Ideal for families or couples.

Over 300 days of sunshine per year and warm even in winter.Skiing 2hrs away in SIerra Nevada. Sandy, well maintained beaches. Fashionable Marbella and Puerto Banus and historic Malaga old town all within easy reach by car or bus (20 min).Numerous activities available - golf, water parks,restaurants and clubs. Further afield but still easy to get to for daytrips are Gibraltar , Seville and Granada.
The Calahonda / Mi Capricho area
Internet cafe, supermarkets,banks, bars and restaurants all 5 min walk away (footbridge or tunnel) in Calahonda centre. Also golf, tennis and gym.Cabopino port is a pleasant 15-20 min walk along the beach or 5 min by taxi (7 euros)

-Fly to Malaga (numerous cheap flights - Monarch, Easyjet etc) - Calahonda is 20 minutes from the airport by car
-We can arrange car hire if required (car not essential as all amenities near apartment but useful for visiting nearby towns)
-Taxi costs approx 30-40 euros
-Aternatively there is a very good and cheap train service from the airport to Fuengirola (takes approx 15 minutes) - local bus from there takes approx 15 min and stops outside the apartment

The owners are excellent - really helpful and friendly. The resort is well placed with everything a family with or without children would need. The apartment is clean, light and modern. Buses and taxis are easy to get but you should hire a car if you have not been to Gibraltar. Local supermarket and bars withing walking distance. Easy to access if you have mobility issues. |
