About the home

Situated on the 5 Star Fuerteventura Golf Complex in Caleta De Fuste, home of the 2004 Spanish Open and just 3 minutes drive from the “Atlantico” centre, which has a hyperpermarket, multi-screen cinema, bowling alley and a variety of other entertainments on hand. The Centre also has a fine selection of restaurants/bars and shops/boutiques.
In addition to this you can relax on the lovely beach, situated just infront of the centre. From there it is only a 10 -15 minute stroll to the centre of the family resort of Caleta .
The villa has everything you require to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, including Satellite TV. With beautiful views over the golf course and the sea, a roof terrace, with no interruptions of the sun, on which you can relax and sunbathe in privacy. The Villa has its own generously sized heated pool, maintained landscaped gardens, dining patio and separate barbecue area. The master bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. There are two further twin bedded rooms, one with a portable TV/ DVD. There is also a separate family bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.The fully fitted kitchen comes complete with all the facilities you would require at home. There are two half sets of golf clubs available for use of guests ( free of charge)
The villa is only an 8 minute drive from the airport. In Caleta itself there is a large selection of restaurants, offering a variety of different foods,for all the family .There is also a small Marina and a beautiful “safe”, sandy beach. The villa is centrally located, allowing easy access to both the North and South of the island. Both have fantastic sandy beaches, with the North offering a Water park and the South housing the Islands Zoo.The newly opened Shopping Mall, with all the designer shops is situated only a 20 minute drive away in Puerto Rosario. A free courtesy bus runs hourly from the golf course ( also return ) to the Atlantico centre and on to Caleta town.
The villa is maintained by an English Family, who only live 5 minutes away if you require any assistance whatsoever.

Utility Room: With an additional large water heater, washing machine, iron/Ironing board, vacuum, cleaning equipment and children's toys for pool etc.

Bedroom 1 : Double bed with en-suite bathroom, housing wc,bidet bath & shower. Bedside cabinets & further bedroom furniture. Fitted Safe. Portable satelliteTV/DVD (Can be taken into other bedrooms).

Outside: Heated pool, which is cleaned and treated twice weekly by a professional pool cleaner. The pool is 8metres x 4 metres. There are steps down at the shallow end 1.1metres and then the pool slopes down to 1.5 metres at its deepest.

Don´t worry if there are two families traveling together and you require an additional villa, we have friends next door with a 4 bed villa.

Conditions

A 200 Euro or £150 refundable breakage deposit is required & payable with the final balance. If all is well, a cheque will be posted to you within 15 days of your departure.Obviously accidental breakages of glasses etc. are expected and the full deposit will be returned.
Please be aware that if your booking is for 4 people and a further bed/bedroom is used throughout your stay, a charge of £20.00 may be deducted from your returnable deposit, to allow for the extra cleaning of the room and the changing/washing and ironing of the bed linen.
Please make sure that you have adequate travel Insurance in place, as no liability can be accepted by the owners.

The Fuerteventura region

All year round Sunshine, with over 150 beaches! See the picturesque sandy beaches of Morro Jable & Jandia, and the protected sand dunes of Corralejo and newly opened waterpark. The island also has a zoo, with live shows and you can visit the beautiful adjoining cactus gardens. See the Historic village of Betancuria, or visit the salt museum.

If you fancy a round of Golf at Fuerteventura Golf course,it will cost you around 55 Euros. There is a driving range ( 3 Euros for a basket of balls) and a resident PGA club professional that will be on hand to give you a half hour video leson for 25 Euros.
Next to Fuerteventra Golf Course is the recently opened Las Salinas course, which offers an entirely different challenge

The Caleta de Fuste / Fuerteventura Golf area

From the Villa it is a 3 minute walk onto the 1st tee of Fueteventura Golf Club ( venue of the Spanish Open 2004) and the recently opened (2007) Las Salinas 18 hole course is situated alongside it. A 10 minute walk takes you to the "Atlantico" centre, where you will find absolutely everything you may require for your stay. In 2008 a beautiful man made beach was created just infront of te centre.Only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Caleta de Fuste, with Watersports, Oceanarium and a large choice of International cuisines. It's only a 14 minute drive to the Capital, Puerto Rosario where there is a superb shopping centre which opened in 2006. You can also visit the Salt museum, which is 5 minutes from the villa.
The villa is ideally situated for exploring the Island, being midway between the North & the South.

