About the home

The spacious two bedroom 1st floor apartment has 2 balconies surrounded by lush green tropical gardens, one of which is overlooking the pool, is furnished to a high standard with air conditioning/ fans in all rooms and fitted kitchen with granite worktops. The master bedroom has a double bed and is en suite, a separate bathroom/toilet, and there is a second double bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Both bedrooms have wardrobes..
The Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances.
The holiday complex at little Baga was completed in 2007 and was rated a 4-star resort by a leading operator. The environment in the complex is very green and kept clean to a very high standard. There is also a large pool which is open from early morning till evening, There is 24 hour security in the complex.
The beaches at nearby Baga and Calangute are very clean with soft white sand, and the local people are very hospitable and friendly. Eating out is inexpensive and good quality at Arpora and nearby Calangute and Candolim.
The resort is also ideally located to visit all the popular spots in Goa (can provide you with details).
This is a place where if you have been once, you want to go again and again..

*In addition to rental fee, we also need a £100 security deposit to be held against any damages that may occur in the apartment during the rental period [to be paid with final balance]

The Goa / West India / Goa region

Goa is situated on the west coast of India and is an area of outstanding natural beauty, excellent beaches and lovely churches and temples. The local people are very friendly, and the unique mix of traditional Indian and Portuguese cultures make it a popular tourist destination for foreigners and locals alike.
Goa was formerly under the Portuguese and this is apparent by the Colonial Architecture in Old Goa Town.
The main tourist season is from November to April with the most popular months being December and January. The monsoon season is from June to September with rain falling heavily for a short period each day, leaving the rest of the day often warm and pleasant. The temperatures during this season range between 28 to 32 degrees Celsius and is ideal for somebody wanting a quiet holiday break.

The Calangute / Baga Beach area

Baga is basically an extension of Calangute and tourists come here to relax on the beautiful beach during the day and dance until late at night at the popular night clubs in Tito's lane.
The Baga Beach is walking distance and is about 1km from the Resort. The Beach is very clean with white sand and numerous shacks to provide shelter, food and drinks.
Water sports on the Beach include para-sailing, jet-king and boat rides.
The Resort is about 10km from Mapsa, a busy Town with outdoor Market and 15km from the Capital city Panjim which offers shops, restaurants and daily Boat River cruises with live bands.

Little Baga / Calangute is approximately 45 km from Dabolim airport.
There are regular direct flights with Monarch and Thompson Airlines or via Mumbai from a number of UK airports.
Direct flights are from Manchester, Birmingham and London Gatwick.
It is also accessible internally via Thivim Railway Station (approx 15km from the resort).
You can now get pre-paid Taxis outside the Airport, about 50 yards down the road (you will be given a receipt) - these are Government run and therefore safe and you will be charged the correct amount - it will be approx Rs 1,000 from the Airport to the Resort.

“Bluebeach Apartments/Resort (now known as the Zeal Resort)” We have been coming to Arpora for a few years now and the location of this apartment was perfect for our stay. Arpora is quiet Goan village which offers all your needs including a few excellent bars/ restaurants, all your general shopping needs including groceries and a great hair cut and wet shave. Arpora is a short cheap taxi trip away from the Calungute and Baga areas which host the beaches, silver markets, shopping, eating/drinking out and is much more tourist geared. The apartment was excellent, clean, overlooking the pool and very spacous. The pool was clean and the resturant food excellent, although not licenced (bring your own which makes eating in very cheap). Thoroughly great time and perfect location.

-"My family and I stayed at this resort in March 2010. It is a beautiful apartment with two spacious bedrooms. The apartment is well equipped with everything you require for a self catering holiday. It is set in a very tranquil resort with a lovely clean swimming pool and well maintained gardens with an on site securtiy guard. Matha the maid is fantastic. She was there to greet us in the early hours on the morning and keeps the apartment spotless. The resort is on the outskirts of Baga but an autorickshaw costs peanuts to get to the hustle and bustle. However there are shops and restaurants within walking distance. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, and next time I am in Baga, we hope to stay again
