This High Standard Villa situated in the middle of nature in the village of LLofriu, neighbouring the house of the famous writer Josep Pla, as 2 km from Palafrugell and Aigua Blava, it is a warm blend of exoticism, tradition and naturalness.

It consists of one L-shaped floor, open to the four winds, as an island of calm surrounded by fields of olive trees, construction of a typical Mediterranean “ampurdanesa” atmosphere, but by its colonial-style decor, antique doors, stone Buddha’s, takes us to distant Asian countries, a surprisingly pleasant and welcoming mixture. The garden is composed of several environments.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

The Costa Brava land of sea, light and gastronomy, stretches along some 200 km of coastline in the Mediterranean area, in the north-eastern part of Catalonia and the Baix Empordá being its south. Calella de Palafrugell area

Enjoy the diversity of spectacular coastal and mountain landscapes. For those who love outdoor attractions you will find many long beaches like Pals and beautiful hidden coves and fishing villages and smaller beaches as those of Aigua Blava, Tamariu, Calella de Palafrugell, Sa Tuna and many more, other medium size as Llafranc. Off course all invite swimming and sunbathing, but for water sports lovers there are many possibilities, sailing-motor boats-diving (Llafranc, Sa Tuna, Tamariu, Estartit - Las Medes being the most important place, a protected natural marine reserve), Golf at 10 min (Pals and Gualta), horseback riding (Begur, Pals) and for nature and lovers there are many paths and nature reserves for hiking.

On the other hand there is a huge cultural activity, you may visit historic medieval villages nearby (Peratallada and Pals), Roman Ruins (Empuria Brava), and art museums including the Dali museum in Figueras or Miro and Picasso museums in Barcelona, also you may enjoy summer concerts, festivals and celebrations.

Another highlight of your stay in this region is its surprising gastronomy. There are a variety of restaurants facing the sea and the interior offers wonderful highly classified cuisine. This region is where you can find the most internationally known chefs worldwide. Spanish and Catalonian wines, increasingly recognized, can be tasted in specialized places for this purpose.

The entrance to the villa through a forged gate into a fresh garden area will lead you to a porch where an antique door opens into a small lobby, from where it divides. To the right it will lead you to 3 bedrooms and straight to the living room with its high ceiling beams, and a large fireplace, equipped with a long table that can sit comfortably 10 persons, a large L-shaped sofa, TV, DVD and a stereo. This area can be integrated with the garden by opening the sliding windows overlooking the garden.

In the bottom left a door will take you to the kitchen, fully equipped and a large table. In its corner there is a service room and in the other a laundry room, where a door leads into the garden and barbecue area, reverting back to the other end of the kitchen another door takes you back to the lobby.

Following straight through the living-dining room, you will find the vast master bedroom suite, where the windows are integrated into the garden and the bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower.

Going back to the lobby to the other side a broad-aisle dealer (overlooking the garden), will lead you to 2 large bedrooms with double beds, both with individual bathrooms, and another small room with single bed.
The garden is composed of several environments. The house is like a an island of calm, on one side surrounded by fields of olive trees, and on the other you’ll find a pergola decorated in the same style of the house, an oasis where you can enjoy the tranquillity in the shadow contemplating the panoramic view of the fields and the medieval village of Pals, also perfect to enjoy al- fresco dinners watching the stars. There is a barbecue annexed to kitchen.
