Home description
Our beautiful duplex has its own mini back garden and tiled front patio, complete with patio table, chairs, sun-loungers and an upstairs balcony with all day sunshine.
The lounge has a sofa bed that converts to a comfortable double sofa bed, an 84 channel satellite TV and CD system. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle and toaster and all the cooking utensils you will need. There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and small hand-basin.
The upstairs bathroom has a bath, toilet, shower and basin. The main bedroom has a king sized bed (usable as two singles) fitted wardrobe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The bedroom opens onto the upstairs balcony.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
Our house-book contains lots of information about local transport, places of interest, things to do, car hires and favourite restaurants to help our guests have a wonderful holiday.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura enjoys year round sunshine. It is a beautiul Island with plenty to see and do. Part of the Island is one of Spain's National Parks with a bird and wildlife sanctuary. To the north of the island are the beautiful white sand beaches at Corralejo. Go Inland (the islnd is only 20 miles across at its broadest) and you will find small traditional villages with local cheeses, wines and craft goods for sale. To the south of the island is the wildlife park and the recently opened water park at Corralejo.
Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area
Calete de Fuste has everything you wil need for a great holiday, lots of restaurants, bars and a few night clubs. Good local supermarkets, shops and banks. The market is weekly on a Saturday.
Calete's shops, bars and restaurants are located just two minutes walk from our apartment.
The new 18 hole golf course, which hosted the 2004 Spanish open is a 10 minute walk away.
Castillo Mar is less than 3 minutes walk to Calete de Fuste's lovely sandy beach. It is extremely safe for swimming and excellent for families. On the beach you can go camel riding (if you wish!) or just relax in the warm sunshine. The beach leads to the harbour where you can go scuba diving, wind surfing, see the seals, take excursions or eat in one of the harbour restaurants.
There are many good restaurants and places to eat that will cater for those that want to eat the local fish and seafood plus a wide assortment of international restaurants.
How to get there
Fly from all main UK airports to Puerto del Rosario Airport, Fuerteventura. Check online for cheap flights - Monarch, XL and First Choice fly to Fuerteventura. Taxis available directly outside airport. It Costs 15 Euros to Calete De Fuste and takes about 10 minutes. We can arange for you to be picked up from the airport for 15 Euros.

Further details outdoors: Castillo Mar is very family friendly as well as being suitable for couples, and single people. The complex is very pleasant and conveniently located next to the Happy Sol centre that has a good selection of family friendly cafes, restaurants and bars that serve very reasonably priced breakfasts, snacks, and main meals from early morning to late evening.
The complex has its own sunloungers and parasols for guest use.

We would prefer guests to smoke outside of our apartment or on the terrace.
Conditions
We do not ask for a deposit against breakages. We would ask that guests let us know of any breakages or accidental damage so that we can put this right before the next guests arrive. Payment for any breakages will be discussed with guests.
We do ask for a deposit of 50 Euros for keys. This deposit is paid on your arrival and returned to you when you leave Castillo Mar by our local key holders.

Please note we have two duplex apartments at Castillo Mar next door to each other. We are happy to discuss rental of both apartments for larger groups and families A deposit is required to secure your booking, final payment is required 8 weeks prior to your departure date. NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. The price has been lowered to take into effect that the complex pool is not available until late August. Urgent repair work has to be carried out to comply with new Spanish saftey rules. There are 3 pool directly opposite that our customers can use freely as well as the bars and restaurants.