“Brilliant family holiday!” My partner and I stayed at the villa with our 8 month old son. Booking with the owners was easy and stress free. On payment of our final balance we received all the details about the villa and some recommended place to eat and visit. On our arrival at the villa we were met by Paul the property manager who was very helpful and kept the pool clean during our stay. The villa was clean and well equipped, everything was as described on the website so we knew it would be a 20 minute walk around the golf course to the nearest beach. Although there was a free bus from the hotel round the corner we preferred to walk. On our return home we were contacted by the owner who asked for our address to send the £150 bond back and it arrived the next day. We would not hesitate to recommend Villa Sol to any of our friends or family and hope to be fortunate enough to return next year Response: It sounds like you had a great holiday and at our villa. “Nice, clean villa” Paul and Jill look after the villa and were very nice and helpful. If you need anything they are happy to help. When we booked the villa we were sent useful information that gave some pointers about what to see or do on the island. The villa felt safe and secure, we had previously stayed in solar villas but they are older and the windows and doors are wood not PVC. The BBQ on the patio is good and the pool well maintained. There are a couple of watchable tv channels - news and CBS drama. But there are a few DVDs in the villa such as face off, working girl and mama Mia you can watch (or take your own) there are also loads of books there you can read which is a nice touch. The only downside is the towels. They only supply one hand and one bath towel each which means you don't get a beach towel which you need! As we are used to these being supplied we didn't take any (also they wouldn't have fitted in the case). The bath towels are not bath sheets, they are smallish towels. The villa is about a 20 minute walk from the shops which is a pain. Kitchen was great with everything we needed to cook. No wifi was a bit annoying. The bathroom and ensuite bathroom were lovely, modern and clean. In all it was a good holiday for my wife, two grown up children and me. I would recommend and I will probably return (and take towels)! Also make sure you get your deposit refunded, I had to chase my refund. Response: Thank you for your review. We are sorry about the beach towels,we do have lots of them available for use, but guests generally ask us when booking if they require them and most like to take their own. “Relaxing” Fantastic villa, plenty of space & all the home comforts. A great location gore us as we enjoy walking, for those less energetic a car may be useful. However it is only a short taxi ride to the Atlantico or the town. Very peaceful, both day & night, perfect for a chilled break away from the stress of work etc. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Calleta Alan, Marion & Rachel Response: Thank you for your review of our villa. “A wonderful trip!” I can't think of anything that we didn't like about our stay at Villa Sol. The house was immaculate, the rooms were perfect, and the pool was the icing on the cake. There were 6 of us total including two children and we all absolutely loved it there. It was a great location, good walking distance to shops and to get to the city it was less than 3pounds for taxi. Vacationed 7 days there and it was the best holiday ever. Overall was really good, everything you need is there, lovely, and clean .We had never been to a villa before but would love to come back next year! “I Couldn't fault this villa. A Lovely relaxing holiday” We stayed at Villa Sol for 11 nights in April 2012 . This was our 4th visit to Caleta De Fuste, but our first time renting a private Villa. The Villa is situated in a quiet street in the Golf Resort near to the Elba Palace Hotel, they run a free bus into the Village and local shopping centre, which was very handy as it is quite a trek if you want to walk there. I would recommend hiring a car so that you can enjoy the rest of the lovely island. The Villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, the pool was checked every few days by the Maintenance man, who was very helpful and will tell you all the best places to visit and for the best places to eat. We had a lovely relaxing holiday in a fabulous villa and will not hesitate to recommend or book this again. Response: Thank you for your kind words.
