If you are looking for sun morning, noon and evening then our Spanish haven is ideal for you. We love the fact that we can have leisurely breakfasts on the sunny verandah outside the kitchen, all day sun on the totally private rooftop solarium with magnificent sea views and afternoon/evening sun on the front patio, overlooking the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. If you fancy a B.B.Q., that's there as well. We are ideally located only 10 mins. drive from Marbella with its wonderful shopping and Fuengirola with its famous Aquapark and lots of shopping and markets. We are 25/30 minutes from Malaga Airport.
Gibraltar is 1 hour drive away (remember to take your passports and Sterling, although Euro is accepted). Choice of 75 golf courses along the Costa Del Sol, some just 2 minutes drive away. Spanish villages of Mijas and Ronda well worth a visit. We love our Spanish home and take pride in its homeliness, cleanliness, character and a home from home feel but with lots of sunshine.

The Costa del Sol region
Calahonda Beach is approx. 8 minutes walk away. Capopino Port and Beach and La Cala Beach are 5 mins. drive away as are numerous other beaches. There is a waterpark in nearby Fuengirola.
Golfers are frequent visitors as there are approx. 75 golf courses on the Costa Del Sol, some within 2 or 3 miles.
We go skiing to the Sierra Nevada Ranges approx. 2 hours drive. With an early start we can be on the slopes in 2.5 hours and still be home for a night out. Skiing season from early December to late April. Cost for ski hire and lift pass approx. 60 euros.
2 min walk away from house on Thursday. La Cala has markets on Wednesday and Saturday. Large market in Los Boliches on outskirts of Fuengirola on Tuesday and Flea Market there on Saturdays. Markets are usually on from 9 to 2
Supermarkets are all within walking distance.
Opencor Supermarket is open 24 hours.
Banks open Monday to Friday from 8.30. a.m to 2.30. p.m.

"Accommodation, owner and helpers excellent"
From our initial enquiry through to pick up, the holiday itself and our return to the airport and contacts on returning home, our experience was second to none.
The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The security of the complex was very good. It was a very convenient location for shops, beach, bus stop and church. We recommend Calahonda Baptist Church.
The owner and her contacts in Spain were extremely organised. The added personal touch through email communications was most welcome. We were made to feel almost like friends of the family and Alex the driver also reflected this.

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, 3 year old loved the pool as did we. Location was great, not far from airport, shops and restaurants within a stones throw, service was excellent as the people went out of their way to accommodate us.

"The Perfect Holiday"
We discovered our perfect holiday destination in La Paloma. Situated in a private, gated community, this well-appointed townhouse is truly a home away from home, but with the welcome addition of lots of sunshine, a lovely pool and meticulously tended gardens! The house is spotlessly clean and is beautifully maintained. The marbled floor interior provides a pleasantly cool retreat during the hot, sunny days. And we, especially, loved having the convenience of an extra shower room downstairs. We breakfasted on the sun-drenched back patio to stunning sea views; lunched and lazed on the sunny front porch and to cool off – a quick dip in the pool. The options for a relaxing day are endless here! A 30-minute drive from Malaga airport, La Paloma is easily reachable by car or public transport. The beach, shops and an assortment of supermarkets and all types of restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended – we'll be back!
