The area is served by Malaga airport which is about 30 minutes drive from Calahonda. The main road is an excellent dual carriageway. Calahonda is only 10 Kilometres from Fuengirola and 12 Kilometres from Marbella. Although a car is advisable but not essential as buses run every half hour to these towns, and the local beach is approx a 10 min walk through the park to Royal Beach which also has a excellent beach bar.
