Attractive spacious apartment in secure private development on the Baviera Golf Complex, just 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport.
This1st floor apartment has lift access, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and a SW facing terrace overlooking the golf course ahead, with the sea on the left and the Al Almijara mountains on the right.
In the grounds there is a large swimming pool with lifeguard cover from 1st June to 30th September, a paddle tennis court and a play area for children with swings and slide. Caleta de Valez beach and restaurants are 10 minutes on foot.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Our apartment is centrally position for exploring Andalucia, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Seville, Marbella, Ronda, Granada, Sierra Nevada, and Almeria are all within a 2-3 hour drive.
Caleta da Velez area
A promenade runs along the Mediterranean coastline from the marina at Caleta to the end of Torre del Mar and is a pleasant walk, passing a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. During the summer months there are market stalls, children’s fun fairs and local open-air entertainment. Sun lounges and parasols are available for hire on many parts of the beach.
Malaga has the Pablo Picasso foundation and museum, well worth a visit. Nerja is a lovely old town 20 mins drive and close by is the ‘white town” of Frigiliana. Both have good restaurants and shops. Also worth exploring are the caves at Nerja.
Granada’s Alhambra and science park are not to be missed and take about 2 hours drive. The mountain ski resort in the sierra Nevada is also approximately 2 hours away. You could ski in the morning and water-ski in the afternoon.
Other things to do locally are: golf at Baviera golf -(book fees / buggy hire / make reservations at www.bavieragolf.com) and also at Anoreta golf (18 hole) 15 minutes drive from the apartment. Cycles for hire at Torre del Mar, fishing trip and a variety of other water sports be arranged directly with staff at the marina / Caleta port.
Gokarting is available in Torre del Mar, water park. The Aquavelis Waterpark in Torre del Mar, scuba diving club in Nerja (see www.scubadoospain.com)
How to get there
Fly to Malaga airport. (Easy Jet, Monarch, BMI Baby and Aerlingus). Some great bargains to be had this year. There are many car hire companies renting cars at Malaga Airport (Crown, Record, Lido, Europe, Hertz etc.) and you can get cheaper rates on the internet by booking in advance. It's an easy drive and takes aprox 40 minutes. Follow signs out of the airport towards Almeria and Motril and motorway A7/ E15. Continue on this Road until you get to Exit 274 Caleta de Velez. The apartment is about 1 mile from here. By Train- Take Train into Malaga (about 10 mins and then a coach to Torre del Mar) It's then a short taxi ride or 3/4 hour walk to apartment.

There is a large swimming pool, with a beach style entry to the shallow end and a resident lifeguard during opening hours.
The pool opens on the 1st June until the 30th September at present but hopefully this will be extended until the end of October (will update this site when confirmed).
There are landscaped gardens around the pool that can be used for sunbathing, and also changing rooms with toilets and showers. A paddle tennis court is available and children's play area with swings slides etc.
Conditions
Pets may be allowed at owners' discretion. £50 supplement for Easter and half term holidays.
10% to secure booking and balance paid 6 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. £200 deposit returned on return of keys less any deductions for damage to property.
