About the home

The apartment is located approximately 50 meters from the open and bright Calafell´s Promenade (Tarragona).
I would say it has all the advantages of an apartment located in a tourist area: near, but not on the Paseo, direct access from the street, but not so immediate as to be observed; terrace? Yes, but not uncomfortable with all the sunlight, bustling? No, calm ... And so many details, and hopefully you like it. Come and see ...

For a beach apartment is very important to have a space to store things on the beach. It is, therefore, that our apartment has a storage room to store all those things you do not want to go in after the beach.

The Calafell area

Calafell is a town nestled in the Gold Coast. The tourism industry is the first of the town for almost half a century. We have an exceptional climate with 300 sunny days per year, which led to the location of the colonies Vilamar, the former Sanatorium of Saint John of God and the first European to residential garden city model (Calafell) . Recognized as a tourist town in the province of Tarragona in 2008 (with Cambrils and Salou).

Calafell has an important fishing and seafaring tradition, which is reflected in its cuisine. The products are welcomed in Calafell Appellations of Origin Penedès (wine and champagne) and Siurana (oil). Calafell belongs to the Route Xató and organizes activities to promote local quality products.

The heritage of the Paleolithic era to Calafell starts and ends in contemporary architecture. Calafell belongs to the European network of museums, outdoor exarch. These include the medieval castle of the Holy Cross, the church of St. Michael and the Roman site of Vilarenc. The Iberian Citadel scientifically reconstruct an archaeological site, designed as educational equipment.

Calafell has two buildings of modern times winners of FAD. Has approved a list of historic and architectural heritage.

Calafell has a very pronounced seasonality. The registered population rubs 25,000 inhabitants, although it must be true of some 45,000. On weekends and public holidays approaching the 80,000 residents. In high season it gets to 150,000.

To get to our apartment we have several options:
By plane from the airport of El Prat (Barcelona) and from there by train, taxi or bus.

By plane from the airport of Reus (Tarragona) and from there, preferably by taxi.
There is also the airport of Girona, although further. From there by taxi.

By train from Barcelona and Tarragona, there is no problem, access is easy!
By train, the roads are excellent.

If you have your own car, the highways and roads are very good from anywhere in Spain or Europe.
