Quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance of all the amenities of Calahonda, including paddle tennis courts and the driving range. It is just 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Cabopino beach and only twenty minutes from the famous resort of Marbella.
The house benefits from its own out door jacuzzi and very private roof terrace. The living area leads out to the terrace and into the beautiful, mature community gardens.
With one double and two twin bedrooms the townhouse is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. We also have a travel cot for hire.
This house is in an ideal location to take full advantage of all that Calahonda has to offer.

The house has a terrace with private jacuzzi leading out into the fabulous community gardens. The gardens are extensive and there is even a sea view. The La Cornisa Urbanisation also boasts its own tapas bar where they serve an excellent steak! The house has a front garden (unusual for this area of Spain), as well as a long driveway for as many as 4 cars.

Out of respect for other visitors, we request that smoking is confined to the terraces only.

To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit of £250 is required in advance, with the balance paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
* Please note that the townhouse must be vacated by 11:00 on day of departure.
* It is recommended that you take out adequate travel insurance.
* We also hold use the holding deposit as a security deposit which is held in case of any accidental damage sustained. This will be repaid within 14 days following satisfactory key fob return and property inspection.
NOTE: We will NOT keep your deposit if you break a glass or anything minor. In this event we would appreciate that you inform us of this so we can arrange replacement.
* Any accident of whatever nature that occurs within the booked accommodation for whatever reason is the responsibility of the respective client, not agent or the owner.

The Costa del Sol region
Costa del Sol has been at the top of European holiday makers destinations for so long because of its unique position in the Med.
With over 320 days of lovely sunshine and miles upon miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches, this really is a place to come and relax and enjoy yourselves.
The apartment is within easy reach of various other resorts and attractions:
Fuengirola is central for numerous activities and is 15 mins away from Calahonda. It has 5 miles of sandy beaches, an open air Zoo and Aqua park. Sohail Castle is situated at the West end of the promenade and has a park which hosts many festivals throughout the year. Fuengirola has a multitude of nightlife activities, varied restaurants and late-night/early morning bars for the young at heart.
Benalmadena is only about 25 mins away from Calahonda and is easily accessible by car, taxi or bus. Benalmadena Costa has a 9km stretch of beach and a 2km promenade which culminates in its fabulous marina which has been voted the best in the world. The area is a constant hive of activity both day and night housing many cosmopolitan shops and restaurants with many day and evening boat trips going out from the harbour on an hourly or daily basis to fish or just to dolphin watch and sunbathe. Slowly sail around the marina in an old Chinese Junk or take a 30 minute thrilling speed boat ride down the coast..There is also a diving and Sea Life Centre within the harbour complex.
Set back from Benalmadena in the hills you have Benalmadena Pueblo, a traditional Spanish village with authentic shops and tapas restaurants. Nearer the coast there is "Tivoli World" one of the best theme, entertainment parks on the coast which also has a huge cable car which you can travel in up to the mountains and enjoy one of the most amazing, magnificent views.
Calahonda is a 5 minutes drive away on the road to Marbella.There are three commercial centres here which house most of the development's 45 restaurants, cafeterias and pubs as well as seven banks, and several supermarkets.
The playgrounds of Marbella and Puerto Banus are also a short journey away, Marbella is 10-15 mins away and has something for everyone. It's sea front water sports centres offer jet ski-ing, sailing, cable ski-ing and balloon flights. Stroll along the golden mile and dine at some of the most sumptuous restaurants that the Mediterranean has to offer. Marbella is much more cosmopolitan than most towns on the Costa del Sol and is a place to, " people watch" for the many celebs that frequent the area; it is often compared to the likes of Monaco and Portofino.
The Glitz and glamour of Puerto Banus is between 15-20 mins away, it houses the yachts and speedboats of the rich and famous. Expensive designer shops are here along with a Casino, a Commercial Shopping Centre, a Corte Ingles department store, a Marine Observatory and a multi cinema with films shown with their original soundtrack.
Gibraltar is also approximately a 50 minute drive away; a must see visit like stepping out of Spain back into England within 5 minutes! Here you have a multitude of English High Street stores and wines, spirits, perfumes and cigarettes are duty free. When you visit Gibraltar, you will find that the people are friendly, helpful and always polite. They are very proud and if you visit on September 10th (National Day), wear red and white to help celebrate and to fit in!
The locals speak Yanito - a combination of English and Spanish with a few unique words thrown in. The majority of people will also speak fluent English or Spanish.

The Calahonda area
Calahonda is one of the best positioned towns on the Costa Del Sol. Half way between Fuengirola and Marbella it has more than enough to keep everyone happy. With the beautiful towns of La Cala De Mijas and Cabopino port just a mile either way, you could not be any more central.
Calahonda has some of the best bars and restaurants. Max Beach for 5 star food & night club, El Oceana restaurant and piano bar both of which are on the beach,boasting stunning views. Eat the best food, drink good wine and dance with the sea breaking next to you.
Calahonda has many lively bars and a choice of cuisines...Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Swiss...you name it something to suit everybody taste!

Sept 09 - Hi Noelle, We had a fantastic time in the house it was perfect we really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and spacious, close to the strip which was good so we could both walk and have a drink without having to worry about driving. Sept 10 - La Cornisa (G14) 4 adults 26-35, me and one 22month old stayed at La Cornisa Sept 10. We were very pleased with the townhouse, this isn't self catering it is much much more, all the things you need when away from a great range of cooking utensils to a bucket and spade from a supply of spare bulbs to a torch - everything was really thought through. Perfect for rest and relaxation, beautiful setting and scenery with a downhill walk to the strip and a little further to supermarkets though we didn't walk back up the hill as we had a car (cabs only 6E). A great base to explore the area from family beaches to busy towns. The fridge and freezer were great for us, we cooked meals in and prepared picnics for the day. The gardens are just lovely to sit out in, for a short leisurely stroll at sunset. Staff clean the pool and water the gardens but never interrupt your holiday. Sam is a call away, is quick to respond and sort anything out however minor as well as having knowlege of the area. This was perfect for us in many ways, big enough for 5 adults and 1 toddler without being on top of each other with the different areas - roof terrace, pool, gardens, lounge - Ms Roberts - Birmingham
