The apartment is in a prime spot adjacent to two swimming pools, great for popping back for drinks or snacks!
Accessed via main bedroom and the living room is a 42.5 sq meter terrace. It is furnished with a large modern patio table and 6 chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. There are 4 extremely comfortable sun beds for you to relax! Lots of space for the children to play games. Enjoy the stunning views! A road train runs from just down the road and into Calahonda. Ideal if you want a drink or just to relax. The children will love it!
The apartment is right next to 2 swimming pools. The closest, just a couple of steps away, and is on the same level as the apartment, ideal if you have small children or someone less able in your holiday group. Both pools have a pool hut with toilet/sink etc. The pools are not deep so ideal for children. There is a childrens pool on site a bit further from the apartment.
• Rental rates are based on 4 persons staying at the apartment. A price will be fixed at the time of booking depending upon length of stay and numbers staying. A refundable damage deposit may be requested
• Deposit = 20% of rental price, balance payable 8 weeks before departure.

Although deemed as sleeping 4 in absolute luxury we have airbeds + a childs cot if required, so can accomodate up to 8 persons. Price on application.
The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round.
The Calahonda / Las Palmeras de Calahonda area
Calahonda on the Costa Del Sol lies midpoint between the trendy Marbella resort frequented by the rich and famous and Fuengirola. Las Palmeras offers the holidaymaker the opportunity to stay in an urbanisation of quality and prestige.
Calahonda’s position on the Mediterranean coast ensures it is blessed with a fantastic climate, hot summers with cool breezes and mild winters makes it a wonderful spot to holiday. Calahonda’s strength is its tranquil lifestyle, spacious plots and numerous green areas. Calahonda has a certain rustic charm which it holds onto. Its charm makes the visitor visit time and time again.
The urbanisation stretches from the coast to the gentle hills of Malaga. Climb high to view the fantastic views of the beaches coastal towns and even on a good day North Africa and Gibraltar.
Las Palmeras de Calahonda is situated at the top of Calle de Don Jose Orbaneja. The complex has superb great views of the mountains and rural landscape down to the Mediterranean Sea.
Calahonda has a good selection of golf courses and its proximity to Malaga airport (25 minutes) makes it a serious competitor for a golf holiday, a mid-week or weekend break or a longer holiday. Some say this area is one of the best golf areas in Europe. However the area has much to offer than just golf and happily caters for all tastes. For those into relaxing on a beach or water sports can enjoy the delights of Puerto Cabopino 5 minutes from Calahonda. For a fun day out visit the Aqua Parks in Mijas and Fuengiorla where the whole family can enjoy the trills and spills of the wave pools, water slides, adventure river and much more.
For a relaxing trip visit the Sea Life Centre found in the marina at Benalmadena. The Centre contains more than 100 species of fish. If however you would prefer to see the real underwater world, book a diving trip with the ‘Happy Divers Club’ as well as seeing a variety of marine life you will have the opportunity to see ancient ship wrecks and corals.
Calahonda is a great location to find a decent bar. The majority of the Calahonda bars are in the multi-storey commercial centre, El Zoco. Calahonda festivals are open to all the fiestas and traditions happening in the surrounding areas. Calahonda is situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol and is one of the most popular destinations for both holiday makers and expatriates.
The town is located between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella, in the province of Malaga. Just a short distance from Calahonda you will find places such as the luxury Puerto Banus where stunning yachts, leisure facilities, restaurants and boutiques are located. Due to the new toll road you will be able to get from and to the Malaga international airport in 20 minutes.
Calahonda's position affords a great starting point to venture out for walks in the mountains, visits to typical whitewashed villages where you can soak up the local history.
There is so much to do and see that you might find you wish to return for another holiday!

great place to stay very private and plenty of luxury, the apartment is large well decorated and has everything you will need and loads of little extras such as books and games maps ect.
The view is awsome as it is high up in the hills, but on that note i would advise you to hire a car to get about although there are plenty of taxis to run you up and down.
In the week we were there only one other person came to use the pool for about ten mins,
apart from that it was like having a private pool, we had a small problem with the tv and with the security gate trying to enter the apartments but with one phone call these were solved instantly by the lady who looks after the place,who by the way is english friendly and will go out of her way to help with anything she can.
We spent the mornings having breakfast on the very large balcony accompanied by the sound of a turkey some crickets and various other animal noises from a nearby smallholding, that was very relaxing indeed.
Theres also a great little beach at the foot of the resort, all in all the best place we have stayed and will definatly be returnig to this little paridise.
If you play golf i would suggest el chaperal as a great challange, played mira flores as well but wasnt impressed the greens were very slow and in bad need of repair, but there are loads of courses nearby so you really are spoilt for choice.

The apartment is very spacious with all mod-cons, two bedrooms and two bathrooms so perfect for two couples. very large balcony with lovely balcony seating/dining, lounging furniture. calahonda has lovely beaches and good services without it being too commercialised. A car is vital though and then you can reach the nearby resorts of Fuengerola and Marbella.
Weather in early April was much better than home, and we went to the beach several times. Swimming pools in the complex clean and sheltered with good loungers etc.

A very spacious and well equipped apartment offering tremendous views from an elevated position in the upper hills of Calahonda. A car is an essential requirement if you plan to get out and about in the surrounding area, or even for travelling to the nearest large supermarket. The apartment served as the perfect base for regular trips along the coastline, with the beach at Cabopino one of our favourite destinations. This rental proved to be a good choice for our own needs and we must thank the owner for being so efficient and obliging with all matters pertaining to our stay.
