Placed in an EXCELLENT location, this luxury Penthouse apartment has been beautifully furnished to a very high standard and is equipped with everything you require to experience real 'home from home' comfort. An added luxury to the interior has to be the 'very large' wrap around, fully furnished, south facing terrace (62sqm) with SUN ALL DAY! the terrace, one of the largest and well placed on the complex, offers a 'SUPERB SEA VIEW' which will be enjoyed at all times of the day from sunrise to sunset and will provide many photographic opportunities!
Fully air/heat conditioned throughout with SAT TV (many of your favourite English channels) DVD player, i-Pod docking station, children's games and WI-FI INTERNET access. The apartment is set within a secure gated complex complete with 4 lovely pools (+3 children's pools) in lovely landscaped gardens.
The apartment has its own allocated private underground parking with direct lift to the apartment and the nearest bar/restaurants and well stocked mini-market just a 5 min walk - 3 gorgeous beaches with restaurants, bars and water sports (one of which has its own very 'picturesque' Marina) are only a 5 min drive!
Due to the location of the apartment, all of this coast's MAJOR RESORTS and FAMILY ATTRACTIONS can be reached in under 15 minutes to include Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola ,Benalmedena, Mijas. Aqualand, Tivoli World, Cable cars, Marine Land, Fuengirola Zoo etc.
GOLF enthusiasts will find themselves in "GOLF HEAVEN" with the largest golfing complex in Spain just 15 minutes away at La Cala Resort, around 10 further golf courses within 15 minutes and approximately 40 courses within 30 mins....the NEAREST GOLF COURSE ONLY 2 minutes away!

Our apartment is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and provides everything you need for a 'home from home' experience! There is a contemporary lit 'feature dome' in the dining area providing an enhanced dining atmosphere and comfy leather sofas in the lounge area for relaxing.
Lovely sea views are experienced from the dining and living areas as well as the master and second bedroom. Both the bathrooms are finished in high quality cream marble, both have baths with shower over and twin sinks in the master en-suite bedroom. All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes with plenty of space for your clothing and there are hairdryers in each bedroom for your convenience.
For your entertainment we have SKY TV (many of your favourite English channels BBC, ITV, channnel 4 & 5 etc), a DVD player and large selection of family films, I-pod docking station, books and selection of children's games and Wi-Fi Internet access. You will also find within the apartment a safe for your valuables.

The terrace is a very popular and great feature of this apartment and it has never failed to delight our guests!
It is very large (62m2), it is south facing and enjoys sun all day! and has a wonderful panoramic sea view. It is equipped with sun beds and drinks table, a large dining table with 6 chairs and a large parasol, and a lovely terrace suite where you can sit and relax with a long cold drink in the early evening as you watch the sun set over the Mediterranean and the coast of Africa! For those of you who like to eat al fresco, there is even a large built in BBQ on the terrace allowing you to cook al fresco too!

At this time we would also require a £200 security deposit against any damages or lost keys. This security would be returned to you following your departure and the inspection of the apartment by our management team.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa Del Sol is already very well known for it's favourable all year round climate and is a haven for golfers throughout the British winter season.
Great beaches providing numerous watersports, sunbeds and beach bars are literally dotted everywhere along this coast with 2 wonderful beaches only 5 minutes drive from the apartment and not forgetting some of the 'plushist' marinas lined with luxury yachts and stylish quayside restaurants to enjoy a spot of celebrity watching and again one of the prettiest marinas known as the 'hidden jewel" of this coast, is our very own local marina at Cabopino just 5 minutes drive!
There is something for everyone within very easy reach of our apartment from big family attractions, world class golf courses, big designer shopping complexes, good old traditional Spanish 'White' villages and for the night owls a fantastic array of bars and clubs can be found at Fuengirola, Marbella etc.!
The Calahonda / Princess Park area
Calahonda is an ALL YEAR ROUND RESORT and you will find plenty of bars and restaurants open throughout the year, the majority are English speaking so no problems in ordering what you want! Our welcome book contains recommended places to eat around the 3 main areas of Calahonda being the 'Strip', the 'El Zoco' complex and the 'Dona Lola' complex. The nearest bar/restaurants and well stocked mini-market are a 5 minute walk.
The closest golf course is only 2 minutes away! however the BIGGEST GOLFING COMPLEX in Spain at the La Cala Resort is only 15 minutes away with a further 30 courses under 20Km! Also for the sport enthusiast the large Costa Del Sol Tennis Club is also only 2 minutes away and has plenty of courts, squash, gym and sauna all payable on a daily basis.
Other than Calahonda's own Royal beach, two fabulous beaches(our personal favourites), ideal for children, with sun beds, beach bars, water sports and life guards in high season, can be found at La Cala and Capobino both only a 5 minute drive along the N340. Capobino also has its own Marina and is known locally as the 'Hidden Jewel' of this coast!
Within 15 minutes drive of the apartment you can easily reach all the following family attractions:
Tivoli World amusement park, Sea Life Centre, Cable Cars at Benalmedena, Marine Land, Aqualand, Fuengirola Zoo & the Crocodile Park.....to name a few, a great day out for the whole family has to be at Selwo adventure park just a 20 minute drive away. Resorts easily reached in 20 minutes drive and under from our apartment include Marbella, Puerto Banus, Mijas a lovely mountain 'White' village, La Cala, Fuengirola, Benalmedena, Torremolinos further details on each resort can be found within our own web site. For those who like to explore further a field, then the famous Spanish (and one of the most photographed!) village of Casares is around 45 mins, Gibralter 1hr, Ronda 1hr 30 mins and well worth the 1hr 30 min drive inland is the 'stunning' Ardales National Park, photos, details and directions to this area can be found in our guest welcome book in our apartment - a day not to be missed!
There are too many Golf courses to mention although our own web site details all of those on offer along this coast, but I will list just a few within 15 minutes drive and under from our apartment:
1) La Cala has three 18-hole championship courses and a top quality 6-hole par 3 layout making it the largest golf resort in the country and includes SOUTH PAR: 72 5,454 metres, NORTH PAR: 73 5,782 metres & LA CALA EUROPA PAR: 71 6,014 metres.
2) La Quinta Course 1 PAR: 72 5,457 metres
3) Santa Clara PAR: 71 5,558 metres
4) Santa Maria PAR: 70 5,325 metres
5) Rio Real PAR: 72 6,098 metres
6) Los Naranjos PAR: 72 6,038 metres
7) Mijas LOS OLIVOS PAR: 72 5,866 metres

