Miraflores is an exclusive urbanisation, only a five minute walk from Nachos beach and beach bars and the pretty village like area of Torrenueva with supermarket, restaurants and local bars.
Miraflores is situated in the Mijas Costa area between La Cala and Riviera del Sol only a 25 minute drive from Malaga airport. The local markets are on Wednesday and Saturday. Cabopino with fabulous beaches, marina and restaurants is a 10 minute drive. The apartment has an ideal location within walking distance of the local Blue Flag beach and La Cala De Mijas. Here there is an abundance of bars and restaurants offering a wide cuisine to suit every taste and budget.
If you fancy some where closer just down the hill is a selection of excellent restaurants including Italian, Chinese , French and English food.
Transportation around the local area could not be easier with the local bus running a service from the bottom of the road between Marbella and Fuengirola . There is also a Taxi rank close by.
These properties are located in a fantastic part of the Costa del Sol and can be described as ideal holiday accommodation for couples, families, golfers or groups of friends.
This recently built complex is set in the exclusive urbanisation of Miraflores which is beautiful as well as peaceful yet walking distance to local amenities, beach, restaurants and bars/nightlife. Each apartment has 2 good size bedrooms with twin single beds, a living/dining room which leads out onto a large balcony with views to both the mountains and sea. The kitchen is compact but has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace has breathtaking views to the sea , excellent for Al fresco dining. A welcome pack of essential food items can be arranged.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Calahonda / Riviera Area
Miraflores is situated in Mijas Costa next to the popular resorts Calahonda, Riviera del Sol and La Cala. Miraflores is only a short 10 minute drive/bus journey to Fuengirola and 15 minutes to Marbella/Puerto Banus.
The Costa del Sol is famous for its golf courses and it's easy to see why. It is not just the courses themselves that golfers are attracted to, the area gets an average of 327 sunny days per year, so you rarely need to worry about your game being spoiled by the weather. Nestling in the foothills and valleys of the Sierra de Mijas, Miraflores is a very challenging course, suitable for all levels of golfers. This area boast even more golf on tap at La Cala Resort, Santana and Mijas Golf and Country Club.
La Cala de Mijas is the central point of Mijas Costa near Fuengirola. From being a tiny village, La Cala de Mijas has grown in size but still retains its quaint fishing village charm and atmosphere. There are many excellent bars and restaurants in this area. The traditional local markets are on Wednesday and Saturday. La Cala has its own fiestas in July and during this time it becomes magical. Music and flamenco dancing fill the promenade. La Cala de Mijas is reachable by foot in just 15 minutes.
Torrenueva is just a few minutes walk from the apartment and here you will find a supermarket, numerous bars, chinese, Italian, and Indian restaurants as well as may other options.
Solution Bar/Nightclub is just nearby between the apartment and La Cala. Solution is a pulsating funky venue where people enjoy a terrific time in the most up to date music bar surroundings. The aim of Solution is to bring the best of Ibiza and UK bar idea’s together and combine these, together with our own unique plans to make Solution, the best night out on the Costa Del Sol. It has 250 sq m inside and a cool chill-out front terrace. Find this venue at the Jardine Botanico unit, right by the N340 at km200 La Cala De Mijas.
Places to visit include the typically Spanish hillside town of Mijas, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Benalmadena. It is also an easy drive to Gibraltar. Further field, but well worth a visit, is the beautiful town of Granada and the exquisite Alhambra Palace.
Local activities include the Mijas Water Park, Go Karting, Quad biking, Fuengirola Zoo, tennis, horse riding, sailing and sea fishing. The Selwo Dolphinarium and Tivoli World (Fun park) are both situated in nearby Benalmadena.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga Airport. Follow motorway N340 towards Marbella. Just a short drive from Fuengirola, Miraflores is 30 km approx. 30 minutes drive by car from Malaga Airport.

There is a good size living/dining room which opens out onto a very good size balcony with views to the sea and mountains. Just off the hall by the entrace is the kitchen which has everything you would require; oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle as well as plenty of cooking utensils. The kitchen has an opening/arch through to the dining area. Selection of DVDs in apartment. Free to View TV Channels; BBC 1,2,3,4, CBBC, ITV 1,2,3,4, SKY NEWS and many more. There are two bedrooms with twin beds in each room. The bathroom has a bath/shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

There are pleasant beaches within walking distance at Torrenueva and Miraflores. The nearest beach is Nachos Beach at Torrenueva and is a 10 minute walk. It has sun beds and parasols to rent and a choice of beach bars. There are many lovely beaches along the coast but well worth a short 5/10 minute drive is Cabopino with long stretches of white sand, harbour and restaurants. Nearby is a commercial centre with bank, supermarket, newsagent, restaurants and many other amenities. Close by is the main centre of Riviera del Sol where there are more shops, restaurants, banks and bars, taxi rank and bus stops which enables you to travel in the direction of Marbella or Fuengirola.
