About the home

This is a lovely two bedroom apartment in Central Caleta. 5 min walking distance to restaurants, pubs, shops, beach, marina and about a 10 minute walk to Atlantico Shopping Center. 10 min walk to Saturday Market. Buses and taxis to other areas of the Island. Two fabulous golf courses 5 min drive.

One bedroom with a double bed, second bedroom two single beds and a double bed sofa in lounge area. It has a fully equipped kitchen including hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and all utensils. The lounge area has two couches with UK & IRISH TV - BBC1&2, ITV, CH4, RTE1&2, DVD Player. The lounge leads out onto a large private wrap around terrace which has sun loungers, table, four chairs, sun umbrella. The terrace is great for the sun worshippers!! The terrace over looks the pool area.

The Complex is extremely safe for children with key operated security gates. It has a children s pool and adult pool with sun loungers all around the pool area.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the hidden gem of the Canary Islands. Volcanic landscapes, lagoon beaches, crystal clear waters, white sand beaches, ancient museums, breathtaking churches, quaint little villages.... there is something for everyone.

There are organised buses to Oasis Park, which is a Zoo and Animal park, this a fun day out and buses to Correlejo where Baku Water Park has exciting slides and wave machines.

All year round sunshine and temperatures that never drop below 22 degrees even in winter, which makes Fuerteventura an all year round resort and an ideal holiday location.

The Caleta de Fuste / Central Caleta area

Caleta de Fuste is a very popular area for families, couples and great for golfers. The large horse shoe shaped beach and marina are enclosed and you are sheltered from the warm winds. The water is shallow with golden sand.

At the Marina, there are water sports including diving, windsurfing, pedalos ,deep sea fishing, boat trips and an Oceanarium. and fishing trips are also available.

There are two golf courses within a three minute drive from Esmeralda Apartments, one of the courses being a 18 hole championship golf course which held the Spanish Open in 2004.

There are fantastic restaurants and bars. There is a supermarket 5 min walk and a variety of shops to browse in and out of . There is a large shopping centre - Atlantico a 15 minute stroll or a three minute bus ride and here you will find a further selection of great restaurants, bars, boutique style shops and a Euro Spar Supermarket. There is also a cinema complex, bowling alley and amusements.
This Island like the other Canary Islands enjoy all year round sun, perfect for a winter break.

There is a Saturday Market approx 10 min walk - 10 am to 2 pm
Caleta is only a 10 minute drive from the airport. There are taxi's outside the arrivals door or we can arrange for a pick up and drop off for 15.00 euros.
