Calci is a typical rural village and testifies the life in the countryside of the and of the 19th century. Our Agriturismo property is surrounded by twenty Hectares of fields where you can walk and where we produce wheat, olive oil and wine.

Though the Agriturismo is part of a bigger estate situated in Calcinaia where we grow sugar beets, sunflowers, and wheat. The main building is a magnificent 18th century Villa where the owner lives with his family the whole year; which was extensively refurbished during the 19th century.

Attached to the Villa are two large farm buildings which have been turned into apartments and house of the agriturismo. Agriturismo Villa Rosselmini is at the bottom of a small and ancient Village called Calci, surrounded by the hills that divide Pisa from Lucca, closed to the major artistic towns in Tuscany (20 Km to Lucca, 10 Km to Pisa, 50 Km to Florence.) and also closed to the seaside (15 Km.).

For those who like sports, Calci offers tennis course, foot or bike trekking on the hills, golf curses at 20 km far away. Pisa has an international airport at 15 Km from the property; from Pisa to Calci there is regular public transport. There are in Calci many artistic attraction; the best known is a Marvelous Certosa of the eighteen century where the monks were living till 1980; it has been now transformed into a natural history museum worth seeing especially with Children.

Up the hills you can find little homely restaurants, called trattorie, and you can enjoy the fresh air of the hills after sunbathing at the seaside or in the swimming pool. The apartment is situated in an old house carefully restructured in an ancient style with modern facilities; furnished in traditional Tuscan style.

The estate building were built in the 18th and 19th centuries and have an old-world charm. he apartment is independent and has a kitchen/kitchenette, bedrooms and bathroom. The apartment that surround the Garden of the Villa have free access and use of it; all the apartments have free use of the swimming pool from 15 may to 30 September.
