A £100 holding fee per property is required with your booking form to secure your booking. We do provisionally hold dates should you require time to arrange flights etc.
The outstanding balance is required 6 weeks before your arrival date. We also require a £150 key deposit per property one month prior to travel, which will be returned (subject to satisfactory inspection on your departure) within 2 weeks of you leaving the property.
Payment accepted: bank transfer, Paypal, credit/debit card (stirling/euro), and cheque (£ only)
Changeover day is flexible. If guests are leaving on a changeover day they must vacate the property by 10am, and if arriving on a changeover day, then they can only have access after 2pm. In either case provision can be made for your luggage.
The Canary Islands region
Fuerteventura is only a 4 hour flight journey from the UK, and yet it offers sun for most of the year (across the sea from Africa). It's constant breeze makes it a great summer location too, as this takes the edge of the heat in mid-summer.
It offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, and is known for it's water-sports and golf courses.
Caleta De Fuste
The resort is well situated for exploration of the rest of the island, and is approx. a 35 mins drive to the north of the island, which offers- sand dunes, water park, and ferry services to Lanzarote. Approx 45 mins to the south of the island to the zoo and botanical gardens, which are on the way to Jandia's spectacular beaches, known for hosting professional water sport events.
Caleta de Fuste offers a wide variety of recreational activities, which are all within walking distance from the complex. The marina offers the Oceanarium, daily boat trips, and many water sport facilities. The 18 hole PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 min drive. The shopping plaza offering a ten-pin bowling alley, Spar supermarket and more can be reached by a walk along the beach as can the established Wellness-Center. The vast assortment of restaurants, cater for families with children of all ages.
Within a 10 mins stroll, the large expanse of sandy beaches with shallow waters are ideal for both children to play and those looking to relax in solitude by the sea. Also within walking distance a little further along are the beautiful newly created man-made beaches and coves. There's fishing and diving opportunities, daily boat trips and many water sport facilities. The island is also well-known for its vast expanse of unspoilt sand dunes in the north and beautiful beaches in the south.
The PGA golf course with club hire facilities, is within a 5 mins drive. The course is an 18-hole par 70 of 6,078 metres from the championship tees, with two loops of 9 holes starting and finishing at the clubhouse.
The practise facilities include a 50 bay driving range (50 balls cost around 3 euros), a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots.
The course offers a pay and play facility and has buggies, trolleys and two classes of clubs for hire.
The golf course is situated opposite the Atlantico Shopping and Leisure Centre. This is a few minutes drive from the complex and can be reached by the 'free bus service' which operates from just outside our complex and stops at several locations including the shopping centre and golf course.

Nice little rental...good value...shops & restaurants only minutes away.
My daughter & I had a lovely relaxing week in the sun.
Only 15mins from airport & our taxi was waiting for us as arranged (sun transfers)

Duplex was totally utilitarian from amenities to location.
Very spacious and airy.
Quiet location but handy for the bars and restaurants.
Nice to sit on the balcony and look out to sea night and day.
Will visit again.

Just returned from 51 Castillo Mar and was most disappointed in the accommodation. There is only a 2 ring cooker, no grill or oven, only a fridge with a freezer compartment and the control knob was m… More
Thank you for your comments. We try to communicate to all inquirers, the facilities and appliances that are available in our accommodation. We aim to do this before the point of booking, as we do want guests to be happy with their choice of accommodation, and are sorry if you feel this was not the case. Unfortunately, as our washing machine is located in an external enclosed utility space (accessed from the kitchette), it is subject to weather conditions. We aim to create a roof structure for this area, and are looking into this, with the hope of preserving the appearance of our washing machines. We understand that this visual damage does not affect the function of the appliance. We do also aim to keep all of our properties maintained / decorated to a good standard, and again are sorry you feel this was not the case during your stay. This is the first time we have received these kind of comments, and have taken note, as it is important for us, that our guests leave with a positive experience of their stay with us.

"When can I go again???"
I was fortunate enough to stay in this duplex and location for 6 weeks. I knew I wanted to stay on this complex, and had the choice of quite a few apartments, but after chatting to Shelley on email, I was then certain who I wanted to book with.
I had always stayed in hotels before, but due to the length of time the cost would have been far too much, which is why I looked at rentals, but then I was dubious about where my hard earned money would go.
The professionalism I was shown from the start, was what convinced me this would be the place for me, and I can say I made a great choice. Not only that, but I was given a fabulous price due to the length of my stay.
A lady called Pam greets you when you are there, she was 1st class, lovely to chat to, and I only had one issue whilst I was there, which was resolved in an hour!! The duplex itself has a sea view between two hotels, this was a definite extra, it really is lovely to wake up to, and makes you know you are on holiday. The other benefit is, it's on the front of the complex, so it was very quiet, I only had Neighbours for 4 days of my stay.
The upstairs terrace has 2 sun loungers, and you get sun from when you wake up until around 3pm, and then you can always go to the pool, you can check how busy it is, just by looking out the bathroom window! Generally, there were few people there. The complex is very well looked after, there are maintenance people doing some sort of cleaning etc all day everyday, and they are friendly, as were everyone I spoke to, as you have a mix of residents and holiday makers.
The apartment itself was exactly what I needed, very well equipped, and the only thing I needed to buy for me, was a cheese grater!! It was clean and functional, and for me really felt like home.
If you are looking at similar properties, you will find extras in those like air con and tv etc, however think of this, it's breezy there and you get ceiling fans, I don't like evening heat, and I never felt like I needed a/c at any point. Also, why go away to watch TV? I actually enjoyed the break from it, and it gave me an excuse to go out if I really wanted to go watch things!
If its Caleta you need a review for, just go, it's such a lovely, quiet, clean place, if you want clubs and night life, go to the north of the Island, if you want a break from the rat race of the UK, this is perfect.
I can't wait to go back, and I 100% recommend this property, it's not a 5 star hotel, but I loved every minute I was there, and would have no hesitation in booking with Shelley again.
