300 metres above sea level at the very summit of Calahonda the Prestigious 'Cascadas de Calahonda' Complex with its breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea & the surrounding countryside. It has 2 great swimming pools on different elevations,cascading waterfalls and pond. Stroll through the lovely sub tropical landscaped gardens. Sun loungers and parasols at pools. Double fronted apartment with large glass sliding doors leading on to large sun terrace, both from the living area and bedroom. A fully fitted open bar kitchen equipped with everything you would possibly need for up to 4 people.
Spacious dining cum living area which has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard, twenty four hour security. Its a haven for a relaxing holiday. There are an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes, some within walking distance. Club de Sol Tennis Club and The Siesta Golf Club near by. Just a 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach. There are many beautiful beaches to choose from on the costa del sol

Stretching from Almeria to Tarifa , Costa del Sol is a densely populated coast of Andalucia . It stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. Evidence of the area s (specifically the western side) popularity is the fact that there are more jet skis per capita than anywhere else in Europe. All year round, people favor its row of fine, sandy beaches and calm Mediterranean waters. The area's mild climate is a major factor in enjoying the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor and water activities year round.
The Costa del Sol’s resorts like Benalmadena, Fuengirola Torremolinos, and Marbella, with their miles of beautiful fine sand beaches and splendid weather, have kept tourists coming back year after year, by the thousands. The Costa del Sol caters to young and old, locals and tourists alike, offering an exciting selection of entertainment and relaxation options.
Costa del Sol is the most developed part of the coast. Many towns have been developed and recently have modernized their boardwalks, or ' paseo maritimos .' This picturesque town is in no shortage of tourist amenities, resorts and high-rise hotels. The nightlife is lively and colorful, with a string of bars and restaurants to delight in. Other attractions include zoos and water parks, casinos, bullfights and amusement parks (like the renowned Parque de Atracciones Tivoli).
The coast is often nicknamed "The Costa del Golf,” for it boasts one of the highest representation of first class golf courses. To entertain families and children, there are theme parks, including water parks, safari parks, go karting, and many beautifully landscaped public gardens. The younger generation are typically crowding in the areas of attraction like the Puerto Marina and the popular '24 hour square' of Benalmadena, as well as in Marbella's Puerto Banus. These places are very trendy and hip, and of course, knowing the youth’s preference for late night fun, these bars and clubs don't get up and alive until near midnight, and stay open until the wee hours of the morning.
The Calahonda / Cascadas de Las Lomas area
Coast/Beach
Less than 5 mins drive from our Calahonda Apartment is the delights of Cabopino. With an attractive beach, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant harbour and renowned restaurants.
Cabopino is well sheltered and protected from the elements, and artificial reefs on either side of the beach keep the waves and wind at bay. Lifeguards - on duty throughout the summer - combined with the beach's gentle slope into the sea, make Cabopino child friendly and safe
Golf
The Miraflores Driving Range is situated away from the main club house and buildings. In fact it is located at the top of the Avenida del Golf, where you take a left onto the Avenida Esmerelda. You then cannot miss it on the left-hand side of the road. It is sign posted.
Travel
Cabopina Marina is 5 minutes away with many restaurants, beach bars, entertainment and boat excursions. Puerto Banus of Marbella is 15 minutes away, with a large marina, restaurants, bars, shops, and the large El Corte Ingles department store, surrounded by shopping malls. Gibraltar is 50 minutes away for a day trip or sightseeing and duty free shopping. There is access to walking trails, close to a small group of restaurants and small supermarket.
Distances
The Club del Sol Leisure Sports Complex (Tel: 952-93 95 95) has 12 excellent tennis courts comprising 7 brand new clay courts and 5 plexi-cushion courts. The Club del Sol has four brand new squash courts, is open 7 days a week and you can play squash from 9.00 in the morning until 21.30 hours. Other Facilities: Sport Gym, Sports Shop, Snack Bar, Children’s Playrooom.
We have a wide choice of shopping centres which offer good value for money against some of our high street stores. Perfect to get away from the afternoon scorching sun or the odd day when it rains!
The Miramar shopping and leisure Complex in Fuengirola
opened in early 2004 and offers a modern shopping mall on the outskirts of Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol. All parking underground and outside is free. The centre is located just off the N340 after the Fuengirola exit.
La Canada Shopping Centre has recently been extended and now offers you practically everything you could ask for in a shopping centre with a huge variety of shops including a huge supermarket called Alcampo, Ten Pin Bowling and Multiplex Cinema. Parking is free.
El Corte Ingles, Puerto Banus, is the only major department store in Marbella and you will find them in all major cities. El Corte Ingles is somewhere between Debenhams and Selfridges in the UK, selling everything you could possibly need.
Marbella: The main street running ajacent to the beach has a wide choice of stores and boutiques.
If you are still not satisfied, then head for the Marina in Puerto Banus, with its host of top world class fashion design houses to see what the jet set buy!
