Home description
Great one bedroom apartment located in a gated community in Calahonda next to the El Zoco shopping centre. The kitchen area has full cooking facilities, washing machine and full range of utensils. There is a very attractive south facing terrace with frontal sea views.
The apartment has a good size lounge with double glass doors that leads to the terrace as well as a big window that lets in lot of light. There is also a fire place in the lounge and it is furnished with a sofa-bed, dining table and chairs. The terrace has a table and chairs for al fresco dining. The bedroom has a double bed and built in wardrobes. The bathroom has a bathtub, washbasin, toilet and bide.
Calahonda itself has a mini train service which stops close by the apartment allowing easy access to all the main areas in the local community such as the big Tennis club "Club del Sol" with 12 tennis courts, squash and paddle tennis and Calahonda Golf.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world: its miles of beautiful, sandy beaches and fantastic weather have kept tourists flocking back year after year. The coast boasts one of the highest concentrations of world-class golf courses, to the extent that it is often dubbed "The Costa del Golf." For families there are theme parks, including water parks, go-karting, safari parks and many beautiful public gardens!
Calahonda area
Calahonda is situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol and is one of the most popular destinations for both holiday makers and expatriates. The town is located between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella and is just 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport.
The wonderful climate which offers over 300 days of sunshine makes this an ideal destination any time of the year year.
In Calahonda there are four excellent golf courses with a further six courses within 10km. Also there are restaurants, shops, three commercial centres and sports facilities . A total of 45 restaurants, bars and cafes as well as supermarkets and seven banks can also be found. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars are just around the corner, the beach is only 6 minutes walk and the wonderful pleasure harbour of Cabopino (considered to be the prettiest on the coast) with it's superb restaurants and beaches is only 2 km.
A 15 min drive to the west will bring you to the heart of Marbella and its sophisticated night-life and designer shops.
How to get there
Calahonda is an approx 20 minute drive from the Malaga airport.
You can hire a car in the airport or take a taxi (approx 50 Euros).
Train from the airport to Fuengirola then a taxi fare of approx 15 Euros, or the train then bus 2 Euros.

Further details outdoors: The complex enjoys beautiful tropical communal gardens with a large swimming pool. The apartment is located less than 100 meters from the restaurants and shops and only 250 metres from the beach. There is a gym with heated swimming pool just 200 meters away from the complex.

A refundable breakage deposit of 200 Euros will be required. 25% booking deposit, balance due six weeks prior to departure.
