About the home

The property has an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with stunning sandy beach views from both the living room and master bedroom balconies both furnished with patio furniture enabling you to dine al fresco or share a romantic breakfast with panoramic views overlooking the Mediterranean sea on a clear day you can see Gibraltar & North Africa.
It's located on the gorgeous Dona Lola Complex, the resort is built around a tropical garden featuring palm trees and water falls which makes for a perfect holiday destination with facilities suitable for all, with an extensive range of facilities including a quiet adult heated pool and a 270 foot long outdoor swimming pool that stretches to the beach and two full size tennis courts.Resort indoor facilities include a Pool,Sauna, Steam Room, Spa Bath, Gymnasium, Pool Table, Snooker Room and Table Tennis.

The accommodation comprises of a large, comfortably furnished lounge with dining area.
There is also a full double sofa bed.
Full Air conditioning/heat in lounge and both bedrooms
Flat screen TV with some Sky Channels, BBC1, BBC2, and ITV and Channel 4.
X Box 360 with games or you can also bring some of your own.
The newly fitted kitchen includes washing machine, refrigerator, hob/hood, oven and a microwave.
The upper floor comprises a double bedroom with built in wardrobes and fabulous sea views, there is also a second bedroom with a double & single bed which is ideal for additional friends and family.
There is also a modern fully fitted shower room.
**We have a manager "Louise" living locally who will be there to meet and greet you on arrival and will visit at the end of your stay to receive the keys and return the deposit, this avoids sending/returning keys or breakages deposit**
She speaks English/ and Spanish and will only be a phone call away during your stay if you have any questions/concerns whilst at the apartment.

There are many good restaurants within the resort including Chinese, English, Italian, Indian and Spanish together with friendly bars.
DONA LOLA BEACH CLUB RESORT with its two outdoor pools, one catering for adults/children and a quite pool for adults only and one indoor pool with gym and sauna, jacuzzi, snooker table and fitness centre, there is also a children's play area on the resort.
Dona Lola is situated between Malaga Airport (30 minutes drive) and Marbella (ten minute drive). The resort is built around a tropical garden featuring palm trees and water falls and is ideal for families.

*Price includes full & unlimited access to the leisure centre for 4 people this gives entry to the Indoor/Outdoor pools, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Gymnasium, Snooker Room, under 16's get in free.

Conditions

Guests can check in after 1400hrs and should be checked out by 1100hrs, unless agreed in advance.
Strictly no smoking EXCEPT ON THE BALCONIES.
Refundable breakages deposit of Euros € 100 required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking and the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure, or immediately if booking is made within 8 weeks of departure date.
If you need to cancel please inform me as soon as possible, I will endever to re-let the dates of the holiday. If this is possible, I will refund the full amount paid, less any costs.

**CLEANING AND LINEN COSTS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE**, and if you book for two weeks a mid term towel and linen change IS INCLUDED.
Beach towels are not provided , please bring your own.

The Costa del Sol region

Nearby Marbella is a cosmipolitan town with many chic shops and a charming old town with the famous “Plaza de Naranjos” (orange square) with its buildings from the 1500’s. It also has a modern beach front promenade. Puerto Banus is the world famous port and playground of the rich and famous, see how many stars you can see. A great place for a night out. Gibraltar is well worth a visit especially for cheap shopping but don’t forget your passport

There are plenty of things to keep the kids happy as well as the kid in all of us. Torremolinos has the biggest water park in the area though there is a nearer one at Fuengirola both have many exciting rides. At Benalmadena is Trivoli World the biggest theme park on the coast which stays open well into the night. From there you can take the cable car ride which takes you over the town and up to one of the highest peaks in the mountains from there you get the most spectacular views of the whole coast. Benalmadena also has a large sea life centre.

The Calahonda / Dona Lola Gold Crown Beach Resort area

Dona Lola Gold Crown Beach Resort has golf and excusions to both Gibraltar and North Africa bookable at reception.

Calahonda is a sympathetically constructed township with no high rise hotels. It is located right on the Mediterranean coast. It has numerous restaurants of all types from local Spanish tapas to Swiss!! The area is generally peaceful but if you want an active nightlife on your holiday Marbella and Puerto Banus are within an easy 15 minute ride away. The local beach at the marina of Cabopino is one of the best in southern Spain it has beach bars, restaurants, clean sand and of course the lovely clear, warm Mediterranean sea.For those of you interested in being a little more active on holiday there are a large variety of activities right on the doorstep including tennis, mountain walking, golf, theme parks, water parks, wildlife reserves or just sight seeing among the numerous white villages of the area. All these activities can be booked locally upon arrival.

We can arrange for you to be picked up from Malaga airport and taken directly to the apartment for the same fee as a local taxi - 50.00euros.

Most low cost airlines fly into Malaga airport and there are several well known car hire companies based at the airport, Malaga airport has a direct motorway link to Calahonda with a driving time of approx 20mins. A cheaper way would involve a train to Fueringola costing approx 2 Euros (every 30 min) then a bus/taxi to the resort.

“Lovely apartment, excellent location and fantastic views. Right on the beach!” Apartment lovely and clean. Many personal touches added such as the provision of beach toys, umbrella etc. which would be a great bonus in the summer months, also an x box for the gamers. Collection of the key well organised and a welcome pack provided which we have not had with other apartments. Beach is seconds away from your front door and there is lovely views of the sea from both the bedroom and lounge balconies. Lovely bar and cafe on site with very friendly staff. The spa is also lovely, we used it every day. Both outdoor pools are great and spotlessly clean, although very cold - it was December however!! I would gladly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Just a short e-mail to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your apartment recently.everything was great- the meeting and the welcome at the entrance and of couse the fantastic views from the balconies over the garden to the sea were fantastic.the apartment itself had everything you could ever want and was spotless.it was really a pleasure to have the use of such a lovely place.of couse we were spoilt for choice when it came to restaurants in the area.we also used the sports centre which was lovely the indoor pool jacuzzi and steam room .the pools on the site were ideal having the adults only one available when you wanted a quite relaxing time and the main pool when you felt like it were a great idea once again many thanks and hopefully we can return again soon, all the best, jim and jennifer.

Hi steve, Arrived back from 10 days in your apartment and would just like to say a very big thank you. The town house/apartment was fantastic best one we have stayed in on dona lola so far and we really appreciated the milk,tea and bread waiting for us in the apartment most appreciated especially when you arrive late at night like we did plus it was nice to have a contact over there if anything went wrong which thankfully it didnt.overall your place helped make a wonderful holiday for us and we hope to stay there again in the near future.Thanks again.
