they have just as much of an unforgettable holiday as we did - Perfect in every way!!! .

“Fantastic home from home place, great location. Super holiday” First time we'd booked a holiday that wasn't a package holiday. Probably wont do a package holiday again. This was perfect. Everything was great for us as a family, much more space and the location is great. The pool area is safe and secure. The beach is about 5-8 min walk away. lots of mini supermarkets and a larger one if you want to do a bigger shop. 10 min transfer from airport in taxi for 10/12 euros. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Lovely walks around resort. Thank you Lyn for allowing us to stay at your home. One of our best holidays

“Fantastic Villa - Great Facilities - Helpful Management Team On Site” We have just got back from a 7 night stay at this villa and can't fault it. The villa is very clean and tidy with nice furniture. All mod cons (washing machine/microwave/dvd player/playstation/CD player/iron/hairdryer, etc). The villa is on a small complex which is very friendly and totally secure. The pool is clean and spacious with plenty of room for sunbeds. Only a short walk to a number of bars, restaurants, shops, good local supermarket, car hire, banks & more. We have already recommended this villa to our friends. Many thanks to the owners Lyn & Phil and also to the management staff.

“Superb accommodation and great holiday” I holidayed with my mother and 2 sisters. The transfer time from airport was only about 10 minutes and we were absolutely delighted when we saw the townhouse. It was immaculately clean and decorated beautifully. It was very spacious and the owners had kitted it out to keep all ages and tastes satisfied with a great selection of books, videos, CDs and DVDs. There was plenty of outdoor furniture which could be taken to the lovely. large pool area. The development was very clean, quiet and private. A few minutes walk took you to the centre of the resort where you could find bars, restaurants, shops, etc. It was very close to the promenade where you could walk for miles in either direction. Overall the perfect holiday accommodation - thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

“Great for an easy self-catering holiday with excellent pool and good location” Great location - the townhouse is near the edge of the resort so it was nice and quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the centre of the resort - the best of both worlds. It is very easy to get to the townhouse from the airport, approx 10 minutes. The resort itself it a good size - not too big to explore but not too small to struggle to find things to do or different restaurants to try - all very child friendly and lots of choice. In the resort there are things to do such as crazy golf, the mini train, play parks and our girls especially liked feeding the fish by the harbour (only 1euro for fish food). The townhouse is exactly as per the photos - it worked really well for us as a family and would also definitely suit a family who wanted to take grandparents, for example, along by paying for the third bedroom with ensuite and lounge area on the lower ground floor (with the double and twin bedrooms being on the upper floor). One of the highlights of the townhouse complex was the swimming pool which our girls (aged 6 and 4) spent a lot of time in! Despite not being heated, it was not too cold in August and has lovely deep steps going in to it so ideal for young children to get in to the pool and to play on. There is also an excellent safety fence surrounding the pool - our 6 year old could not open it. The townhouse complex is also secure with the entry gates having a number keypad for extra security. There is also a safe in the main bedroom which was great for keeping passports in etc. Supermarkets - there is a well stocked Hiper Dino supermarket within a few minutes walk, which is great for fresh bread daily, a larger one in the resort centre and also a large Spar at the Atlantico Centre which is about a 15 minute walk or a quick taxi ride. We found it very easy to manage without having a car for the two weeks but did hire cars for days to explore some of the fabulous beaches on the island - we especially liked the sand dunes in the national park and El Cotillo (beautiful lagoons, quiet, fantastic for children, clear sea and white sand). The location of the resort is great as it is easy to get to both the north and south of the island in just under an hour by car. If you want to be able to self cater, go out for meals every evening or do a bit of both, it is very easy! We would definitely go back again and stay in this townhouse. All in all, a great family holiday.
