Beautifully finished bedroom with double bed, extensive wardrobes (includes safe) / storage space and direct access through French doors to fabulous sun terrace with stunning sea views. Large en-suite shower room. Newly fitted modern open plan kitchen with breakfast bar. Includes hob, oven, microwave and fridge. Fully equipped.

Further details

A 25% booking deposit is required, with the balance and £200 refundable security deposit to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. The security deposit is refunded when the apartment keys have been returned, the apartment has been inspected for damages and safe return of leisure club membership cards - less cost of any damage or breakages.
Cleaning / maid service can be arranged during your break. All linen is provided except beach towels (please bring your own). A fee may be payable to our local agent for cleaning/laundry services (dependent on length of stay and usage etc). There is also a laundrette on site.
Welcome packs, containing essential groceries etc, can also be arranged through our local agent on request - these can be tailored to your needs.

The Costa del Sol region

Andalucia has over 300 days of sunshine every year! Out of season is normally very comfortable but you may need a cardigan in the evenings.
Of course the Costa del Sol has miles of gorgeous sandy beaches! and more than 60 courses on the Costa del Golf!
For the shopaholics there is everything you could ask for in the nearby upmarket resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus - both also offer fantastic nightlife. Gibraltar is well worth a visit, especially for cheap shopping, but don’t forget your passport!
There are fun water parks in Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Trivoli World, the biggest and best theme park on the coast, is in Benalmadena. Selwo Adventure Park, with beautifully presented wildlife & safari experiences, is also a great day out!

The Calahonda / Dona Lola Gold Crown Beach Resort area

Calahonda is a traditionally constructed, peaceful, Mediterranean coastal town, with none of the unsightly high rise hotels. There are numerous restaurants and bars to suit all tastes with the more hectic nightlife only 15 minute ride away. The gorgeous local beach at the marina of Cabopino is one of the best in southern Spain, it has beach bars, restaurants, clean sand and of course the lovely clear, warm Mediterranean sea. Calahonda also gives easy access to the numerous fantastic golf courses up and down the Costa del Golf.
Marbella 10 minutes drive, Puerto Banus 20 minutes drive, Gibraltar 30 minutes drive, Granada 1.5 hour drive, Mijas village 10 minutes drive.
Golf and excusions to both Gibraltar and North Africa are bookable at the Dona Lola Beach Resort reception. There is the bistro bar in the leisure centre, local beach bars, and within a couple of minutes walk from the apartment there are several more good-value bars & restaurants - including English, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, and a reasonably-priced 'open-all-day-buffet-restaurant'.
There is a handy mini-market on the complex and a Supersol just across the main road.
There are tennis courts, snooker, pool, and table-tennis tables on the complex. A great variety of activities are arranged for all ages throughout the day, from 5-a-side football, tennis / table-tennis competitions, French Boules games, and paella-making demonstrations. There are free Spanish lessons and free evening entertainment throughout the year. From Dona Lola you can walk along the beach for as long as you want in both directions.

Most low cost airlines fly into Malaga and there are several well known car hire companies based at the airport. Malaga airport has a direct motorway link to Calahonda with a driving/taxi time around 20mins. Dona Lola is on the main bus route for easy access to all surrounding towns, e.g. Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Mijas.

We can organise transport to and from Malaga Airport through our local agent - friendly U.K driver. This will cost around the same as a local taxi. Please ask for details.

We had a wonderful stay at your apartment over the Christmas period, and we were truly blessed with the weather, it was superb. Your apartment was an excellent base for us, the views, particularly at sunset were spectacular, and the upstairs terrace a proper little sun-trap. Louise is amazing, what a truly lovely girl!  We got lost on the way from the airport to Calahonda.... It was quite late so we agreed with Louise for her to come along and go over everything the next day, so she popped to make sure we were okay and go over how bits and pieces worked.  She does a super job for you....it's easy to see she loves your place and wants to make sure the 'new arrivals' look after it like it was their own, which of course we did!  Quite jealous really, wish it was mine! - Lilian & Andrew Cooper

Just want to let you know how much we loved your apartment. Over the last 15 years we have stayed at many resorts around the Costa Del Sol but both agreed the Elena was our favourite! It had everything & was like a real home. The Dona Lola complex was great, we used all the facilities & will definatley stay again.
