In the sittingroom there is a fireplace to give a nice glow on the cold days not that there will be many of them.Pool is only available during summer months June-sept.

The residential communal area consists of a large swimming pool and beautiful gardens.The complex is gated so it is very safe.One can sit on the patio and watch the golfers or have a nice cold drink and lounge in your very own pool and watch the sun go down.There are two sun loungers and table and chairs on the main patio and a table and chairs on the front patio which is lovely to have breakfast on.

Midway between Marbella and Fuengirola, but while only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport, Calahonda is in the true heart of the Costa del Sol and perfectly surrounded by beautiful, scenic beaches.The apartment is right across the roar from the norweigan church so the church bells can be heard which is fab as it makes you feel you are in the middle of a small spanish village. For those without a rented car or just those who want to leave the car at home there is an excellently reliable bus service running every 25 minutes to bring you to the singing streets of Fuengirola or the glamorous side of Marbella. As for sightseeing one can enjoy the contrasting scenes as those awe striking caves and fascinating monkeys in Gibraltar, just over an hour’s drive from Calahonda (remember to bring your passport as it is an English region) against the spectacular veteran village of Ronda built overhanging a dramatic river gorge with one of Spain’s oldest bull rings. Children will be wildly entertained by the aqua parks, aquariums and the world of wonders in the Fuengirola zoo. All kinds of shops can be found in Fuengirola itself or in the fantastic marina of Puerto Banus there is a colourful ere of designer boutiques situated beside a port full of yachts gleaming in the summer sun. When evening approaches the port offers many eloquent bars and restaurants to relax and watch the world pass by.
The Calahonda / Mijas Costa Malaga area
Over 20 golf courses surround the Calahonda area so golfers from novice to pro can enjoy them to the fullest. Those such as Mijas Golf, Santana, Cala Nova and La Cala Golf each offer individual courses of separate difficulty ranges and landscapes. For a day out on the lovely beaches it only takes a convenient 15 minutes to walk to the one located in Calahonda itself. A 5 minute drive in a car can bring you to a wonderful new environment in Cabopino beach or for 10 minutes in the car you could be taken to the attractive strands of La Cala. A wide variety of restaurants are near the apartment, with only a 5 minute drive down to Cabopino you have the chance to experience the delectable plates in Albert’s or Da Bruno’s and be seated overlooking the charming pier. Although these restaurants are slightly dearer than others the ambiance and delicious food make it worth it to perfect a special evening. Only a 5 minute walk from the very apartment will bring you to a wide variety of convenient shops, bars, restaurants (ones kinder to the pocket) and a useful internet café.

Flying from Ireland there is good deals available from airlines such as RyanAir and AerLingus. These airlines fly from airports located in Cork, Shannon, Dublin and Belfast.
If flying from England airlines including BMIbaby, EasyJet and RyanAir will fly to Malaga with great offfers available all year round and will be located in any major airport.
It is not neccessary to rent a car but if you want to travel to many distant attractions a car would be avisable and I would be happy to reccommend a carhire company to you if you choose to visit.
