The apartment is next to the shops, bars and restaurants in Calahonda and 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's prime location means that it is an ideal holiday destination for all ages and types of holiday makers. A car is not a must for carrying heavy bottles of water or for getting about.
Some apartments of this size are rented on the basis of occupancy for 6-7 people.This apartment has a maximum occupancy of 4 people, plus a baby or toddler, for your comfort.- with the standards you would expect in your own home.
The apartment has two bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, one with a king size bed and a fully equipped en suite bathroom with a bath with shower over, w.c, bidet and wash basin. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is a separate shower room.
Lovely contemporary dining area. Tastefully furnished lounge area.
The large balcony which overlooks the attractive gardens has a three piece rattan suite, ideal for relaxing at the end of the day. It does get the sun- until very late.
There are sunbeds by the pool but in case there is a shortage the apartment has it's own supply of sunbeds.

The apartment is tastefully furnished to an exceptionally high standard and is part of a luxurious, private, well maintained development. Despite its proximity to the bars and shops and restaurants in Calahonda, the development is quite and peaceful but near enough to the more bustling resorts and beaches for those who want to sample the same. Private tennis courts are available, across the road from the apartment. For golf enthusiasts there are innumerable golf courses a few minutes drive away.
The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom / shower room. There is a separate shower room with w.c and wash basin. Hairdryers are provided. Smoke alarm fitted. The lounge/ dining room has two, 2 seater leather settees, a 32" LCD satellite tv offering all the major channels, a dvd player (with a selection of dvds), a cd player and a contemporary (extendable)dining table and seating for four.
The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hood with cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board and all necessary utensils.
Hot and cold air conditioning is installed.
Additional heaters are available in the lounge / dining area and both bedrooms, when a quick blast of instant heat is required.
The apartment benefits from the use of a lift.
Cots and high chairs can be made available at an additional charge when required.

The development and each block within the development is accessed through secured gates to maintain privacy and security.
The larger resorts of Marbella ( 10-15 minutes drive), Puerto Banus (15-20minutes drive), and the market town of La Cala (6 minutes drive ) can all be reached using the inexpensive local bus service. The bus fare to Marbella is less the 3 euro's (2010 price).
Lovely nearby small 'resorts' to go to and eat at within 10 minutes walking-e.g. try 'Max's Beach' or the Italian restaurant @ Riviera.

Really flexible about arrival and departure times provided details are agreed at the time of booking. Without prior agreement during peak periods access is after 16.00hours on the day of arrival,departure by 10.00am. .
Maximum of 4 persons allowed in the apartment ( we can accommodate 1 baby/ toddler in addition).
Bedding & towels are changed on a weekly basis for short term lets of up to 2 weeks. For longer term lets this will be by agreement.

We can book an airport pick up on your behalf with a firm that is used to collecting keys from the managing agents and knows the area well. This costs 55Euro's (before midnight), this is price per car (up to 4 people) each way.You pay the firm direct. Our free service is offered to assist you with your travel plans and provide you with contact details for your transportation.
Welcome packs available; BASIC 15GBP – Bread, Flora, Jam, Ham, Cheese slices, Bacon, 6 eggs, 5 litres water, 1 litre milk and tea, coffee and sugar sachets. DELUXE 25GBP – as basic plus bottle red wine, bottle white wine, 6 pack beer.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa del Sol is renowned for its beaches, resorts, golf courses and of course the excellent weather. The Costa del Sol has on average over 320 days of sunshine each year and is an ideal location for an off peak break when you are longing for bright skies.
Apart from sunbathing, shopping and golfing activities there is plenty to do and see in the region, beautiful countryside in the nearby mountains, historic towns such as Mijas with its breathtaking views and the former fishing village and market town of La Cala de Mijas.
Water parks, a zoo and the famous Tivoli World are only a short drive away.
The Calahonda / El Zoco area
Calahonda is situated on the Mijas Costa between Fuengirola and Marbella. It is an ideal location from which to explore the Costa Del Sol and surrounding areas.
There are an extensive range of bars and restaurants in Calahonda to suit all tastes, providing plentiful entertainment for those who wish to unwind after a hard days sunbathing with a visit to a friendly local restaurant.
For those who want to party until dawn, the nearby resorts of Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus will provide a vast choice of venues.

