The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, and is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Calahonda, with its numerous restaurants and bars.
The villa is decorated and furnished to a high standard and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday. It has a private south facing garden, which is safe and secure and is ideal for children to play in. There is a raised decking area with dining table for 6 and a portable bbq.
The beautiful communal pool is only 20 metres away and is shared with only a small number of similar villas. You can walk to the beach from the villa. On the way you will pass lots of family friendly cafe bars where you can stop for a cool drink and something to eat. There is a large supermarket less than 5 minutes away by car and several smaller supermarkets within walking distance. The villa is only a 15 minute drive to Marbella and Fuengirola. The nearest golf course is less than a 5 minute drive.

Long term lets available between November and February. £900 per month. (excluding linen change,clean and utility costs)
For rental periods of 2 weeks or longer, a chargeable weekly cleaning service can also be provided if required.
Conditions
A 20% deposit is required with your booking, with the balance payable 2 calendar months prior to the commencement of your holiday.
A £100.00 bond will be required to cover any damages or breakages to the property. This will be refunded immediately after your holiday, subject to inspection.

The Costa Del Sol has around 330 days of sunshine per year and has so much to offer: beautiful sandy beaches, over 60 golf courses, charming Spanish villages, cosmopolitan towns, great shopping, fabulous food and wine, and best of all, the fantastic year round climate.
This long, golden coastline stretches from Nerja in the East to Gibraltar in the West. A short drive from the coast takes you inland to the white washed villages of Ojen, Istan, Ronda and Mijas. Malaga is the historic capital where you will find its stunning cathedral, port, The Picasso Museum, fabulous shopping and international restaurants.
For those who are visiting during the winter months, the ski resorts of the Sieraa Nevada are approximately 2 - 2 half hours drive from Calahonda. The long hot summers and short mild winters, make it the perfect coast to holiday at all year round.
The Calahonda / Sitio de Calahonda area
Calahonda is approx 30 minutes drive from Malaga airport. It is situated halfway between the holiday resort of Fuengirola and the world famous, shopping town of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Both resorts are only 15 minutes drive from Calahonda. It has a 9 hole, par 3, golf course with a further 20 golf courses within a 20 km radius.
The area has numerous restaurants, including Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Chinese and Indian, several bars, and 2 large commercial centres. Calahonda has its own safe sandy beach, with many other local beaches just a short drive along the coast. In Calahonda you will find Club Del Sol (approx 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk from the villa). Here you will find tennis, squash, paddle courts and a gymnasium, all on a pay and play basis. Within a 20 minute drive you can reach the added attractions of the aquapark, zoo and sealife centre.
The beaches of La Cala de Mijas and Cabopino are both 5 minutes drive along the coast. The wonderful shopping centres of La Canada and Miramar are only a 15 minute drive from Calahonda.

Flights available daily from the UK to Malaga airport. From Malaga airport take the A7/N340 coast rd towards Cadiz. Calahonda is approx 30 minutes drive from the airport. There is also a train service from Malaga airport to Fuengirola. Calahonda is approx 10 euros taxi fare from Fuengirola.

Thanks to Phil and Joanne for the use of your beatiful villa for 2 weeks of total bliss!!! From the onset of booking they took the stress and worry away, promptly answering any questions we had and nothing being too much trouble. We found the villa to be exactly as advertised and were just thrilled by the location. A 10 minute walk taking you to the restaurants and bars and a little further on to the supermarkets. The villa was very tastefully decorated, clean, large and airy with all the thoughtful conveniences that make a difference, including the Scooby Doo DVD's that entertained our wee boy! The pool and surroundings were fabulous and although it is was a shared pool we pretty much had it to ourselves for the two weeks we were there. We will definately return to this suberb villa, thanks again. |

We all had a fantastic holiday. we went to chill out and we were certainly able to to so. villa was very spacious and clean it was situated in a lovely area just a short walk from bars and restaurants and a small convenience store. Joanne and Phil were a great help and we cant thank them enough for a lovely time. so thanks again and we hope to visit soon. |

Well I guess there are to many things to say about this property for a short review so we will mention just a few of the highlights from our month vacation there over Christmas and new year period.The villa itself is a real home from home and very family fiendly with so many thoughtfull things like kids games and videos etc to keep the little ones happy on the few times we stayed in. There is so much space inside and out that you feel like you are in a truly luxurious villa and it is equiped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday.We found the area around to be very friendly also and it was great that the local road train ran daily along the strip saving us walking back sometimes when the kids were tired.The whole processs of booking and using the villa is made so easy as the communications from Jo And Phil are excellent and there local Agent Karen makes you feel very welcome and cant do enough to make your holiday a great experience. We would most definately re book here again and would not hesitate to recommend anyone else to stay here. Thanks again for allowing us the use of this superb villa Regards Claudia and James |
