The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa Del Sol has over 310 days of sunshine a year with lots to offer families, couples and golfers alike - w beaches, bars, waterparks, theme parks, zoos etc.. As well as the local beaches, there are beautiful beaches at Cabopino, Elviria (including the world famous Nikki Beach), Marbella and Puerto Banus. This area is known as "Costa Del Golf" due to its fabulous golf courses - Miraflores Golf is next door, and a few minutes drive away are La Cala, Santa Clara and Marbella Club to name a few. Other sports available nearby are watersports, tennis, horse-riding, clay pigeon shooting (at the Marbella Gun Club), and even dolphin watching. In the winter months - you can ski in Sierra Nevada.
Visit Fuengirola Zoo, Mijas, Tivoli World at Benalmadena. There is Sea Life and Fuengirola Aqua Park. Travel to Rhonda to see the fantastic views of this hillside village, or Mijas which is also well known. If you wish to travel further afield you can go to Gibraltar or Morocco for the day.
Calahonda / Miraflores area
Riviera Del Sol is popular with tourists and locals alike. There are numerous shops, banks and supermarkets which offer fresh produce. There is a large family run supermarket within walking distance, and a wealth of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and ages within walking distance.
10 minutes drive away are two fantastic "out of town" shopping malls for retail therapy - La Canada and Miramax, and of course the large shopping centre at Marbella and designer boutiques at Puerto Banus.
For those wanting to sightsee - Gibralter, Rhonda, Coin and national parks are only a drive away. There are also wonderful marinas at Cabopino, Banus, Sotogrrande and Benalmadena

Further details indoors: The complex is gated, and security patrolled in peak times. The apartment has its own security safe ensuring you have no safety worries whilst on holiday.
The grounds have "adult only" areas which allow those without children to really chill out. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas at the poolsides, and more seating - benches and loungers - in the grounds, enabling everyone to relax and enjoy.
