About the home

Home from home, end of terrace holiday home with plenty of home comforts. Great views of the coast line, resort, mountains and local golf club. It is the first house on the front row sitting in a large corner plot The outside area has been tiled for added comfort. This house is ideal for a family or couple who want to escape from it all.

With dining table & chairs inside, outside and on the upper terrace along with a BBQ, you can dine to your hearts content. However there are also plenty of local restaurants to visit as well as the local take-away who will deliver for free! Or how about a day at the local spa from 20.00euros for an entire days visit.....or a game of golf at either of
the two local golf club.

Plenty of novels, Plat station 2 with games, Ipod Dock, have been left there for your comfort. The air conditioning supplies hot or cold temperatures for your comfort.

The Fuerteventura region

Great weather all year round. A great place to holiday for families, couples or those who choose to holiday on their own. The island is very relaxing, the people are friendly, there are plenty of places to visit as its the second largest of all the Canary islands.

Must visit the zoo, visit to Lanzarote, shopping (Las Roandas is the new shopping centre in Puerto del Rosario which has Zara and other wonderful shops), the Atlantico Shopping Centre, golf course, the two local beaches in Calete de Fuste as well as the wonderful beaches all around the island eg: El Cotillo, Costa Calma, Moro Jable and Correlejo

The Caleta de Fuste / Montana Blanca area

Local Harbour, beaches, shops, restaurants and bars as well as the great golf course. The pool area at Montana Blanca is only a 15mtr walk away from the Villa and has wonderful views over the resort and the coast line.

There is a large pool and a small baby pool for young children. There are showers and toilets at the pool area and plenty of sun loungers which are available to both guests and owners. Calete de Fuste is very convenient for the airport. A picturesque beach, a small sports harbour and a pleasant promenade, illuminated at night by the lights of the many different shops and restaurants to make this a very popular resort. There is a wonderful spa called the Balnearia (www.spabainearia.com) where you can relax the day away for only 20.00euro. Or how about some cool runnings with Chauffeur Driven Trike Tours for only 55.00euro per couple (www.coolrunningstours.com) - there is also mini golf available at the back of the Barcelo Hotel which is a great bit of fun for all the family.

Down in the harbour you can experience the 'Oceanarium Explorer'. This is a huge adventure where you can go whale watching, open sea trained sea lions, subsea explorer and oceanarium interaction. Sessions depart daily from the yatch harbour. Calete de Fuste is a great base to start your holiday tour of the island. The resort is only 10 minutes from the airport, so after your flight you know it will only be a few minutes from when you collect your bags to sitting beside the pool or sitting on your terrace at Casa Rock. The resort of Calete de Fuste has all the night lift, family entertainment, golf, spa, restaurants, shops, beaches and fantastic scenery that you could wish for. But if you choose to hire a car there is also plenty to do and see on the island.

Car hire, once picked up from the airport, can cost you as little as 96.00euros for the week. We have left out two deck chairs, two umbrellas and a cooler bag for those days that you might like to pack up and see other parts of the island, or visit a remote beach on the island.

Corralejo which is at the north of the island is one of the island's important tourist spots, with a variety of hotels, restaurants and shops. Its territory includes a natural park covering three distinct zones: the beaches where one can relax or practice a wide variety of water sports; the sand dunes, desert like and fascinating and finally the island of Lobos, an ever visible reminder of past volcanic periods. Organised boat trips to it are frequent and very popular.

The house is only 10Km away from the airport and a taxi should cost you approx. 10.00/12.00eurs each way. We always book a car as its quiet inexpensive and gives us greater flexibility. However my parents like to walk and use the public transport system which is very inexpensive. They enjoy exploring the resort and the island at their leisure. You can fly with using www.ryanair.com, from the Uk and you could try www.travelrepublic.co.uk The company we have used to date to rent out a car is Cicar but there are many other car hire companies on the Island.

“perfect” I have just stayed at this apartment for a week. It has everything you need. The location although a little out of town is fantastic, the views are amazing and it is lovely and quiet. The pool and pool area are kept beautiful and clean. I was greeted by Anna and Steve the property managers, they were very welcoming and were very informative about the island and places to eat, drink etc. I would definitely stay here again.

“relaxed, friendly with excellent facilities” I went with a friend so we had a room each - the villa had very good facilities - 1 bathroom and 1 showerroom both also containing loo and sink, fully equipped kitchen, laundry area outside, 3 different places to eat, 2 outside, one inside. I found it very relaxing and i enjoy the beautiful views of the sea plus I had the communal swimming pool to myself. The beds were comfy and considering the villa was on special offer when we went - amazing value. The negatives were mainly outwith the control of the owner - very strong winds when we arrived so we couldn't use the top sun deck (a wind break would help), we couldn't open the shutters to the livingroom as they were so stiff. The villa is a good 25 minute walk from the beach/harbour area so we regretted not hiring a car when buying our flights which were offered at £65 for the week and we ended up paying this for 3 days for a car without locks from Orlando - however, this shows how relaxed this area is that they were not concerned about renting a car out whose locks didn't work! Other rentals were minimum £30 per day if you didn't book it for a whole week. The walk down to the central area was fine - taxi was £3.50 to come back up so not bad but you are limited to what you can do.
