Our studio is located just ten minutes walk from the sea. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger resorts such as Marbella, the apartment has easy access to all amenities. There is a local market for bargain hunting, two excellent supermarkets and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The apartment benefits from a lovely shared pool, with a cafe/bar open from April to October. Leading from the living room area is a spacious south facing patio and garden area with stunning sea views, where you can dine or barbecue with complete privacy. There is satellite TV which receives BBC, ITV, Sky Sports, and BBC radio 1 -5.
You also have the added benefit of being an automatic member of Club Miraflores with full reception service and fabulous restaurant just 5 minutes walk away, through tropical gardens. Here you can enjoy fine food as well as a weekly international entertainment programme. For the more active, Miraflores offers a wide variety of sports facilities including swimming pools, tennis, lawn bowls as well as the adjoining 18 hole Miraflores Golf Course with its own Golf Academy.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
This part of the coast is known to enjoy sunshine for over 300 days a year. The weather in winter, spring and autumn is like a good English summer. Even in August and September the weather is not stifling as there is always a gentle sea breeze. The scenery is stunning - sandy beaches, and mountains reaching down to the blue sea.
It is also a great spot for exploring Andalusia. Inland lakes, gorges and mountains are under 2 hrs drive away. You can drive or take coach trips further afield to the ancient city of Alhambra, the Roman bridge at Ronda ,visit the apes on Gibralta, or even spend the day in Morocco!
If you prefer to spend time in the old Spain, head inland to the mountain village of Mijas, about 20 minutes away, and enjoy the untouched old white houses, narrow streets, quaint little cafes and a panoramic view of the whole coastline.
Calahonda / Miraflores area
There is an easy walk from the apartment, down the hill to the sea, then along the beach to the little town of La Cala de Mihas, where the beach is excellent as are the cafe/bars dotted along the way ! Here you will find an open market held twice a week, and a few miles inland from La Cala, the Costa del Sol Race Course.
A short journey westward, about 15 mins by car, will take you to Marbella where you can browse round the cobbled Old Town, or stroll under the palm trees along the promenade. Drive for another five minutes along the coast, or take the catamaran ferry across the bay to Puerto Banus where you can shop till you drop in designer stores or enjoy a cool glass of wine in one of the fantastic quay side restaurants.

* Fly to Malaga - Miraflores is just 30 km from the airport. (a very easy journey and only 30 mins by car) * Cheap flights are available from Easyjet or Monarch to Malaga. * Car hire is available from carjet.co.uk * Trains are cheap and run regularly between the airport and Fuengirola, then a short bus ride or taxi. * A taxi from the airport is approximately 50 euros. * We will send you details of the journey from the airport by car when you book, but it's virtually one road !
