The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The weather on the Costa del Sol is the best and most reliable in Europe. Calahonda is situated at the heart of the Costa del Sol midway between Fuengirola and Marbella from where you can explore the area locally and further afield. There are good local transport facilities but we would recommend that you hire a car for at least part of the time.
There are miles of sandy beaches and clear blue seas and all the necessary amenities, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks and medical facilities are within walking distance.

Calahonda / Jardines de Calahonda area

There are many nearby towns to visit, Benalmadena with its beautiful marina and Tivoli World Fun Park. Nearby typical Spanish towns of La Cala and Fuengirola with its Aqua Park. Enjoy a trip to the historic mountain towns of Mijas and Rhonda with its famous gorge and bull ring (the oldest in Spain) Close by Marbella and Puerto Banus are famed for their night life often boasting partronage from the rich and famous. Numerous excellent golf courses are also to be enjoyed by the golfing enthusiast. Excursions can be organised to visit Gibralitar and the historic city of Granada with its magnificent Alhambra Palace.
