About the home

The property is within a gated garden area making it very safe for young children. Guests have use of the large communal pool area which has sun loungers, WC, showers and a separate child’s pool.

The beach, bars, restaurants and large Atlantico Shopping Centre are a 15 minute walk away, or you can use the free courtesy coach service which runs throughout the day (except for the afternoon siesta period!) which runs from the 5* Golf Hotel/Clubhouse which is only a five minutes walk away.

The property can sleep up to 6 adults and has cable TV via satellite, DVD & i.pod music dock. There is also free WIFI access through out the house.

The villa is ideal for both family and golf holidays or just great for those that want to get away and enjoy the sunny climate!

With a bright modern fully equipted kitchen & outdoor BBQ area the villa is perfect for alfresco dining on the terrace or just sipping a cold drink watching the sun go down.

The house is within a gated area so very safe for young children. There is 24 hour a day security at the golf course. Please note no smoking permitted within the villa.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with king size bed, ceiling fan, fitted wardrobes and balcony with views out to sea and over golf course.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds, fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and large rear balcony.

Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom with bath/shower, WC, bidet, large marble unit with hand basin, mirror and shaving point.

Ground floor bathroom with small bath/shower, WC and mirror.

Kitchen: Tastefully fitted with 4 ring hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, fridge/freezer etc. Granite worktops and all necessary utensils.

Utility Room: Iron and ironing board with window to side. Large outside airer fitted to rear of this room. Storage for inflatables etc.

Living Rooms: Large lounge/diner with satellite TV (over 70 channels). DVD player & i.pod music dock. Comfortable leather sofas and patio doors leading to large sunny terrace area.

Other: All rooms have black out curtains fitted to keep the rooms cool during the day and also allow you to have a lay in!

English speaking management 24/7.

linen/maid service: All bedlinen and bath towels are provided. We ask all guests to bring their own beach towels. We have a travel cot at the property. Maid service on departure (additional cleans are available at extra cost - payable locally).

The large terrace area has a brick built BBQ with Rattan weave/glass table & comfortable cushioned chairs for 6 people, perfect for alfresco dining.

There are sun loungers with cushions for your use. The pretty garden area is now mature and is maintained on a weekly basis. On the back wall of the house there is a large fitted airer for your use.

The shared swimming pool is exclusive for villa guests within the community & you will be provided with a key for access.

The Fuerteventura region

The island’s enormous beaches attract surfers from all over the globe with Dunas de Corralejo National Park, in the northern resort of Corralejo, great for soaking up the sun or walking along the miles of white sand & amazing dunes.

Costa Caleta on the east coast, and Jandia, in the south, are great for watersports, mini-golf and trampolining for the kids. Then come evening, the smell of fresh fish cooking fills the island’s harbourside restaurants ensuring plenty of choice for dining.

Caleta de Fuste boasts a pretty marina with plenty of bars & restaurants to sample local food .The nearest airport is Puerto del Rosario which is 8km from the house (10 euros) in a taxi. Collection from the airport can be arranged (cost payable locally). Car hire not essential but would recommend if you wish to see more of this beautiful island & visit some of the amazing beaches on offer.

The Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area

There are beautiful and safe bathing beaches located in front of the Atlantico Shopping Centre which is just over 1 km and easily walkable from the house. Here you will also find restaurants/bars & an extensive Spar supermarket with a great bakery & fresh fish counter . As well as clothes shops, perfume shops & Jewelers, there is a Multiscreen cinema ( which occasionally shows movies in English) an amusement arcade & 10 Pin bowling.

The main beach of Caleta is another 1km away. From the main beach you can Jet Ski, Windsurf (Tuition available) and take a trip out on the sea for the day with many different options available.

The villa is located on the first golf course in Fuerteventura. The course hosted the 2004 Spanish Open and is 6069m long from the men's championship tees. It is an 18 hole course with 2 loops of nine holes both starting and finishing at the clubhouse. There are 3 large lakes with a stream that meanders between them. There is a practise area which has a 50 bay driving range and professional tuition is available in various languages. Buggies, trolleys and two classes of clubs can be hired.

There is another 18 hole golf course ‘Las Salinas’ located next door to the Golf Resort which has practise area and Clubhouse which enjoys good ambience.
Due to the wonderful climate in Fuerteventura you really can play golf 365 days a year.

The Elba Palace Golf 5* Hotel is a 5 minute walk away & is a great location for an evening drink in the pretty courtyard or dining in the restaurant. Also good for a cocktail in their lovely Piano Bar.

“fantastic villa and holiday” We have just returned from this beautiful, immaculate villa. It was ideal for our family and had everything you could possibly imagine you could need. It was very spacious,comfortable just like home. The pool is just around the corner and is not too crowded, our kids loved it,there is a friendly atmosphere and we didnt have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun lounger. There is a large shopping centre about 15min walk downhill, with a large spar supermarket which is reasonably priced.The walk back is not recommended for young children or the elderly as it is quite steep, but a taxi, which are always available costs only 4 euros. Their where five of us, and always managed to get a minibus with no wait at all. A taxi into caleta is also only 4 euros, and here there are some excellent restauraunts. Nestors, was our favourite and ate here most nights, and we also enjoyed Fado Rock too. There are also cheaper restaurants which do good food too, The Sports Tavern, was good value and food quite good. The beach down at the Atlantico Centre, was lovely, with shallow water for little ones, on fridays there are free bouncy castles and things for kids. Karen has thought of everything you could imagine you would need in this villa and answered any questions we had with as much information as she could, she was very helpful indeed. We would definately recommend this villa and will be returning. We have had a lovely holiday.

“Wonderful relaxing holiday” Just returned from Casa Mariposa, all we want to do is go back. Beautiful villa immaculate condition with everything you need for the perfect get away. The villa is spacious very tastefully decorated and enjoys a communial pool ( most days we had it to ourselves) within a two minute walk. The town is a walk away with a shopping centre close by. Prefect holiday.

“Relaxing and comfortable with amenities and the sea close” We have stayed here before and its still a lovely well kept property. Clean tidy with comforts that all the family would appreciate.Within 15-20 minutes you can walk down to the town and beach area or with a car 5 minutes. Taxi's are reasonable. 15 minutes from airport. Its a delight to visit the area and we find the island very relaxing from top to bottom. The weather is usually good very good or excellent depending on time of year but we always go home with a colour.We will book again.

“beautifully furnished and well equipped” My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay at this property, it is beautifully furnished and has everything you could need if you wish to self cater with both front and rear balconies upstairs as well as the patio area on the ground floor you can catch the sun all day, taxi fare into the centre is less than 4 Euro when we went out to eat, very peaceful setting and the shared pool area is spotlessly clean. We would recommend this property to others.

“wonderful golf villa” We really enjoyed our stay at 93a La Colina.   The house is in excellent condition and has all the facilities you would need for a very confortable Stay. We golf so it was lovely to be able to stroll up to the Golf course with a few clubs and hit some balls on their fine practice facility. The south facing patio was wonderful and we spent most of our day there as it was very sheltered and warm. We had a look at the pool and it seemed very nice but it would take a lot to drag us away from the patio outside the house.  We took two day trips by car to La coletto and Corelja  and that was worth doing.  For Dining I could not go beyond Nesters and El capitans. We tried 15 and The slow boat, but the other two were better.   A very enjoyable Winter holiday and we will come again to 73a La Colina
