The apartment is fully equipped to the highest standard. It is suitable for 4 people and has an en-suite bathroom for the main bedroom with a additional bathroom for the second bedroom. There is also storage space off the second bedroom for suitcases and golf clubs or sports equipment.

The main community pool is large with the second pool smaller. The gardens are well kept and spacious and there is a small gazebo if you just fancy sitting out and enjoying the view. Close by there are tennis courts, gymnasiums and pool if you fancy something different.

The Andalucia region

Calahonda is located in the heart of the Costa del Sol. It enjoys sunshine over 300 days a year and has miles of beautiful sandy beaches bathed by the blue mediterranean. It also has an abundance of restaurants, shops and other places to visit. Rub shoulders with the jet set in Puerto Banus, close to Marbella and only a 20 minute drive away or take a ride up into the mountains, enjoy the wonderful scenery and get some exercise hiking at the same time; you can even ski or snowboard in Sierra Nevada only a two hour drive from the apartment. The area is a golfer's paradise with over 50 courses some designed by world class players such as Seve Ballesteros and Gary Player. They all have one thing in common, the fantastic sunny and dry climate which allows golfers to play all year round. You have a selection of around 10 of these golf courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment, offering something for everyone, from the beginner to the seasoned veteran.

If it´s the food you´re interested in, try some of the local "tapas", a bite size snack you can order with your drink or some of Malaga´s famous "pescaito frito", fresh fried fish washed down with a glass of sangria.

For those of you who really want to do something different, Morocco is not that far, only an hour´s ride away to the ferry in Algeciras where you jump on the hydrofoil and can be in Tangiers in 45 minutes.


Calahonda Park is located less than 5 minutes from one of the lovely, local beaches and only a few minutes from local amenities, such as shops, bars and restaurants. It is a quiet and peaceful development with 2 community swimming pools and beautiful, landscaped gardens offering a perfect setting a relaxing holiday. The main area of Calahonda offers a variety of restaurants, live entertainment, supermarkets and other shops and is within walking distance of the apartment. It is only 15-20 minutes by car to both of the larger resorts of Fuengirola and Marbella. There are regular local markets in La Cala which is only 10 minutes away and in Fuengirola.

"lovely place for a family holiday in a relaxing location"

we're only just home from spending our summer holiday at this apartment.It really was one of the nicest complexes we have ever stayed,perfect for safe,well maintained and well managed.The apartment is comfortable and well equipped,it really does have everything you might need,the air-conditioning was very welcome especially at night.The owner is very helpful and was exceptionally thoughtful to leave a basic food/water pack for us on arrival...this was a lovely suprise and was so useful to us when we arrived.The general area is lovely,right on the main bus line,short walk to the beach or shops and restaurants,the location is a great place to stay for young or old.
we loved our stay here and hope we can come back soon.thanks Elaine,we've lovely memories of Calahonda :)

"Lovely apartment, well equipped."

Excellent contact with owner. They arranged transfer to and from airport for us. Kindly supplied food essentials for as late evening arrival. Beach and supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful swimming pool. Definitely recommend