We had a lovely relaxing 2 week holiday. The apartment was a real home from home with everything we needed, we couldn't have asked for more. The gardens and swimming pool were very well kept and an ideal place to relax and there were plenty of sunbeds available. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and 2 supermarkets within walking distance, we manage fine without a car. We did use the cheap and reliable local bus service. We also used the pick up and drop off service provided through Sol Finders. This was an excellent & professional service and would recommend it. |

First class home from home it's well appointed and in a great location for supermarkets, restaurants and local shops. South facing balcony overlooking beautiful garden and swimming pools is peaceful and a pleasure to enjoy. We visited Ann's apartment for 2 weeks in July and couldn't of asked for a better service. Everything is just how it has been described in the advert. Ann was really helpful providing us with great information of the local area etc. We rented a Car for the 2 weeks (which isn't necessary) although we did go and site see some great places - Puerto Bonus, Marbella Old Town, Ronda Old Town, Gibraltar and The Aqua Park. The car was also great for Capabino beach which we felt was the nicest (you do need a car to get here - 10mins drive) Unfortunately the air con was broke when we arrived, but we informed Sol Finders, who had a engineer come and look at it the next day - which was fantastic service. The apartment and its surroundings are really relaxing and perfect for a family with young children as its very secure. The pool area is great. We ate at some great restaurants that are within very easy walking distance our favorite was "The Far Isle" which had great service and great food All in all this was a very relaxing holiday from booking through to departure and we would love to come again Response: Thanks Ann |

I recently stayed for a week in your apartment with my sister. The apartment is lovely, clean, spacious and is in a really good location, close to bars + restaurants, supermarket and bus stops. Both Ann and the management company 'solfinders' are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble and they are able to sort any problems asap. Also, we were able to stay in the apartment until we had to depart for our flight which is a really good advantage as we could spend an extra day by the pool.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back and stay here again.

April 2010-We are two girls in our twenties who wanted a nice relaxing holiday in the south of Spain to escape the busy life of London. Having previously lived in Marbella I wanted to stay in a location nearby where I could easily access all Marbella has to offer without having to pay the price! I found Ann’s apartment online and it looked lovely so we decided to go there for a week in April 2010. It did not disappoint. The apartment itself is decorated to a very tasteful and high standard and the gardens are very quiet, well maintained and with a good sized pool. We were also pleasantly surprised to find all the little extras in the kitchen we would need on our holiday but may not necessarily want to buy for a few days such as condiments and clingfilm etc. and also details such as hotel soaps in the bathroom, which did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately our return journey home coincided with the volcanic ash disruption. In our bad luck we were also very lucky that Ann was so considerate. She called us from the UK and helped us out as much as possible by allowing us to stay longer in the apartment until we could return home. We were extremely grateful for this and the agency was also very helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. It is close to many supermarkets, local bars, the beach and also the bus stops which came in very useful for getting around! The area is very ‘English’ but it is also very accessible to other areas along the coast where more variety can be found.Thank you for being a great property owner! A Turner
2009-My husband and two teenage daughters spent two weeks at this beautiful apartment in August this year. We had a fabulous holiday due to the quality and location of Medina Del Zoco. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and the standard of furnishings and cleanliness is second to none. We felt at home as soon as we got there and found everything we needed in the apartment. The location in Calahonda is brilliant - so near to all the supermarkets, shops and restaurants yet extremely peaceful in the apartment and beautiful gardens. There is no need for a car as there is a brand new SuperSol just to the rear of the apartment and the main road is a mere 5 minute walk where you can get the bus to Marbella or Fuengirola.The restaurants in El Zoco are wonderful and offer a wide variety of choice and value for money and best of all are a 5 minute stroll from the apartment. The owner and management team are so so helpful and made the whole experience as stress free as possible and were always at the end of the phone if you need anything. All in all we had an amazing holiday in a wonderful apartment and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. J Richardson

2009-I stayed at this apartment with my 3 children during the Easter holidays and we has such a lovely time. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable, like home from home. There are so many places to go nearby and taxis and buses are easy to catch within a couple of minutes of the apartment. Richard from Solfinders collected and picked us up perfectly on time.
