About the home

A luxury 4 bedroom family villa, furnished to a very high standard with orthopaedic beds throughout, well equipped kitchen with washing machine and dryer. The living room has 2 leather sofabeds and a 40" LCD TV satellite and an extensive DVD library, there is a 2nd TV DVD and play station and games in one of the bedrooms.

The fully tiled outside area over looks the golf course it has plenty of room to relax and sunbathe around the private heated swimming pool. There is also a BBQ and large table and chairs. The roof terrace offers wonderful views of the Golf course and the Atlantic Ocean.

The villa boasts, separate kitchen/utility living and dining rooms the dining room has seating for up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with en-suite and jacuzzi bath. In the other 2 double bedrooms one has another kingsize bed and the other has 2 single beds lastly the 4th bedroom has 1 single bed with TV DVD and playstation, all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. The family bathroom has a large walk in shower.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura has a beautiful climate with sunshine all year round. Lying close to the Moroccan shore, Fuerteventura is the most sparsely populated of the Canary Islands. There is wonderful diving to be had off the remote Barlovento coast, which is home to the island’s best subtropical marine life. Inland the rugged volcanic landscape is stunning at sunset, when a drive across the plains shows a staggering variety of colours.

The relaxed and low-key resort of Calets de Fustes offers diving and wind-surfing schools and an array of shops and restaurants gathered around its central plaza. Corralejo is one of the island’s most important resorts, with its distinctive sand dunes stretching away to the south and a lively port area. There are excellent fish restaurants in town and a ferry runs frequently to Lanzarote....

The Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area

Just a 10 minute drive from the airport, the villa is sitiated in Las Cascadas, part of the prestigios Fueteventura Golf Resort, host of the 2004 Spanish Open, with another 18 hole golf course opposite. For the golf lover there is another golf couse about an hour away.
Close by is the Atlantico Shopping Centre with a large supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars, there is also a cinema, bowing alley and other amusements.
Situated close to the centre are beautiful beaches.
The main town of Caleta is a short 5 minute drive away, here you will find watersports and more shops, restaurants and bars.
Fine dining and spa treatments are offered at many of the 5 star hotels in the resort.

“Wonderful holiday - fantastic villa!” This villa is amazing. On arrival it was spotless, there were even pool towels waiting for us. The four bedrooms are large with heaps of storage space and the main bedroom opened onto the pool which was lovely in the mornings. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There are hundreds of DVDs to watch (great for the children), and CDs to listen to. The outside space was a good size and having our own pool was fantastic. There was more than enough space to play and sunbathe (roof terrace too), and we never felt like we were on top of one another. The outside dining areas were spacious and the dining table had an umbrella for shade, which is important with young children. We all loved the hot tub and made great use of it. The villa is not overlooked at all (golfers over the way but far enough away not to feel intrusive) and is in a quiet location. Other villas nearer the hotel on the golf course are further away from the beach, but this one is just a 15 minute walk to the front and the Atlantico Centre. The beach is lovely and there's a big supermarket and other shops/cafes in the centre. You can get a cab back from the supermarket for about 3 euros, which we did twice. There are a couple of restaurants in the Atlantico Centre, but we took a cab into Caleta (4 euros) where are many, many more to chose from. Villa Damarkelle is perfect - even better than the photos. The owner was most helpful during the booking process answering my many questions. We would definitely recommend the villa and hope to return again soon!

“Excellent holiday, why would you stay in a hotel” This was a really easy holiday to put together. Easyjet flights without any fuss and speedy boarding. Pre booked the car with Cicar a Zafira for £270 for two weeks and the quickest pick up I have experienced. You can do this from the baggage hall while you are waiting for luggage. Left the airport and the straight 10 minute drive to the villa is really easy. The villa is in a quiet but safe area. The villa is big and the views of the golf course is really good nice but not close enough to annoy. The best thing about this villa is outside space and you do spend a lot of time outside. The villa comes equipped with tons of films, tv with some english channels and a PS2 for the kids. The villa has good size bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone with free air-con on those hot days. The main resort is a 35 minute walk which to be honest is ok but when the taxi will collect you within 5 minutes from the villa and drop you into the resort at a cost of 4 euros including tip, guess what we done every night, we never paid more than 5 euro's to come home. The resort is low key but enough to do for two weeks. Went to the zoo and the water park and the sand dunes so worth having the car. The Atlantico shopping centre is close and I was sent for fresh croissants every morning.The breeze does lull you into a false sense of security because it is hot here, so protect yourself . This holiday was good and the ease of travel and the quality of the villa made this a great holiday. If you have always stayed in hotels and thinking of booking a villa this is ideal as so easy to put together

“Luxurious and Peaceful.” We both very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Damarkelle. A Lovely villa in a peaceful location, close to all amenities and only about a 15 euro cab ride from the airport. The villa has everything you need and more, It is huge and fully equipt with all mod cons. We usually stay at the Sheraton Hotel but found this villa to be far superior. There was even a lovely welcome pack with all you need for your first night or day. Such comfortable beds and generous on the pillows too! The owners were most helpful and answered all our enquiries promptly. Keys were sent to us in plenty of time for our holiday. Deposit was returned almost immediately after we returned the keys. Highly recommended we will definitely go again. Many thanks, Tim and Chloe.

“Beautiful villa which has everything you need for a relaxing holiday” Villa Damarkelle is furnished to a high standard.It is well equiped for everything you need for a brilliant holiday .It has a massive selection of cds and dvds plus a PS2 which is brilliant for all ages of children.The swimming pool is a good size and warm with a veiw over the second hole of the golf course(this was good to watch people playing laying from our sunbed)It is about a ten minute walk to the Atlantico centre which has shops,places to eat and a spar.There is also a free bus that stops outside to take you to more shops and places to eat in the centre of Caleta De Fuste.The beach is safe and calm which is good for people with young children and seems very much to be a family friendly resort .In all we had a lovely relaxing two week stay and will definatly return. Thank You Ann for a lovely holiday . Alison ,Mick and children.
