Situated on pleasant friendly complex centrally located 2 mins from seafront, bars and restaurants, 5 mins from child friendly sandy beach. The upstairs consists of a bedroom leading onto furnished balcony. Bathroom with shower. Downstairs consists of open plan lounge with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. There is satellite TV, DVD player and DVDs and downstairs cloakroom with WC. At the rear of the apartment there is a small private tiled area.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the second largest island of the Canarian Archipelago with a population of around 80,000 inhabitants. Fuerteventura is 100km long, and 31km wide and is believed to be the oldest of the Canary Islands forming over 20 million years ago.
Over 3000 hours a year of sunshine and an average monthly rainfall of only 2.1mm during the summer season make Fuerteventura the ideal location for a home in the sun. Temperatures rarely fall below 18ºc in winter and trade winds keep humidity low during summer months. The backdrop of rugged volcanic mountains stretching in to the sky, contrast deeply with the white sand beaches and turquoise coloured Atlantic Ocean.
Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area
Costa Caleta is situated halfway down on the east coast of Fuerteventura. If you look around Caleta de Fuste, you will notice that it does not have a significant old town. This is because it is a purpose built holiday resort. It has been created around the original cove, because this offered a safe, sheltered environment for beach activities. Caleta is Spanish for cove and a fuste is a type of fishing boat.
How to get there
Castillo Mar is positioned in a good area of Costa Caleta (Caleta de Fuste). It is only a minute away from cafes , bars , restaurants , and a couple of supermarkets yet private enough for a relaxing holiday. The airport is only a 12 minute drive and taxis are about 12 euros each way , we can arrange transfers to and from the airport with our property manager who will then hand over the keys. Car hire is not a must when visiting Caleta but it would be a shame to miss this beautiful island and car hire is reasonable. Further details indoors: There are two pedestal fans in the apartment for those hot nights of summer. A digital safe is fitted for all your documents. Towels and linen are included in the first weeks rental, second week towels and linen change to be agreed with property manager and paid locally.
Further details outdoors: On the front patio there are table and chairs , as well as the front balcony . The small rear tiled area has two sun beds as well as table and chairs with screening all round.

* A £50 non-refundable deposit is required for each week booked and the balance is paid six weeks before departure. * If booked within six weeks of departure full payment is required when booking. * Long term lets are three months or more and will be discounted from normal tariffs. * A £50 refundable security bond is payable upon arrival. * Entry into apartment is normally 3.00pm, and departure from the apartment is 10.00am. * Exceptions can be made if the property is unoccupied before and after please ask when booking.
