Set on one of the most prestigious and sought after locations on the 18 hole Championship golf course 'El Refugio' is this fabulous first floor penthouse apartment . This penthouse apartment is situated on the first floor in a block of four priivate apartments. The apartment consits of a large lounge/dining area, separate new fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. Four piece bathroom suite, two double bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes. One large furnished terrace accessed by either the main bedroom or lounge and has fantastic views over the golfcourse and out to sea. The roof top terrace is fully furnished and totally private and un-overlooked, with spectaular views across to the marina , sea and mountains. The apartment will sleep up to 4 people.The apartment has been stylishly furnished including beautiful patio furniture on both the balcony and roof top terrace. There is a communal private swimming pool with toilets and changing area for resident use only 2 minutes across the road from the apartment.

The apartment has been furnished to a very high standard. The decor is bright and modern with tiled floors throughout. All the furnishings have been coordinated from pictures and mirrors through to the soft furnishings and furniture.

There is a large balcony with fantastic views across tto the bay of Caleta. The balacony has a rattan table and 4 chairs.. The roof terrace has spectacular views across the golf course and out to sea.. There are 6 x sunloungers, an outside shower and a further large dining table with 6 x chairs. This is a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine whilst watching the amazing sunsets.

There is an outdoor swimming pool across the road from the apartment set in its own landscaped gardens with key only access for the residents. There are changing rooms, toilets, sun loungers etc with lovely views across the mountains.

Further details

There is a free bus route to the main town of Caleta de Fuste and the Commercial Centre. The bus runs from outside the main entrance of the 5* Grand Lux Elba Palace Golf hotel which is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment The 1st stop is the Commercial Centre which includes restaurants, bars, takeaways, supermarket, bank, a selection of shops and boutiques, bowling alley and cinema. Next stop is the 5* Sheridan hotel and then onto the main town of Caleta. The town centre offers a stunning crescent beach with calm waters, safe beach and a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops etc.

The Fuerteventura region

Caleta de Fuste is just 15 minutes from the airport. The town and golf course are fronted by the beach and sea and backed by rolling hills. There are over 100 beaches to visit on Fuerteventura including the famous dunes in Corralejo 30 mins drive to the north of the island. The views from the mountains are spectacular. Many beaches have wonderful sea for body boarding and surfing whilst the Sotovento beach to the south offers 25 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches.

The Caleta de Fuste / Campo de Golfe area

The 18 hole championship golf course which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open is close to the apartment and a round of golf with your own clubs or hired ones can be arranged at the 5* hotel 2 minutes away. Summer prices - 9 holes 28 euros and 18 holes 55 euros. Club hire 18 euros (no balls or tees) trolley hire 3 euros.

The sea surrounding Fuerteventura is ideal for body boarding, wind surfing and surfing.
There is alot to see and do including a trip to the mountains and Betancuria, the sand dunes of Corralejo , a trip to the the zoo or take a ferry to Lanzarote.

Flights to Fuerteventura are available from all main UK airports. www.cheapflights.co.uk or www.expedia.co.uk have good selections of flights. The airport in Fuerteventura is located in the capital Puerto del Rosario. Caleta de Fuste is just a 10-15 minute journey from the airport. Taxis wait right outside the terminal or you can prearrange a car to pick up at the airport. www.autoreisen.es are at the airport. There are several rental companies located at the airport itself so it is possible to arrange car hire on arrival. There is a free bus route running all day approx 2 mins from the apartment to the town which takes 5 minutes.
