On entry to the apartment there is a spacious open plan sitting room /dinning room area with marble flooring and a fireplace. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped with microwave, coffee machine, washing machine etc... There is a family bathroom with a bidet and bath/shower. The bedroom has a fitted wardrobe, a big chest of drawers, a king size bed with a ceiling fan. There is a balcony with a table and chairs for you to enjoy meals and amazing sea views/ sunset.
It is well kept, very clean and has air-conditioning/ heating.
Linen, towels and beach towel provided.

The apartment is situated within a small well maintained enclosed community. It offers relaxing surroundings around a shared pool and pleasant garden.
There is off street parking. Public transport is in walking distance.

Occupancy
The rental period is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and 11.00am on the day of departure. We will try to accomodate individual needs (early arrivals or late departures) as long as you contact the owner.
The owners will not accept any liability for any personal injury or loss of items during the rental period.
We recommend all renters to have the appropriate travel insurance.
There is an information pack in the apartment with emergency telephone numbers, rules of the community, instruction leaflets on how to use the utilities and leaflet of places to visit.
Conditions
Lettings are for a minimum of three days - less than that will be charged at a three day stay.
Cost of last cleaning is included in the rental fee.
A 25% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking. The balance is to be paid in full 6/8 weeks prior to arrival date.
Security breakages deposit of 150 euros required on arrival, which is Fully Refunded pending property check and return of keys.

The area's mild climate is the main attraction – visitors and residents alike can enjoy the beaches, as well as alfresco dining plus a wide variety of outdoor activities, all year round.
The Calahonda / Sitio de Calahonda area
Sitio de Calahonda, is a quiet and peaceful community located on the Costa del Sol, Southern Spain. It is within easy reach of many of the attractions and popular tourist destinations of Southern Spain such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Mijas Pueblo, Malaga and Gibraltar. It is only approximately 30 minutes drive from Malaga International Airport, so it is prime location makes it an ideal holiday location.
The vast majority of residents and business proprietors are English speaking, so communication is not a worry.
Calahonda has three main shopping areas. Los Cipresses, Los Olivios and El Zoco. All are modern and provide most of the things you are likely to need to buy while on holiday.
At Los Cipresses you will find two banks with service tills, a DVD / video hire shop (with predominantly English language films), three supermarkets each with a Tapas / snack bar, two restaurants and an Ice cream parlour / Italian Cafe. There is also a laundry, Doctors surgery, dentists, Internet Cafe, Newsagents come tourist shop come tobacconists.
At Los Olivios, you will find a supermarket, a bank, a currency exchange bureau, a florists, and a cafe / restaurant /tapas bar.
At El Zoco you will find a supermarket, a Post Office, three banks with Service tills, a currency exchange bureau, clothing shops, a newsagents, a florists, a Tour operator offering tourist trips, a hairdressers, an amusement arcade, several cafes, several restaurants and several bars.
There are numerous other small local shops, bars and restaurants at other convenient locations throughout Calahonda.
One Emergency Medical Centre provides cover 24 hours a day. It has an ambulances and fully trained medical staff.
The main hospital, Hospital Costa del Sol, is only a short drive (approximately 10 minutes) from Calahonda. There are several pharmacies in the area which are open 24 hours.
Taxis are available very near to the apartment.
There is a good, regular bus service going both North to Fuengirola and South to Marbella. Public transport is cheap.
There is a large choice beachesin the area.You can visit Puerto Cabopino, which is Calahonda's own Port. The Port is particularly beautiful when lit up at night. There are several family restaurants, bars and cafes. There is ample parking for the beach. It has all the water sports that you would hope to find as well as sun loungers, parasols etc.
Calahonda has two golf course, one small nine hole par three golf course it's own driving range, bar and restaurant (La Siesta Golf Club), the other is a full 18 hole course which again has a bar, restaurant and grass driving range (Cabopino Golf Club.) In addition, there are approximately 50 golf courses within easy reach of Calahonda.
Calahonda is easy to get to and has easy access to other local attractions because there is an exit off the AP7 toll road / motorway at Calahonda. Alternatively, you can take the main costal road, the A7, to and from Calahonda.

Spotlessly clean apartment, very well equipped and very convenient for the bars and restaurants of Calahonda. The roof terrace is great, it is quite private and has a sea view, and the owner could not be more helpful and friendly. The only drawback we can think of is the number of stairs - but for most this will be inconsequential. We would definitely go again. |

Thanks Maria and Bruno for a wonderful 2 week stay in your apartment, it was perfect in terms of location, right beside shop and restaurants, Lovely beaches nearby and so easy ro access from malaga airport. Really enjoyed my stay and your hospitality when II met you. I would definately recommend to my friends and Will be back to stay myself next year |
