The apartment is in lovely condition, clean, beautifully furnished and has all the equipment you will need to enjoy your holiday.
The property is situated in the beautiful established Jardines area of Calahonda, with well maintained gardens and pool. Caserio de calahonda is a secure gated community consisting of 47 apartments in 3 blocks.
Our large apartment is situated on the first floor and overlooks the swimming pool and gardens.
Once inside our apartment you enter the large living room with French doors opening onto the balcony.
After a long day of excursions or beach activities you will enjoy relaxing on our large comfortable corner settee. There is a flat screen Television, DVD and video recorder/player, along with a music system. DVD's, CD's and videos are available alongside books and games. A radio with docking station can be found in the kitchen.
You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony or relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine and your evening meal.
The master bedroom is well furnished and leads into the en-suite bathroom with large shower.
The second bedroom has twin beds and the separate bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The extra large kitchen is well equipped.
The living area, kitchen and master bedroom have ceiling fans and the second bedroom has a floor standing fan, we find this sufficient whatever time of year we are there.
In the post room of the community you will find a library where you can borrow and swap books, there is also a pram and golf clubs (well used) that can be borrowed on a first come first serve basis.
You will find sunbeds available around the pool where you can relax and enjoy the sun if you feel like a day at home, or a cooling dip after a long day out.
Wifi is availabe from Y-Internet.
Local shops and restuarants are a 15 minute walk away, the friendly Bar 97 is a two minute walk up the road. Bar 97 is open Monday to Saturday from 4 pm - midnight, reasonably priced home cooked food is served between 5pm and 9pm.
Calahonda is the perfect location for golfers with the many golf courses nearby.
Whether you are a golfer, sun lover or adventurer Calahonda is the place to stay.

Our two bedroomed apartment is situated in the Caserio complex, a much sought after destination is visited year after year by many happy holidaymakers. With a west facing terrace, the apartment overlooks the communal swimming pool and gardens. With quiet and peaceful surroundings Caserio is ideal for holidaymakers of all ages from couples to families.
The local La Lunda beach is a 15 minute walk away.
Local shops and bars/restaurants are all within walking distance. There are many other local attractions easily accessed by car or bus.

Private parking for Caserio occupants is available outside the building to the front and side of the main entrance. The 97 Bar is two minutes away, a very friendly small bar that serves home cooked food reasonably priced Monday to Saturdays late afternoon till early evening. The bar is open from 4pm till midnight.
The Andalucia region
For those seeking beach and golf holidays the Costa del Sol is a must, famous for its all year round climate it offers a superb choice for everyone.
A short drive from the coast up into the hills and you will enjoy a taste of traditional Andalucia in the pretty white washed villages of Istan, Ojen and Mijas.
Gibraltar is a two hour car drive away, as is Granada, famous for the Alhambra Palace.
Calahonda has many restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by.
Some of the many attractions for all the family include the water park near Funegirola, zoos, numerous golf courses, theme parks and water sports are all a short drive away.
A 15 minute drive from the apartment will take you into Marbella and Puerto Buenos famous for it shopping and night life and 15 minutes in the opposite direction you will find Fuengirola with it's newly designed coast line and shopping centres.