Lastly a 5 minute walk from the apartment you can catch the 'Land Train' which services all the main areas of Calahonda and is an enjoyable little ride and helps you to get your bearings around this resort.

My wife and children had the most 'perfect' holiday at this apartment. We have been doing private rentals for a very long time and this by far, exceeded our expectations. The owner Sharon was most helpful throughout, from the initial enquiry to post stay communication and she made the whole booking and arrival process very easy and straightforward for us which we really appreciated following a not so good experience the previous year at another apartment. The apartment was lovely and clean, very spacious, beautifully furnished and so well equipped, it really did feel like being at home! The terrace area is a pure delight, it is large and spacious, has a 'lovely' sea view and indeed, as promised, it had sun all day from the moment it came up to the point it went down! The children loved using the 4 pools on the complex and we were pleasantly surprised that at times we would have the whole pool to ourselves, having said that, the pools were never over crowded during our stay anyway. The apartment is on a peaceful complex yet a stone's throw from everything that you would want from a family holiday, there are 2 lovely beaches literally a 5 minute drive along the N340 in opposite directions, many more obviously along the coast and we were able to reach all of the attractions that the children wanted to do like Tivoli World, Sea Life, Zoo, Water park and Selwo Adventure park within a 20 minute drive time from the apartment finally, there are just too many good restaurants in the locality to choose from! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking at it and would assure others that you can book with confidence with Sharon and to sum up our feelings “we have already booked another 2 weeks next year!” that should say enough – thank you Sharon for giving us excellent service and for your lovely apartment which we are really looking forward to returning to again........counting the weeks already! I know we had quite a few chats before you went away about what was available in the area for your children to do (and we have a lot of this information on our own website too) and as you have now found out, there was plenty to do and not very far away from the apartment either, so none of the cries of "are we there yet" to endure from the back seat!! From speaking with you on your return, we know you too have been able to experience and appreciate the peacefulness of the complex and apartment and benefited from that with your own time to 'chill out' and relax at the end of a day and I know (like many other previous guests), that you really enjoyed the very large terrace space and the view! It is difficult to say more about this apartment than has already been written and we can only agree with previous comments that have been posted. We found the whole booking experience with Sharon very easy and having read other reviews prior to booking, felt confident that we had made the right choice in booking this apartment. The apartment is large, modern, very nicely decorated, very homely and comfortable and has a terrific outdoor terrace which is largely private and not overlooked and the view from the terrace is really great! We were a party of 6 (various ages!) and had plenty of space to relax when we were at the apartment and we all found things nearby to do that we all individually liked to do i.e. beaches, shops, boat trips, tennis and golf etc, Sharon's own personal website, gave us plenty of ideas of what was possible to do in the immediate area and we found that to be very useful and informative. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone of any age and do hope that we will be returning there again ourselves! Thank you again Sharon for a great holiday experience at your beautiful apartment! Spent the most relaxing 2 weeks at the apartment. Everything was just as promised and Sharon provided us with everything. We have been going to Calahonda for about 10 years on and off and this is one of the best places we have been to. It was peaceful and the views outstanding. The rates are per week for the apartment and include a Meet and Greet service, linen, towels (not beach towels, please bring your own), reasonable electricity/water usage and a final clean.
An additional £200 is required as a security deposit against any damages/lost keys, refundable once the apartment has been checked over by our management team.
We require a £150 or 20% (whichever is the greatest) deposit upon making a booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.
During the high season periods of July/August/Easter & Christmas, changeover days are usually on Saturdays (sometimes we can be a little flexible, please enquire). During all other periods we can be more flexible.
Personal holiday insurance is the responsibility of the person making the booking.
