About the home

Secure Beachfront Development. Suits couples, families, and retirees. Superb choice of Golf Courses nearby. The complex is only 30 minutes drive from Malaga Airport. All amenities are within walking distance. The complex is on the main bus route (N340). It has two swimming pools (upper and lower) and gated access to the beach. Beautifully landscaped gardens throughout. Lifeguards on duty during peak season. Pool Bar open during Peak Season.

It's a first floor apartment overlooking the upper swimming pools. It's west facing and enjoys the evening sunshine on its very spacious balcony. It is fully furnished throughout. Satellite TV and DVD player are in the living room. The kichen is fully fitted and is suited for all self-catering needs. There is an interior dining room suite as well as a balcony table and chairs. Both bedrooms and living room have air-conditioning. There is an en suite bathroom to the master bedroom and a separate shower room with WC and bidet. All apartments have lift access coupled with stairwell access. Secure underground parking is available. There's also a safety deposit box in the apartment.

The Costa del Sol region

Weather is best from April onwards with June, July and August being the warmest months. Places of interest could include the following; Mijas, a quaint Spanish town complete with cafes, shops, restaurants, breath-taking views and a bullring! The old village of Marbella is also worth a visit. The port of Puerto Banus has a fabulous Marina coupled with plenty of top-branded shops, Prada, Gucci, etc. A daytrip to to Gibraltar is worth a visit for those who like to get out-and-about!

The Calahonda / Mi Capricho area

The main shopping area in Calahonda is just across the road from the complex. A choice of supermarkets, a butchers, hairdressers, numerous restaurants, and bars are all situated there. There's a food court in El Zoco with all tastes catered for. There's a local market at La Cala every Wednesday and Saturday where a few bargains can be picked up. Being a beachfront apartment means that long walks on the beach are a sure thing - with the port of Cabapino 20 mins away by foot (be sure to turn right out the gate at the rear of the complex!) The main bus route (N340) is right on the doorstep too.

30 min drive by taxi (cost 40-50 euro approx) from Malaga Airport. Car Hire is available at Malaga Airport. An underground car park is available in complex if desired. Own Parking Spot.

Directions from the Airport: Follow the signs for Cadiz and the AP7 (motorway). Take the motorway (easiest route) and stay on motorway until the exit for Calahonda (20 mins from airport approx). In Calahonda go onto the A7 (southbound) and take the 1st turn off. Take the second exit at the roundabout and follow under the flyover and return onto the opposite side of the A7 dual carriageway (you will see McDonalds on the RHS). MI Capricho is the next turn in on the right hand side.

“Superb accomodation, everything about the apartment and location was perfect.” We have returned from a week, with our elderly mothers at the apartment. We all cannot praise the facilities enough,, the apartment is right a the side of the lift, which was great for our mums as they do find walking stairs a little difficult. The furnishings and fittings in the apartment are of very high quality, everything you need for a self catering holiday. The complex is situated near the main road, close to the bus stop and other amenities(supermarket, paper shop and bars etc). There are 2 excellent swimming pools and lovely tropical gardens which overlook the beach, with a fantastic restaurant through a small gate a the end of the gardens. Overall, we cant fault anything our holiday at Mi Capricho in Cala Honda and we are already looking at dates for returning next year.
